KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS, offers for sale here on Ebay, a 1967 MGB Roadster with wire wheels. This year for the B is generally considered the most desirable. The body, interior, and chrome trim still retain the early clean looks of the original design. The high compression engine now has the improved and more durable five main bearing crankshaft. The gearbox is still the non-synchromesh first gear unit, which is in keeping with the charm of the early cars.

This car was found a few years ago in a barn in Bakersfield, California. It was a running and driving car ten years prior. The car was stored due to the owner's health problems. The car appears to be very original and in decent condition for a straightforward restoration.

Mechanically, the car is very original and complete with it's correct engine. The mileage reads 43,701 which could very well be accurate. The engine will turn over by hand or by putting the car in gear with a push. The rest of the drivetrain's condition is unknown, but appears original and complete. The gearbox will shift through all the gears. The original air cleaners are present.

Bodily, the car has a decently solid and straight shell with some typical rust-through in the rear doglegs and some rust cracks just starting in the front floors. The rockers and front fenders on both sides appear nice and solid. The trunk floor is good. The previous owner relocated a 12V battery to the trunk compartment. The pan in front of the radiator has been modified to most likely clear an auxilary cooling fan at some point in it's life. All of the panels open and shut OK, with decent alignment. There is a period luggage rack installed on the trunk lid.

The interior is original, but has mostly deteriorated and needs a full retrim, as evident by the photos. The original gauges and dashboard switchgear appear OK. The seats are the correct and original ones. The top frame sticks could use some straightening. The car has a non-standard steering wheel. The car rolls and steers fine for transport.

It is sold with a clear and current CA title. This car is available for inspection and can be viewed in Southern California. $3,950.
