2004 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa Coupe 2-door 4.2l on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:42158

Downingtown, Pennsylvania, United States

I am offering my low miles 2004 Maserati Cambiocorsa for sale due to an upcoming career move.  This car is in overall excellent shape and has been a real pleasure to drive on the weekends, and to take out on special nights on the town.  With a 4.2L V8 under the hood delivering 390 HP to the wheels, Maserati rates the Cambiocorsa's top speed at 185 MPH, which is a rating that theoretically could be put to the test with the Pirelli P-Zero tires that I put on her less than 10K miles ago.  A word of caution to the successful bidder, you will have to get used to all of the 911s and M3s that frequently pull up next to this car at stoplights to test her honor when the light turns GREEN.

Note: The passenger side door and fender on this Maserati Coupe was repaired and repainted two years ago due to another driver bumped into her on the highway while trying to change lanes.  The sheet metal was straightened by the best exotic car auto body shop in San Antonio.  No further damage occurred during this mishap.  Take a look at the photos and notice that all of the lines and gaps are per original specs.  Records of the fully warranted repair will be provided to the next owner for full transparency.  An additional note to those considering placing a bid on this Maserati: there are a couple of maintenance milestones coming up for this car in the next 10 to 15K miles (the clutch and brakes).  As the noted maintenance items will be somewhat costly to the new owner, I have set the reserve price well below market value accordingly.

Marchionne threatens to move Alfa production out of Italy

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was unsurprisingly frank when asked by reporters about potential investments in Italian manufacturing for Alfa Romeo and Maserati, giving the Italian government the ultimatum, "Italy should decide if they want [Alfa Romeo's relaunch] to happen here or not as Fiat and Chrysler have several alternatives." Them's fightin' words.
Fiat's issue with the government stems directly from its courtroom clashes with the Fiom labor union. The two are currently embroiled in proceedings over longer shifts and shorter breaks, as Fiom has so far refused to sign a new contract citing revised labor laws that it says are anti-union.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat will be spending over $2.5 billion on development of eight new Alfas and six new Maseratis, in a bid to wrest some of the luxury pie away from BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. But that's only going to happen if the government is willing to play ball and make life easier on Fiat.

Singapore car salesman jailed for gambling away $280k Maserati deposit

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Kenny Rogers' country classic The Gambler is right about two things: you gotta know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em. A former Maserati salesman in Singapore is learning that lesson about when to step away from the table, after being sentenced to 33 months in prison for allegedly gambling away a customer's deposit of 350,000 Singapore dollars ($280,800).
According to Asia One, Allan Tan Buan Yuen was selling a Maserati in 2011. He told the customer that the car would take six months to arrive and cost 650,000 Singapore dollars ($522,000). While that may sound high, cars in the Asian country are notoriously expensive.
Yuen asked for a deposit of 150,000 Singapore dollars ($120,400), but instead of handing the money to the dealer, he placed the funds in his own account. Apparently, the customer didn't notice, and over the next few months Yuen received an additional 200,000 Singapore dollars ($160,400) towards the car from him. Clearly, this ruse couldn't last forever, though. When the buyer eventually inquired about his Maserati months later, Yuen admitted that he had already gambled away the entire fortune.

Maserati Quattroporte suits up with Ermenegildo Zegna [w/video]

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

You know what no one has ever said? The Maserati Quattroporte needs more Italian style. Just the same, Maserati has teamed up with Ermenegildo Zegna to give the QP just that.
Revealed here at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the (deep breath now) Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition Concept. And by "concept", Maserati means it intends to put it into production, likely with very few tweaks over what you see here.
So what do you see here? A QP in a business suit, to sum it up. It's got a beautifully deep bronze paintjob and an interior with the finest wool textile and soft leather upholstery. The lustrous paint repeats on the wheel spokes, and of course some discreet Zegna badges inside and out. The fashion house also worked up some special fitted luggage, as you can see from our gallery of high-resolution photos from the show floor, along with the stock shots, a video and a press release below.
