I have owned this MG since 1981. I bought from MG dealer in Canyon Texas, near Amarillo. Car had 6,408 miles when I bought it. Dealer convinced original lady owner that they didn't know the future of parts and service after MG pulled out of US. They also sold Chevrolet and convinced her she need a Corvette so it could be taken care of. Ha! Equiped with factory overdrive and wire spoke knock off wheels. I have installed new 15 inch 60 spoke wheels with Dunlop tires. Wheels and tires have less than 500 miles. Single SU carb conversion installed many years ago. This runs better than original Stromberg or Weber down draft conversion. Emision equipment removed at same time. I have all original emision equipment boxed and will come with car. Original BL AM-FM radio. V8 suspension bushings.This has been very trouble free car. Car has always been in dry part of Texas and garaged. Paint and interior are original except hood which was dented and replaced with new from Moss Motors, recent new carpet and top. Car is very rust free inside and out. Paint has no rust blisters. See picture for worst dent, near left headlight and only tear on interior at right seat back. I have collected and restored British sports cars for 46 years, owned 18, currently have 8. I know how to take care of them. I am Aircraft Mechanic with Inspection Authorization past 41 years. This is a nice driver. It is very straight and original if you want to restore to perfect condition. I will deliver or meet you within a couple hundred miles of Waco Texas for fuel expense. Buyer responsible for shipping and or delivery cost and arrangements. I will be aviable to help load. Selling after all these years because I have bought a World Class Motorsports Ultralite S2K. I need gerage space and can't keep both.
