this 1974 mg midget was converted to an Austin healey  bugeye sprite 2 years ago , all steel hood and and rear quarter panels were trimmed to fit which require welding , some filler had to be used over welds ,new parts then consisted of grille , front and back turn signal assemblies , brake light assemblies , head light assemblies , emblems, sprite sill plates , door weatherstripping , brand new soft top ,front rotors and pads , a fully rebuilt 1968- 1275 motor was installed with all new clutch parts including clutch slave and master cylinders , new flywheel ring gear and starter as well as new solenoid ,ignition coil and distributor ,car currently has about 950 miles on motor and clutch ,all new bugeye style exhaust system , recovered bugeye   ralley  seats ,new tires on bugeye rims , bugeye shift surround (used) ,there are too many other small parts to mention that were replaced such as new brake light switch, console light assembly etc. etc. ,engine bay is detailed to the max , 2 year old paint is holding up well no runs or orange peel, all electrical very good with all gauges working as they should (new dual gauge) special features are gas charged air shocks for hood ( makes opening and closing of hood a sinch) may be a first , chrome locking gas cap , chrome plated engine parts ,pioneer stereo system with 6-cd stacker ,back-up fuel pump under hood , flush mount antenna ,full conversions are very rare and is far more appealing than an original as they did not have roll up windows ,full rear leaf spring suspension, disc brakes ,trunk lid or the bigger motor , this is a sweet heart of a car that runs and drives very well and I would not hesitate for one minute to drive long distance , it has 80 pounds oil pressure cold and 55-60 when worm, no overheating issues, this is not a 100% show car , but would not take a lot of effort to get it there ,body is not perfect but a once going over could be. original black interior is in nice condition.      PLEASE NOTE TO BUYERS - THIS CAR IS TO BE SOLD TO CANADA AND UNITED STATES ONLY , buyer is responsible for all transporting , customs duty , taxes etc. buyer has 30 days to remove vehical , no deposit is required , but car must be paid in full with in 7 days of auction ending ,payment can be made in cash, money order or bank draft but I will need time for these to clear bank .
