Minor rust that comes with the age, No remote lock, A minor engine oil leak, Airbag light is on, Front Passenger Seat's window can only be controlled from the driver's side, Runs well but isn't smooth when shifting gears, which doesn't bother me at all. The leather seats are intact, seatbelts and everything else works, paint can be seen being aged with the sun. The transmission fluid was replaced Oct 2013 Motor Oil was recently serviced in May 2013 (Will do an oil change soon) Tires were replaced in Aug 2013 I'm selling this car because I'm moving into Manhattan, I think this car would be great for getting around occasionally to run errands, I currently drive it daily with no problems. I've listed all the problems that I know of and the mechanic knows of with the car, if you have anymore questions, please contact me about it, I will not keep any known defects from you. Tow truck driver hilariously bad at righting a flipped Mazda
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Can rolling your car get any worse? The correct answer is yes, as this poor soul found out when he rolled his Mazda3 onto its side. Calling a tow truck might be a logical, post-rollover move, but in this case, it kind of made the situation worse.
We don't want to give away just what happened, so you'll need to scroll down and watch the video. A fair warning, though, it does contain a moment of colorful language towards the end, so watching it at work, with the volume up, might not be wise. Have a look below for the full video.
2016 Mazda6 gets a facelift in LA
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show is a busy one for Mazda, as the Japanese brand shows off not only its all-new CX-3, but a facelifted Mazda6 sedan.
The 2016 sedan has been nipped and tucked to better fit in with newer members of the brand's range, including the aforementioned CX-3, as well as the Mazda3 and MX-5 Miata.
The grille's horizontal slats are now trimmed in chrome, while the brand's chrome wing motif on the fascia is larger and more prominent, particularly where it feeds into the headlights.
Mazda3 Skyactiv-Hybrid and CNG Concept shown in Japan
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Mazda has received a tremendous amount of public and industry praise in the last few years, following up the successful introduction of its Skyactiv technology (powertrain and otherwise), with strong products like CX-5, Mazda6 and most recently, the Mazda3. At the Tokyo Motor Show, Mazda has taken yet another step forward with Skyactiv and the 3, showing the compact (called "Axela" in Japan) with an all-new compressed natural gas engine in the Skyactiv-CNG Concept.
The end result of the Skyactiv-Hybrid is fuel consumption estimated at something like 74 miles per gallon.
Mazda thinks that CNG-powered vehicles are due for an uptick in demand, and the company believes this new powertrain will add valuable breadth to the Mazda3 range. The CNG Concept is actually a duel-fuel vehicle, capable of running on either natural gas or gasoline. In fact, we're told that the high compression ratio (14:1) inherent in Skyactiv-technology gasoline engines makes conversion to CNG particularly simple.
