Wells, New York, United States

Daytona Spyder, has the Ferrari logos and package, Replica or Kit Car, built on a late model Corvette Chassis, we think 1975 to early 1980's. Hubby was looking to find the body chassis number but as of late no luck. We don't know a lot about the car other then what was relayed to us. My father-in-law purchased the car in Oklahoma city, then had it shipped to us in Upstate New York.  4 speed manual with short throw shifter. Built in New York and has a NY custom built Title. We have owned it since 2005 and has been garaged and never seen New York winters, actually never seen rain (it isn't allowed out in weather).

Chevy 350 and motor was rebuilt Stroker 383, we have not taken the motor apart so this is not verified. Motor runs great, sounds fabulous. A real head turner and tons of power. Mechanically she is sound no issues or problems. Has adjustable suspension, 4 corner adjustments. We have a am/fm cd player, we will install, but we bought it with no radio. Shaved door handle, which means no door handle. Key FOB with door kickers that open the doors. Trunk auto open and close. Top is in great shape no rips or tears like new with leather boot. Seats are leather black, show some normal wear no rips or tears. Body has a few minor door dings. She is not perfect but fairly close, with minor cosmetic repairs. We are selling it because with limited weather conditions for her to be drivable, we don't drive it. Missing 3 emblems on spinner hub caps of flying horse, but all wheels have the Italian logos. Missing an interior light cover (see pictures).Has the flying horse car mats.

No warranty as is condition. Buyer is responsible for pick up or having the car shipped although we will help you get this handled as much as possible. If you have questions contact me, or will happily give you hubby's phone number to talk to a live person to answer any concerns, thanks Kim

Maserati's Super Bowl spot may have cost more than $700 per car [w/video]

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

It's no secret that Super Bowl ad time is very, very expensive, with a 30-second spot for this year's game costing around $4 million. For Maserati, which aired a 90-second spot showing off its new Ghibli sedan during this year's game, the price was considerably above $4 million, though.
Automotive News estimates that the spot cost Maserati the equivalent of over $700 for each of the 15,400 vehicles sold last year. That works out to nearly $11 million. It may have paid off, though, as search traffic for Maserati and the Ghibli in particular saw a significant spike following the airing of the stylish commercial, and the brand's total sales were already on target for record levels before the ad aired.
The Ghibli "deserved a wide audience platform such as the Super Bowl," according to Maserati's chief marketing officer, Saad Chehab. The sports sedan is Maserati's most affordable entry, with prices starting around $67,000, moving the brand further downmarket than it's ever ventured before.

2014 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 [w/video]

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

For one reason or another, this is a car people stare at. They might be drawn to its curvaceous shape riding on immense wheels. They could be intrigued by its gaping, blacked-out grille which houses an equally outsized trident logo, or doing quick calculations about the last time they saw a car wearing the name Maserati. It may be its sports-car-like proportions mixed with achingly long, four-door bodywork that draws their eye.
Or, and I urge you to consider this theory carefully, the people taking notice of this Maserati Ghibli S Q4 might simply be newly alert after hearing the sound of its exhaust ricocheting off any solid thing nearby as I drive past grinning like a certified asshat. Did you hear an Italianate engine song careening through your Ann Arbor, MI neighborhood, in the black of the early morning, just a few weeks previous? Sorry, guy, that was probably me.
I spent a week hammering this all-wheel-drive Ghibli as hard as I dared in the last truly miserable stretch of the God Awful Winter of 2014. I can honestly say that I enjoyed myself, shocked at both the frank way this new challenger luxury car went down the road as well as the attention it garnered in the process.

Maserati bringing new sports car concept to Geneva?

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

Maserati is in the midst of a major product overhaul. The Quattroporte was recently redone, the Ghibli is a fresh new model and the Levante crossover is still in the pipeline. But what about its two-door line? Surely Maserati hasn't forgotten about those, right?
Not according to the latest gossip, it hasn't. Word has it that in celebration of its centenary this year, the Trident marque is preparing a new sports car concept to unveil at the Geneva Motor Show. Apparently smaller than the aging GranTurismo, the new concept is said to take aim at the Jaguar F-Type - not to mention the Porsche 911.
According to GTSpirit, the concept could pack the Modenese automaker's new twin-turbo V6 or V8 engines, but no matter how many cylinders, it's understood we're likely looking at a front-engine/rear-drive layout and an automatic transmission.
