1975 MG MGB Convertible Roadster. Owned by mature couple all its life. Wife passed away and it has sat for a year. Under a mechanic's care presently. Runs and drives. Owner has all receipts. Original California car with blue and yellow plates. Currently registered with a clear title. Has new battery and fuel pump. Standard disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Body wise the vehicle is 98% percent rust free. Small dent on the hood and more prominent one on the right rear quarter panel. Top is in decent shape except for a small tear by the where the boot meets the metal on the left rear side. Also the back plastic window is yellowing. Paint is definitely faded, but appears to be original. 132,007 original miles. 4 speed transmission. Alpine am/fm stereo with cassette. Radio works, didn't have a tape to test the deck. It also has the weirdly standard three wiper design. There is a crack in metal behind the sideview mirrors. A very common design problem. The passenger side seems to have a spot weld on the crack. Windows roll up and down fine, though the driver side seemed a little tougher. Glass is appears to be all the way around with no cracks or chips though there are some light scratches on the windshield. All lights, turn signals work. Owner will fix the back up lights since they didn't work when I tested them. Interior looks okay. Seats didn't appears to have any rips or tears and covered with old sheepskin covers. Both door panels on the inside have tears near the window crank as well as a seam tear on the center console lid. It appears that all the gauges work too. There is also a tear horizontally on the boot of the shifter. Car would be a great project to fix up. And with soaring gas prices and great collectible that gets decent mileage.
