This vehicle is in MINT Condition. I am the original owner and the vehicle was purchased BRAND NEW. The vehicle is and has always been GARAGE KEPT (Inside a heated garage). This vehicle has never seen or been driven in RAIN or SNOW. Vehicle has always been meticulously maintained and the oil has been changed regularly regardless of the mileage. The current mileage is 42,300 miles. Color is Electric Green with Saddle Leather Seats.

The factory radio was upgraded to a Pioneer CD/Navigation Unit with integrated BLUETOOTH hands free, but I still have the original factory radio which is included with the car. The interior has factory installed/upgraded carbon fiber dashboard panels. There is a Active/Passive factory remote security system.

The paint is overall excellent with some normal front hood rock chips. The convertible top is in absolutely PERFECT condition and looks like it just came off the showroom floor.
The convertible top operates flawlessly. The interior is in immaculate perfect condition and has never seen cigarette smoke or wet dirty shoes.

There is a scuff on (1) of the aluminum wheels (PICTURED). The remaining (3) wheels are pristine.

The vehicle shifts like NEW. The interior leather, carpet and dashboard are all in perfect, immaculate condition.

The wheels are in overall great shape except for one scuff which I pictured. It is barely noticeable, but I photographed it up close to show. The tires are in excellent condition.

I have all of the maintenance paperwork on the vehicle.

This car has never been in any accident, but I will disclose that I did hit a raccoon one summer night which put a small crack in the front bumper cover near the driver side fog light and opted to have the bumper cover replaced which was done to perfection. I have the repair paperwork in hand for this repair. It was a minor crack, but I couldn't live with it. So I spent nearly $1000 on the bumper cover and paint. The repair did go through my insurance and will therefor show up on the CarFax report.

PLEASE - Serious inquiries only - I do not need to unload this car and will wait to get what it is worth. I will not accept low ball offers. Recent dealer auctions show that this vehicle has sold for between $11k-$13k nationwide. My vehicle is in far better condition when compared to these other auctions nationwide. Plus I am the original owner with all paperwork in hand. I will hold out for my price, but guarantee you will not find a better MR2 Spyder than this one!

$13,500.00

Please email me with any questions or to set up an inspection.

Serious Inquiries Only.
THANKS!

Maserati Levante SUV previewed in patent drawings

Wed, May 20 2015

Maserati is set to become the next high-end automaker to get into the crossover game with the impending launch of the Levante, and this could be our best look at it yet. Revealed in drawings reportedly filed with the patent and trademark office in Australia, these line drawings give us an idea of what to expect from the design of the Trident marque's upcoming crossover. The styling looks fairly consistent with what we've come to expect from the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans, only in a higher-roofed, liftback form. Evident in the design are the Modenese automaker's grille and lighting forms, its signature portal vents along the front fender, powerful rear haunches and a steeply raked tailgate. Previewed by the Kubang concepts of 2003 and 2011, the Levante will be a vital product for Maserati's expansion – just as the Bentayga will be for Bentley, the F-Pace for Jaguar, the DBX for Aston Martin and the Urus (if ever approved) for Lamborghini. Expect it to pack the same V6, V8 and diesel engines as the aforementioned existing sedans when it debuts sometime soon into the new year ahead. Related Video:

The List #0100: Drive the Italian Alps

Tue, Jul 7 2015

The List travels to northern Italy to experience driving the Italian Alps. For this grand drive, we need a proper grand touring sports car. The Maserati Quattroporte fits the bill, with four doors, space for luggage, and all-wheel drive for those snowy mountain passes. But first our hosts make a quick stop at the Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari in Modena to take in an exhibit celebrating 100 years of Maserati. "The scenery is unbelievable," says host Patrick McIntyre. "If you're going to come all the way to Italy, rent a car and drive through [the Alps]." Join Jessi and Patrick as the check 'drive the Italian Alps' off of their list. Have an RSS feed? Bid on the very first Maserati Ghibli Spyder [w/video]

Wed, Jul 22 2015

In reviving the Ghibli nameplate, Maserati may have applied it to a sedan this time around. But the original Maserati Ghibli was a coupe – and as anyone who knows their history of exotic Italian automobiles will tell you, it also bred a convertible. What you see here is the first example, and now it's going up for auction during Monterey Car Week. Maserati only built 128 examples of the Ghibli Spyder, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Ghia, making it a highly sought-after roadster and an icon of its time. This Ghibli – bearing chassis number AM115/S 1001 – wasn't merely one of them. It was the factory prototype, the one which the Modenese automaker displayed at both the Turin Motor Show in 1968 and the Geneva Motor Show in '69. The production models that followed featured some subtle changes, particularly to the trunk, filler caps, and door handles. But rather than hold on to the prototype, Maserati sold this yellow show car when it was done with it. The roadster was bought by one Ruggiero Capuano in 1969, who had it for six years before selling it to Libero Girardi, an Italian-American and Ferrari mechanic in Rhode Island, who in turn transferred ownership to John Ferro, his son-in-law. Ferro drove it for over a decade before putting it in storage for the better part of 30 years. Its current owner bought it from Ferro, took it out of storage, and put it on the concours circuit, picking up numerous trophies along the way. Having been properly stored, the Ghibli Spyder never required much restoration, and remains in highly original condition. That ought to make it a hot item even among the other notable lots that RM Sotheby's has lined up for Monterey this year. Though the auction house isn't saying how much it expects the prototype to sell for, Sports Car Market records that a Ghibli Spyder (also in yellow) was sold by Artcurial in Paris last year for over $1 million. Considering the provenance and condition of this prototype, we'd expect it to sell for even more. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
