Gran Turismo S (rare Mc-shift) Maserati Certified Pre-owned on 2040-cars
Saint Augustine, Florida, United States
Stunning Condition! CERTIFED pre-owned with WARRANTY!
Hunting for the difficult to find F1 trans Gran Turismo S? Here she is, hard to find...Even more difficult to find CERTIFIED!!!! This is my third Maserati purchased from the same Maserati dealer, I searched high and low for a top condition (F1 shift) car that was certified, the dealer knowing how picky I was found this vehicle..I was of course more than happy. Full paint protection (Invizashield) applied to nose, headlights, mirrors, behind tires, even side spats were covered before I took delivery. Upon purchase I installed wheel spacers (High dollar spacers that have through bolts all the way to the hub no adapter plates). Newer rear tires were installed. All service up to date. This car was obviously certified so it has been gone through front to rear. As you would expect with less than 10K miles, condition is fantastic with no known accidents. Independent inspections are WELCOME. Vehicle stored in climate controlled garage, never driven in poor weather! BID WITH CONFIDENCE |

Maserati Levante production starting next year, Alfieri could come within 28 months
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Maserati is on a roll. The new Ghibli and Quattroporte have been huge successes, and it unveiled the gorgeous Alfieri concept (pictured above) at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The next step for the brand is getting the Levante crossover into production.
"We are getting Mirafiori ready for production [of the Levante]. The first bodies are expected for 2015," said Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne to Reuters in Geneva. He also said that there isn't much keeping the Alfieri off the streets. "The platforms and motors are there. Technically, production could start in 24-28 months," he said. However, Marchionne refused to say whether the company would actually give the concept a green light to be built.
Fiat hopes to be profitable again by 2016, and while its acquisition of Chrysler is certainly going to help, rejuvenating Alfa Romeo and Maserati are also a major part of the plan. In 2013, the Italian luxury brand saw sales more than double to 15,400 vehicles. Maser is still far away from its goal of selling 50,000 units by 2015, but it's quite a start. Fiat bought Maserati in 1993, but business went through a decade or more of doldrums and falling sales. It appears that the century-old brand is finally finding a path forward with some gorgeous new cars.
This Decepticon-themed Maserati ticketed for imitating a police car
Tue, 19 Aug 2014States have different laws about how closely your car can mimic the look of a police car, which this Massachusetts driver might've wanted to have look into. Even though he's driving a Maserati GranTurismo in homage to the Transformer Barricade and it reads "Decepticons" and "To punish and enslave" on the sides - in two places - and a Twitter hashtag for #Halomafia, the police in Braintree, MA, didn't like it.
Watch out now, Decepticons are patrolling Quincy Shore Drive! #quincytweets #quincyma pic.twitter.com/gXMerDS0FS

Maserati confirms Levante SUV for 2015, Alfieri for 2016
Tue, 06 May 2014The Maserati share of the big Fiat Chrysler event today was expected to be something of a snooze, at least relative to the very busy Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Alfa Romeo portions. But the truth is there was plenty to pay attention to where the premium Italian brand was concerned. After all, moving from its 15,400 unit sales in 2013 to a target of 75,000 global sales in 2018 is going to take some doing.
One piece of big news is a shakeup in the existing ranks. 2014 will mark the final year of production for the GranTurismo (and its soft-top counterpart), meaning Maserati will be limited to just its Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans until the Levante SUV arrives in 2015, confirming previous reports. The first SUV to wear the trident, the Levante will only be available with all-wheel drive, but it will boast a Porsche Macan-smiting pair of V6s, with 350 and 425 horsepower, respectively.
Things get back to normal in 2016, as Maserati resumes sports car production with a road-going version of the Alfieri Concept from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Again, this is confirmation of a previous report. That car will be joined by a convertible variant in 2017. It seems like Maser is taking aim at, well, everything with the Alfieri, offering a 410-hp, V6-powered variant that dispatches its power to the rear wheels, to go along with 450- and 520-hp versions of the Alfieri's V6 that will only get their power to the road through an all-wheel-drive system.
