Up for auction is a sweet 1960 MGA Coupe. In 1960 MG built just 1452 MGA 1600 coupe's. At that time MG's were the car of choice for the sport's car guy's. The coupe addressed the winter time problem of freezing to death and getting soaked in a drafty leaky convertible. You know...the one's the other English car builder's made. So they made this stunning little coupe. These were alot more money than the convertibles. And they are quite an amazing little car, zippy 1600cc 4 cylinder, with the soothing sound from the SU carb's, and the "snick thru the gear's" 4 speed manual gearbox. With it's cool wire spoked steering wheel connected to a quick, tight manual steering box you can take ' m lady out for a evening drive and not mess up her hair!  Well made tight body and almost rattle free construction, unheard of in an olde British car. Plus they are very rare. This is a no rust ever California car, and it's never been in an accident either. How many of these can there be left?  Look at the photo's...this is a frame off restoration with a powder coated frame. Take your mirror's to the show's and let'm see the bottom of this jewel. The 1600 has been totally rebuilt with new +0.20 piston's and the gearbox has new syncro's, bearing's n 'ring's. So you can break this new "old" car in. It is finished in a top flight bare metal up British Racing Green PPG "concept" single stage urethane finish. This was hand sanded and polished to a superb gloss. Guess what....no clear coat to peel and fall off. New Moss Motor's biscut leather upholstery with Wilton wool carpet's ($900.00 for the carpet material alone) it's even in the trunk! New glass, new rubber, new wiring harness, new chrome everything except the door handles. Couldn't chance them getting broke at the chrome shop so they are original. Look at the headliner, window rubber's & window chrome. Time spent on a quality little car. Stainless steel exhaust, 60 spoke wire wheel's, and new radial tire's. Money's not bring'n nothing in interest, and the dollar's buying power is shrinking fast. Good time to put into a "hard" asset.
