1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Gs Convertible 2-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Levittown, Pennsylvania, United States

Hi I am selling a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Convertible. This car is a driver and has been used on a daily basis I am going to start off by saying that their is no rust or dents on this car just the usual parking lot marks and nicks that you would expect from a car of this age. The exterior is in good condition and the paint shines nicely. The convertible top is not ripped but it does show some wear considering its the original top that came with the car from the factory. The rear window is made of glass not plastic. The interior is in nice shape the dash does not have any cracks the door panels are in good shape the seats are tan and cloth and are not ripped but do show some wear do to its a convertible and has had the top down on many days I would say that they are kind of faded but not a big deal the carpet is tan and original and still looks good. Everything in the interior works as it should and the car also has an aftermarket radio cd with a cd changer in the trunk. The trunk is in good shape and still has the factory jack and spare and also has black trim and carpet. The car has always been serviced the oil changed every 3000 miles and tuned up at scheduled points. The engine was rebuilt 3 years ago around 150k due to the factory balancer had a defect and came apart this is a very common problem with this type engine we had the engine taken apart had the cylinder head refurbished a new balancer installed along with the timing belt and tensioners water pump the ignition coil and plug wires belts and hoses and all new gaskets I also replaced the Clutch pressure plate throw out bearing flywheel and slave cylinder with all factory Mitsubishi parts. The rims are factory Mitsubishi alloys with brand new tires that only have 2200 miles since having them installed the brakes and rotors were all changed last year and I did have some exhaust work done as well. This car is still registered state inspected and insured and driven on a regular basis. For the age of this car you are not going to find one in this shape I am only selling due to I need something bigger for work and cannot keep up with two vehicles at this time. Any time I go anywhere in this car people always complement me on how nice and clean the car is and most mistake it for a new car. I can insure you that you can fly in from anywhere and drive this car home If you are in my area you are more than welcome to have a mechanic take a look or you can take it for a test drive. I will also say that this is an older car and I have kept up with everything very well to make sure that I was safe and sound and If I had a garage to keep it in just to put it away I would because this car is sure to be a classic in the near future. If you have any questions please send me an e mail and I will get right back to you and thanks for looking at my car.

Maserati Quattroporte custom-built wagon up for sale
Fri, May 7 2021These days, any modern station wagon is a rare machine, with models such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Volvo V90, Audi RS6 Avant, and Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo selling not much more than a handful each. But combine the rarity of the wagon body style with the relative obscurity of the Maserati Quattroporte, and you have a truly unique longroof. That's exactly what you see here, a Maserati Quattroporte shooting brake, and it's coming up for sale by Historics Auctioneers in the U.K. Maserati never made a wagon version of its Quattroporte — "Cinqueporte"? — but that didn't stop one determined U.K. buyer. Inspired by the Quattroporte-based Bellagio Fastback, four of which were built by the Italian coachbuilder Touring, he had this 2016 Quattroporte converted into a shooting brake. The work was carried out by British high-end car restorer Adam Redding. The result looks like it could have come out of the factory in Modena. It's finished in Gunmetal Grey Metallic with 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels with a black finish. The interior is Nero leather. There are no jump seats in the cargo hold, just luggage space, which again appears finished to a factory standard and is accessed via a power liftgate. Other features include navigation, parking sensors, heated seats, a backup camera, and a sunroof. As a U.K. car, this Maserati is right-hand drive. The Quattroporte's voluptuous styling lends itself to the wagon form. Too bad Maserati is unlikely ever to pick up the baton and offer such a model itself. Short of commissioning one yourself, this upcoming auction is likely to be the only chance to get one. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2023 Maserati Grecale revealed with 523-hp twin-turbo V6
Tue, Mar 22 2022After months of releasing preview images and several delays, Maserati has introduced the Grecale, its long-awaited entry-level SUV. The sub-Levante model is aimed directly at the Porsche Macan, and it will likely become the firm's best-selling nameplate in the coming years. The latest addition to the Maserati range stretches 191 inches long and 66 inches tall, dimensions that make it about six inches shorter and nearly the same height as the Levante. Visually, it illustrates what Maserati design boss Klaus Busse meant when he told us that future Maserati models would borrow styling cues from the MC20: its front end is defined by a wide grille positioned below a pair of elongated headlights. Viewed from the side, the Grecale leans more toward sportiness than utility, while the back end wears horizontal lights connected by a strip of bright trim. Vents chiseled into the fenders and trident-shaped logos on the C-pillars link the SUV to the rest of the Maserati range. It's a design that works, in our opinion: The Grecale is recognizable as a Maserati but not a copy of an existing model. Busse told us that the idea wasn't merely to Xerox the MC20's front end onto the body of an SUV. "The design philosophy that I laid out in the beginning was actually done before we designed [the MC20 and the Grecale]. We really had to sit down and get our ahead around what we want to do with the next chapter of the brand. The reality is that 70% of the design process is understanding the message that you want to create, and the car then designs itself and the remaining 30% is just putting it on paper. We didn't want to design the car purely for Instagram; end up with a car loaded with real or fake features, lines, and creases. We're very much about purity. Maserati is a very strong performing car, so it doesn't need to shout, "Hey, look at me!" Quite the opposite; it wants to be a rolling structure, a car that adds almost visual value to its environment. That's the overreaching philosophy," Busse told Autoblog. Inside, Maserati integrated a relatively long list of tech features without making the dashboard look like the automotive equivalent of an iPhone. The driver faces up to four screens: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) digital instrument cluster, an 8.8-inch touchscreen positioned right below, and a digital clock — yes, that seemingly counts as a screen.
Latin music star Ren? P?rez destroys own Maserati to send kids a message
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Can destroying a car be art? That question comes a bit too late for the Maserati Quattroporte seen above. The act depicted is from the music video for Adentro by Puerto Rican hip-hop act Calle 13 new single.
While the video is not yet online, the making-of featurette is available below and shows the luxury sedan getting beat with a baseball bat (and more) by the group's frontman René Pérez. According to Latin Gossip, Pérez wants to send his fans a message not to place too high a value in material objects. The Maserati represents a time in his life of too much excess, it seems...
The guy might have an argument, but it still seems pretty wasteful to destroy a perfectly good Italian sports sedan. We will be curious to see how far the destruction goes, but you can get a peak at it in the video below.
