Beautiful 2008 Maserati Quattroporte - Executive car, 2nd owner, accident free car with very low miles (27,700). The color combination of Grigio Alfieri paint over Nero leather (with contrasting piping) is truly striking, and this car is in fantastic condition (like new) inside and out. factory equipment includes, 19'' ball polished wheels, black wire mesh grille from the sport GT, and contrating piping in Grigio Medio. Included with this car are both original keys, floor mats, factory car cover and complete owner's manual set. Model Overview The 2008 Maserati Quattroporte is powered by a Ferrari-designed, 4.2L V8 engine making 400 horsepower. The Automatic transmission has shift paddles behind the steering wheel. The Quattroporte can accelerate to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 168 mph. The Quattroporte has better weight distribution than most sport sedans and is claimed by the automaker to be the best-handling sedan in the world. With the engine mounted behind the front axle, more weight is placed on the rear wheels for better traction and better-balanced handling. The weight distribution is split 47/53 front/rear, with the transmission locked to the differential for optimal performance. The suspension is also designed for high-performance driving. It uses forged aluminum arms and supports and a special geometry that prevents the front end from diving during braking or the rear end from squatting during hard acceleration. The Skyhook suspension system, co-developed with Mannesmann-Sachs, uses a series of sensors to instantly adjust the shocks for driving conditions; it includes normal and sport settings. A Brembo anti-lock braking system brings big four-piston calipers to all four wheels for quick stops from high speed. Electronic stability control is also standard. On the safety front, electronic stability control is standard. So are six air bags, including front side air bags and side curtain air bags covering front and rear occupants. Inside, the Quattroporte is finished in Frau Leather with Walnut Briarwood interior trim. The entertainment is provided by a Bose audio system developed for the Quattroporte. Ball-polished 19-inch wheels. If you need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me @

Maserati confirms mystery concept, Zegna edition QP for Geneva

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Debate ensued last week around the Autoblog offices when we first heard rumors that Maserati was bringing a new sports car concept to the Geneva Motor Show this year. Could there be any truth to the rumors? Did the timing make any sense? Does Maserati even need a two-door halo car to help it move examples of the new Ghibli, Quattroporte and upcoming Levante?
Well, we still don't have any official answer, but Maserati has indeed confirmed a new concept car to debut this week at the Swiss expo. The Modenese automaker hasn't indicated what form the concept will take, but assuming it's not doing another sedan or crossover, and unless it's planning a wagon concept like Touring's Bellagio Fastback or StudioTorino's Cinqueporte (both based on the previous Quattroporte), we feel it's more likely than not that we'll be looking at a two-door (be it a coupe, convertible or something in between).
Of course, we also don't know at this point just what size and segment Maserati is pursuing with this concept car (initial rumors had it going after the Jaguar F-Type) or for that matter whether it will presage a production version to follow or simply stand as a design study. But Maserati doesn't typically do many of the latter: the Kubang concepts of 2011 and 2003 previewed the Levante (albeit several years in advance), and the Birdcage was really more of a Pininfarina project, despite the Trident on the nose. With the exception of a couple production-based show cars (which themselves previewed production versions to follow), those are pretty much the only concepts Maserati has done in recent memory.

Leak confirms Maserati product plans, five new models

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

It isn't a secret that Maserati is planning a product expansion in an attempt sell 50,000 units annually by 2015, but the automaker hasn't officially announced just how it plans to do so. Yes, we've seen (and driven) the 2014 Quattroporte, checked out spy shots for the smaller Ghibli sedan and Maserati even confirmed the Levante name for its SUV, but a leaked document reported by CarScoop could shed some light on how the Italian automaker intends on carrying out its rapid growth.
According to the image, the new Ghibli and Levante models will considerably lower the entry price point for the Maserati brand with the sedan having a price range from around $72,000 up to just over the $100,000 mark, with the SUV starting at close to $80,000 and topping out at almost $200,000. It also looks like the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be getting redesigned in the near future at which point the new Gran Sport model will be added to the mix - otherwise known as the which often-rumored sports car with which Maserati will do battle with the Porsche 911.

Maserati rapidly expanding dealer network

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

With the new Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans out on the market, and the new Levante crossover and Alfieri coupe on their way, Maserati is making serious headway towards revitalizing its lineup. Now all it needs in order to reach its ambitious sales targets is to expand the network of dealers where they're to be sold. And according to Maserati chief Harald Wester in speaking to Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, that's exactly what it has in store.
At the end of last year, Maserati had 79 dealerships across the United States. It has already boosted that number to 100 so far this year, but before 2014 is over, it plans to open another 20 to bring the total up to (carry the two, divide by the square-root of Pi)... 120 showrooms.
Globally speaking, Maserati reportedly closed 2012 with around 220-230 dealers around the world, and currently has about 355, but aims to close 2015 with a worldwide network of 450 dealers, representing a doubling of its network in two years' time. Having more than a quarter of those in the US alone is testament to how seriously Maserati takes the American market.
