Solid, rust-free 1977 MG Midget convertible. All stock and original roadster, with 44K original miles. It spent most of its life as a traveler behind a large Motorhome, thus the fairly low miles ( even for an MG~!). This is a very straight, unrestored roadster that has lived in the West all of its life.

This MG starts right up and runs well. It has the sturdy, gas-sipping 1.5L 4 cylinder engine, which runs very smooth, as it should. No changes or alterations from stock condition other than a carburetor upgrade to a 2V WEBER, a fresh set of new MICHELIN radial tires, a new battery and a rebuilt alternator and a starter. There are NO internal engine noises, knocks, fluid nor exhaust leaks. It is a two-owner vehicle.

It is completely original and unrestored, except for a re-spray once in the last ten years. The body is extremely straight, with NO dents or damage. There is a crease on the finish on the front bonnet, as pictured. The finish is still very shinny throughout the whole car.

Most importantly than anything else, it has a SOLID chassis, rust-free, as well as floorboards, trunk area and body panels.

The interior has held up very well taking into consideration its age. Nice, clean original MG upholstery kit still looks great after all these years. Its original carpeting is nice and clean, with no wear spots or damage. The center of the dash pad has one crack as pictured. Door panels and rear stowage area are also nice and clean. Its original convertible top is sound but has three small cuts on it ( Tops are inexpensive and easy to source on Ebay, for less than $200 brand-new).

Overall, an old classic MG roadster with gentle use. Fun English character for a modest opening bid and no reserve. CLEAR TX title. I still have its custom Tow-bar available ( included with the car FREE if desired).
