1960 MGA ROADSTER

If you’re in the market for a MGA to restore, here is a wonderful opportunity. Sold as found, this little MGA roadster was in the middle of a restoration when the family ran into issues and sold the car to me.

The car has fabulous sheet metal and absolutely no body filler or rust issues found. The original drivetrain is in the car and complete and the engine turns freely.

The car was painted many years ago, then just stored. The paint does have some scratches here and there from storage, but very straight. The past owner said no body work was needed before it was painted.

There are two tops, a hardtop and original convertible top frame. There is a new carpet kit, and door panels, and lots of new rubber. The seats were recovered too!

There are new old stock taillight lens and other NOS parts. Even the original Motorola radio is here and all the gauges.

The transmission box goes through the gears and feels tight. Not sure of the brakes and clutch.

The car comes with a clear Texas title and everything I have. The only things known missing are the hubcaps, headlights, headlight buckets and rear taillight housings. The past owner is still searching for the box.

PAYMENT AND STORAGE

A $500 deposit is required from the winning bidder, due electronically via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends, to hold the vehicle. I do not accept Paypal for payments over $500. Deposits only. I will not be accepting trades. Respectfully, please bid responsibly by having any required financing in place before committing to purchase the vehicle as full payment is due within 7 days of auction end via cash or certified bank check (drawn on a major US bank). I can hold the vehicle for 15 days at no charge to the winning bidder after the auction (the charge is $15.00 per day after 15 days unless other arrangement made). I apologize in advance, but bidders with zero feedback will have their bids canceled, no matter what the amount, unless you contact me in advance of bidding. Bidders outside North America (anywhere other than the US, Canada, or Mexico “mainland”) are welcome to bid, but also must phone me before bidding.
