This car was a barn find in 1996. The car had 50,924 miles on it at that time. Considering it was stored for approximately 10 years at that time, I believe the miles are actual, but I cannot guarantee that. The car was orange/red in color and was changed to Old English White, which is an original MG color but not offered on the 1977. The real wire wheels were acid dipped, then powder coated, including the spare. The wiring had been damaged by rodents so the front and middle wiring harnesses were replaced by Medina Motor Sports in Medina, Ohio. They also replaced the rear leaf springs with new ones, installed the new convertible top and a new fuel tank. All 5 tires were put on new, all rubber seals were replaced, new carpet kit for the interior and trunk, new stereo and speakers, new foam in the seats, new exterior mirrors, new badges, new electronic fuel pump and new sun visors. I also put in a mahogany dash and shifter knob. I think it sets the car off. All the gages work including the clock, hazard lights and turn signals. The air pollution control system was removed when I bought it. In Ohio that wasn't an issue because the car is eligible for collector's plates so no e-check is ever needed. The car is still shiny and a real head turner!

I have tried to be as honest as I can be. This car has always started and ran very well. Haven't driven it till today for the last two years. Put a new battery in it, pumped it a few times and it started right up. Drove it around the local school down the street and everything operated with no issues. It has it small chips and flaws but you really have to look to find them. It has never seen rain or snow since 1997 and was kept in the garage covered. It comes with the car cover and the tonneau cover shown in the pictures.

We've gotten older and lost interest. Time for someone else to enjoy this car. This car is 37 years old. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS. THERE ARE NO WARRANTY'S OR GUARANTEE'S OFFERED OR IMPLIED.
