It has the original T 10 4 speed transmission and bell housing with linkage, but no shifter. It is missing the original 401 Nailhead V8, radiator and front bumper. The bumper on the car is from a 67' Skylark and is wrong for this car. The bucket seats are correct for this year, but not original. I have a original steering wheel included in the sale and also have the original transmission cross member. The front left wheel is possibly original to the car. The two rear wheels are Pontiac Ralley II's. The car has a lot of dents (repairable) and there is a little rust in the rear window opening. All in all, this car is very restoreable and very rare."

For Sale: 1966 Buick Skylark Gran Sport two door post coupe. This is a rare Gran Sport with the 4 Speed option and A/C. The 1966 Gran Sport 4 Speed Post Coupe is 1 in 308. Since this car is a factory A/C car with Turquoise Mist paint and white bucket seat interior, it is more like 1 in less than 100. The car is from Nevada and 95% rust free. It lost it's 401 V8 Nailhead long ago, but still has the original 4 speed T10 with bell housing and linkage. The car has not been modified (rough, but original). There are lots of dents and dings but it is a very restoreable car. The other 66' 4 speed car on e-bay is listed for $45K. I think this car is going to go up in value in the near future. The vin is a 446 car. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding. This is a pick-up auction only. If you want it shipped, you arrange. $500 deposit due in 3 days after auction ends.

Maserati introduces Ghibli to Americans in Super Bowl spot

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles aired three commercials during this year's Super Bowl, and the first spot was given to Maserarti during the first quarter of the big game. The 90-second ad was used by Maserati to introduce its new midsize Ghibli luxury sports sedan to a very captive American audience.
Called Strike, the Ghibli commercial tells the familiar tale of the little guy who waits around for the world's giants to let down their guard. Scroll down to watch the spot yourself and let us know if it lives up to the high bar that Chrysler brands have set for themselves in past Super Bowls.

Maserati and Zegna to roll out limited-edition Quattroporte in Frankfurt

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

Back in April, Maserati announced a new partnership with men's clothier Ermenegildo Zegna. We wondered at the time how a Maserati could possibly get any more stereotypically Italian stylish, but now the Modenese automaker is presenting the answer in this fresh take on the new Quattroporte.
When the doors open at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week, Maserati will unveil the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car. That's their name, not ours, and if you're wondering how a production vehicle could be turned at once into both a concept and a limited edition, well... we don't know, either. Maserati says that it previews a production version to follow next year.
So, confusing nomenclature aside, what are we looking at here? For starters, there's a special platinum-color paint finish with tiny aluminum flecks and a gloss-black primer to give it that extra-deep luster. And the interior has been upholstered in "moka" and "greige," with leather seats, door panels and headliner and other surfaces finished in Zegna's own textiles.

Maserati dubs new SUV Levante, new sedan to resurrect Ghibli moniker

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Building on the introduction of the GranCabrio MC that debuted at the Paris Motor Show, Maserati is planning three new models over the next couple of year in an attempt to raise sales to 50,000 units annually by 2015. While we think that that is a pretty lofty goal for a boutique automaker, redesigning its flagship sedan and adding two all-new models in popular segments sounds like a great plan of attack
The first new car we'll see from the Italian automaker is the next generation of the Quattroporte which will be a fitting way to celebrate the car's golden anniversary. We've already seen spy pictures of the new Quattroporte testing as well as a series of patent drawings that reportedly show the car's basic lines. Expect the new Quattroporte out sometime next year with a possible launch at the Detroit Auto Show.
Following the new Quattroporte, we'll finally get to climb behind the wheel of a Maserati SUV... just not the Kubang. Maserati confirmed that its new utility vehicle, based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, will in fact be named the Levante. We already knew that Maserati would definitely not be using the odd Kubang name after this year, but if the Levante name sounds familiar, it's because we previously reported that this name would be used on a sedan slotting in below the Quattroporte.
