2011 Maserati Granturismo Convertible Sport 4.7l 433hp Immaculate Clean History! on 2040-cars
Birmingham, Alabama, United States
Maserati truly killed it with this brilliant & sexy car!!! By far this is my favorite car that I've ever had the pleasure of driving!!! There's just nothing to complain about, it's sleek & sexy body, LED bi-xenon lights, big sport wheels, red brake calipers, performance, handling, paddle shifters!!!! There is no greater feeling that I've experienced in any automobile than dropping the top, throwing your shades on, cranking the car up with the sport button pushed & the sound that this car makes is just absolutely dominating!!!! I haven't met anyone who doesn't appreciate this car or doesn't have the utmost respect for this Luxurious beauty!!! How happy could you make you're woman by suprising her with this car for Christmas!! I think it'd be safe to say that it would be a great night for you & the best Christmas ever!! Oh yeah & a safe but sure bet that you'd be out of the dog house for a lifetime!!!! There is no price tag you can put on the smiles & joys of owning & driving a machine like this!!! I feel like it's a bit offensive for even calling or labeling it a car because it is light years beyond that word!!! This car has everything you need that comes with it as it does brand new!! Both Keys all of the owners books & manuals, warranty info, original window sticker!!! Original MSRP was $148,930.. This Maserati has very very slightly been used only 3k something miles, no dents, no scratches, no smokers!!! It's like a brand new tuxedo or an elegant evening gown that you've worn only once for a red carpet event!!! It's a sexy well hand crafted & built machine that deserves to be driven with passion!! Maserati truly is excellence through passion!!! Clean Carfax never been wrecked or had any paint or body work or any damage whatsoever!!! This Luxury Sport Convertible demands respect wherever you take it & it has no problem getting it!!! Good luck on the bidding!!!

Why Italians are no longer buying supercars
Wed, 08 May 2013Italy is the wound that continues to drain blood from the body financial of Italian supercar and sports car makers. The wound was opened by the country's various financial police who decided to get serious about superyacht-owning and supercar-driving tax cheats a few years ago, by noting their registrations and checking their incomes. When it was found that a rather high percentage of exotic toy owners had claimed a rather low annual income - certain business owners were found to be declaring less income than their employees - the owners began dumping their cars and prospective buyers declined to buy.
Car and Driver has a piece on how the initiative is hitting the home market the hardest. Lamborghini sold 1,302 cars worldwide in 2010, 1,602 cars in 2011 and 2,083 cars in 2012 - an excellent surge in just two years. In Italy, however, it's all about the ebb: in 2010, the year that Italian police began scouring harbors, Lamborghini sold 96 cars in Italy, the next year it sold 72, last year it sold just 60. The declines for Maserati and Ferrari are even more pronounced.
Head over to CD for the full story and the numbers. What might be most incredible isn't the cause and effect, but where the blame is being placed. A year ago the chairman of Italy's Federauto accused the government of "terrorizing potential clients," this year Luca di Montezemolo says what's happening has created "a hostile environment for luxury goods." Life at the top, it ain't easy.
This Decepticon-themed Maserati ticketed for imitating a police car
Tue, 19 Aug 2014States have different laws about how closely your car can mimic the look of a police car, which this Massachusetts driver might've wanted to have look into. Even though he's driving a Maserati GranTurismo in homage to the Transformer Barricade and it reads "Decepticons" and "To punish and enslave" on the sides - in two places - and a Twitter hashtag for #Halomafia, the police in Braintree, MA, didn't like it.
Watch out now, Decepticons are patrolling Quincy Shore Drive! #quincytweets #quincyma pic.twitter.com/gXMerDS0FS

Marchionne threatens to move Alfa production out of Italy
Fri, 12 Jul 2013Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was unsurprisingly frank when asked by reporters about potential investments in Italian manufacturing for Alfa Romeo and Maserati, giving the Italian government the ultimatum, "Italy should decide if they want [Alfa Romeo's relaunch] to happen here or not as Fiat and Chrysler have several alternatives." Them's fightin' words.
Fiat's issue with the government stems directly from its courtroom clashes with the Fiom labor union. The two are currently embroiled in proceedings over longer shifts and shorter breaks, as Fiom has so far refused to sign a new contract citing revised labor laws that it says are anti-union.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat will be spending over $2.5 billion on development of eight new Alfas and six new Maseratis, in a bid to wrest some of the luxury pie away from BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. But that's only going to happen if the government is willing to play ball and make life easier on Fiat.
