2003 Toyota Mr2 Spyder Convertible 2 Door Manual Trans - Only 28k Miles! on 2040-cars
San Ramon, California, United States
|
ZIPPY and FUN TO DRIVE 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder is rare and ready for you. Runs smoothly and corners great! Put the top down and feel the air and sun as you cruise along with this cute roadster car which gets up to 35 highway miles. Low mileage at 28,665 and has been from Florida to Kentucky (where I bought it) to California! Garaged and not used in unpleasant weather! Still looks new. Minor small nicks and some scratches in plastic on interior but is a great opportunity for a great handling sports car at a low price. It is powered by a 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder engine and gets a fuel economy EPA of 25 mpg city and 33 highway even though I normally got 35 mph. Slide into leather seats and place your hands on the leather steering wheel and pop in that cd with awesome sound and hit the streets! 5 speed manual transmission is smooth and enjoyable! Storage compartments behind seats and by spare in front for smaller items. Power windows, locks, side mirrors. White exterior really shines! Added VIPER Car Alarm as well as LoJack Police monitoring system. So much more! Clear title with no accidents. Did note a scratch along bottom right rear of car after purchase but runs great! Never smoked in! High quality car! |

Maserati calling in new Quattroporte for electrical issue
Fri, 27 Dec 2013Exotic automobiles are just that: exotic. As in, rare. While Maserati is trying is darnedest to emerge from the fringes, its products are still less common than competitors from Germany, Japan or even the UK. Which is probably - more so than any superior quality or safety standards - why we rarely see the Trident marque's products the subject of a recall. Although it does happen upon occasion.
Back in the spring, Maserati had to call in over seven thousand examples of the Quattroporte, GranTurismo and Alfa 8C over rust issues. Now that the new Quattroporte is upon us, the Modenese automaker has apparently run into another small problem.
This time the issue revolves around the wiring harness for the alternator/starter motor, an improper crimp in which could cause the battery cable to short and start a fire. As a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is prompting 63 owners of the 2014 Quattroporte GTS V8 to bring their cars in to their local Maserati dealer to have the wiring harness replaced.

Maserati Ghibli revealed ahead of Shanghai debut
Tue, 09 Apr 2013We knew it was coming, and here it is: the 2014 Maserati Ghibli. Maserati's plan of selling 50,000 cars per year by 2015 starts with the Ghibli, which will be positioned in a more volume-friendly market against the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series. The Ghibli will make its official debut later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Although our first look at Maseati's newest sedan is limited to just three images, we can see that the car will have a sportier exterior design than its bigger brother, the Quattroporte, to go with an equally luxurious interior. Under its long, sleek hood, Maserati has confirmed that the Ghibli will utilize a pair of 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engines - one gas and one diesel - both mated to eight-speed automatic transmissions. A rear-wheel-drive configuration will be standard, and the Italian automaker's new Q4 all-wheel-drive system will be available.
Scroll down for the brief teaser press release.
