2010 Storm Titanium Metallic with charcoal full leather interior Lotus Evora 2+2 in excellent condition. Original sticker price: $85,125. Just serviced at Secor Lotus in New London including new tires, so it's good to go until the next 10k service. All warrantee work complete. If you're familiar with these cars, you know Lotus had problems with defective dash, airbag cover, and sill leather, as well as delaminating headlights. All of these issues have been addressed with factory supplied upgraded replacement parts. Options include Tech pack, Premium pack, and Sport pack, Sport mode and Sport ratio 6 speed manual transmission. Also fitted with a reversing camera and back up warning indicator, heated mirrors Star Shield, keyless entry and remote hatch release, ipod docking in glove box, touchscreen CD, MP3, satellite radio with navigation, and Homelink garage door opener. Upgraded mats, indoor Lotus branded dust cover and hardwired battery tender included. I have all books, receipts and 2 keys. Former CEO Bahar files $10.6M suit against Lotus

Fired Lotus CEO Dany Bahar is reportedly suing his former employers for some $10.6 million, claiming that the automaker and its Malaysian owner, DRB, broke the law when they dismissed him. According to a report by Bloomberg Businessweek, DRB and Lotus will defend themselves in court rather than settling, including filing a countersuit against the former top executive.
Bahar, 40, was canned on June 7, about two weeks after Lotus suspended him pending an investigation into his conduct. The report cites a Kuala Lumpur stock exchange filing as its source of the information; the filing also indicates that DRB has decided against selling Lotus, despite continuing losses.
Race Recap: 2013 German Grand Prix is old beginnings, new endings [spoilers]
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Just like at Silverstone last weekend, the German Formula One Grand Prix started with Lewis Hamilton putting his Mercedes-AMG Petronas on pole. The only thing missing at the pointy end of the grid was his teammate Nico Rosberg, who lined up beside him in England but back in 11th in Germany because of a team error in qualifying. So instead it was Vettel in the first Infiniti Red Bull in second, his teammate Mark Webber in third, the Lotus duo of Kimi Räikkönen and Romain Grosjean.
Again, just like at Silverstone - and Canada - Daniel Ricciardo used his magic beans to impress with the Toro Rosso, lining up in sixth, followed by Felipe Massa in the first Ferrari, Fernando Alonso in the second. Jenson Button in the McLaren, Nico Hülkenberg finished up the top ten.
When the lights went green, it didn't take long for the race to become a black-and-blue affair...
New Lotus owners ditch ambitious five-year plan
Thu, 26 Jul 2012This didn't take long. The new overlords at Lotus have reportedly scrapped the company's five-year plan. DRB-Hicom ditched the turnaround strategy, penned by ousted CEO Danny Bahar, because it believes the market viewed the plan as overly ambitious.
The new product plan will slim the number of new model lines from five to three, and Lotus will likely slash the number planned consultants in favor of relying more heavily on in-house talent. According to The Star, the move should help expedite product development and save cash at the same time.
Even so, nothing is written in stone as of yet. DRB-Hicom says the new plan will take up to a year to finalize. The company has dumped around $242 million into Lotus so far this year, and the struggling automaker may require another $121 million by 2013. Lotus all but stopped production earlier this year during a loan freeze, but the lights came back on in April. The company now produces around 44 vehicles per week.
