We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or not have a thorough description of that item.

Our goal is simple. We aim to be honest and fair with all of our deals. Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We achieve this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item for sale. Business is expanding, explaining the new eBay account.

The best and only 2005 Toyota MR2 SPYDER on eBay! With a very low reserve (for real), problem free, CLEAR TITLE, a fresh professional paint job, CLEAN CARFAX and a licensed dealer with 100% positive feedback, this will be the easiest decision you have made in a long time!

What an experience! This car drives as good as it looks. The MR2 SPYDER was built to drive and handle the road anytime anywhere. The coupe convertible delivers! When you drive this, it will not cease to amaze you and it WILL exceed your expectations, starting with… this can get 33 mpg!

In the pictures below, the asking price is $8788, this is our retail price, not our eBay reserve. Our reserve is thousands below suggested retail on kbb.com, and still way lower than our $8788 retail price. Ready to save?

The INTERIOR: I didn’t expect much room judging by the outside. Me being 6’ tall on a large frame, I had my doubts about fitting comfortably. With ease I was in and out of the car with normal effort, after all this is a sports car and not a luxury sedan. There was plenty of leg room and I was actually comfortable even being bundled up in layers of winter clothing. There is some dust in the interior from the paint preparation work, this will be cleaned before delivery! This MR2 is far from average, there are no words to explain how it makes you feel when you are behind the wheel. The upholstery is all in great shape. The seats have all the proper supports to keep you in place when maneuvering. The original floor mats are still in great shape! This car shows like it has 50k miles on it. The aftermarket radio is a very nice upgrade. With a USB port and an IPod/IPhone hook up it is easy to connect your device to the SPYDER’S beautiful surround sound. The touch screen display really brings this car up to date; it’s even fully operable with the display closed. The heat works great and the A/C was cold. All of the electronic options work as it should! This car not only shows well, but it was maintained very well through its years.

The EXTERIOR: As you would expect the outside is just as beautiful. The MR2 is known to have clear coat issues that only happen from time. This makes the car look 20 years older; this problem has already been taken care of by a professional. The color has not been changed and there was no body work done. In fact under the antenna on the rear is the only flaw, there is a small ding that is not noticeable. There wasn’t any rust anywhere either. The matching tires are all in great shape and the wheels look great! There are no chips, scratches or blemishes on this car. The projector headlights are a very nice feature. These headlights are bright and it focuses the light on the road making it safer for oncoming traffic. The top is in great shape with no leaks or holes; the stitching is not failing either, no dry rot indications. The top works great, easy up and down. I think this car was garaged most of its life. This is a great, problem free coupe convertible!

The MOTOR/HANDLING: The MR2 starts right up and purrs patiently, eager to go. The clutch feels nice and tight with no play, as if it’s been recently replaced. The gears are very close together and smooth. The acceleration is very sensitive and responsive. Engaging the clutch and transitioning through the gears felt clean and tight, like a SPYDER should. You can make it a very smooth ride when you want. It seems like you spend a lot less time shifting between gears. The disc brakes are very effective at stopping the car. No one thinks about slowing down fast, but Toyota thought of everything on this car. The independent suspension is very quiet and absorbent. The mid-ship engine definitely makes a difference. The low center of gravity takes effect when cornering and there feels like there is no give, no play. The SPYDER feels light and agile, not heavy and sloppy. The steering is also very tight and sensitive, it’s not stiff in anyway, just smooth. This machine feels well balanced, precise, raw, simple but powerful! There is no mistaking this car for any other and what better color than ‘absolute red’?

This experience can be yours every day. If you feel like you deserve a reward… this car is the perfect way to treat yourself. Start the year off right and do what you always wanted to. This is the deal you have been looking for. This car was over $25,000 new. Suggested retail on KBB.com is currently almost $10,000. Our reserve is thousands lower than that (over $3k lower). Seriously you can save thousands on this deal and have a brand new paint job! Don’t buy from the middle man, go directly to the source, US!

Junkyard Gem: 1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati

Sun, Nov 27 2022

Lee Iacocca's friendship with Alejandro de Tomaso went way back, and it led to the Ford-powered De Tomaso Pantera being born in 1971 (when Iacocca was running Ford). After Iacocca moved over to head Chrysler in 1978, he began working with de Tomaso (who owned Maserati by that point) to develop a sports coupe based on the Chrysler-salvation K-Car platform. It took quite a while, but eventually that car became reality: the Chrysler TC by Maserati (officially known as Chrysler's TC by Maserati). Some 7,300 were built through 1991, and I've found one of them in a Denver-area car graveyard. I've managed to document four of these cars in their final parking spots prior to this one, in wrecking yards in Colorado, California, and Wisconsin. The Chrysler's TC by Maserati does have a devoted following, but they can't save 'em all. The TC really was assembled by Maserati in Italy, but the underlying chassis was taken from the Dodge Daytona. The body bore a strong resemblance to that of the Chrysler LeBaron GTC, which was unfortunate considering the price difference between the two cars: the MSRP on the 1989 TC was $33,000, while the LeBaron GTC cost $17,435 (that's about $80,880 and $42,730 in 2022 dollars). The TC had three different engines driving the front wheels over its short lifetime: two varieties of turbocharged Chrysler 2.2 four-cylinder (one with 160 horsepower and one with a Cosworth cylinder head with 200 horsepower) and that good old workhorse of a Mitsubishi V6: the 6G72, with 141 horses. This car has the 160hp 2.2. The Cosworth-headed cars (500 were built) got a five-speed manual transmission, but the other 6,800 TCs got a Chrysler slushbox of either three or four speeds (this one is a three-speed). There was a lot of snobbish disapproval of the TC by the automotive press, but just look at that interior! Even the most over-the-top LeBaron never got this level of swank inside.  Every time I write about one of these cars, I hear that the factory hardtop roof is worth fantastic money… but four out of the five examples I've found in junkyards had the hardtop, and I think every single one went to the crusher with its car. How many miles? Not many! Maybe the speedometer cable broke in 1995. The radio and HVAC controls are straight LeBaron, but the wood and leather are the real thing.

Maserati GranTurismo successor to be smaller, fight Porsche 911

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The Chevrolet Corvette, Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911 all belong to a club that shuns the Maserati GranTurismo as an outsider. You see, those three key sports cars all measure within an inch of one another in length - 176 to 177 inches and change - while the Maserati comes in at over 192 inches. Naturally, there's extra length between its wheels, as well.
While those extra inches would seemingly pay dividends in interior roominess and storage space, those are not exactly the most important attributes in the segment, which values proper proportions and proper driving feel over all else. All of this is why it comes as little surprise that Maserati is working on a smaller version of its two-door sports car platform when the next generation is ready in roughly three years.
According to Motor Trend and echoing rumors we've heard in the past, the smaller model will be known as the Gran Sport while a larger model will still be called GranTurismo in coupe form and GranCabrio in convertible guise. We're told, again, to expect Maserati's new 404-horsepower supercharged V6 engine as standard, while the V8 would still be a possible option.
