This truly beautiful 1953 MG TD has undergone a frame off 5 year restoration and is presented in ivory with a new green leather interior and tan top. This is one of the last 77 MG TD's produced. Over $17,000 was spent on replacement and NOS parts alone (with receipts). The undercarriage, chassis and engine compartment are all just as clean as the exterior. It is a true matching numbers car with its original drivetrain. All original tools to include the trouble lamp are included as is the owner’s manual. The car even retains the very rare original pre-sale factory inspection certificate. Every item on the car functions perfectly and it runs and drives exactly as it should. The performance and handling have been independently verified as completely correct by a leading U.S. vintage MG specialist who has performed the final tune up on the rebuilt carburetors.
