Low Mileage Lincoln Limousine

2009 DaBryan Coachbuilder

64" 24-Hour Style 6-Door Limousine

We are offering up for auction a highly desireable low mileage Lincoln Limousine. This limouisne has always been garaged and has only seen funeral service. How many 2009 Lincoln limousines have you seen for sale with only 40,000 miles?

A 24-Hour style limosuine is a term used in the funeral  industry for a vehicle in which the seats can be configured at your will. The center seat in this limousine is what is comonly called a "flip seat". At your choice the center row seat can face forward. This allows all passengers to face forward and is most  useful when transporting senior citizans or those who get car sick when riding backwards.

In less then a minute, the center seat can be flipped into a rear facing position. With the center row facing rear it is set up like a normal, non-funeral, 6-passenger limousine with conference style seating. All of the rear cabin occupants face eachother. There is plenty of legroom when the seat is facing rear.

With the center row seat facing forward there is incredible amounts of legroom. This is due to the fact that there is no partition/divider between the rear cabin and the front seat area. Nobody will ever feel clautrophobic in this limousine!

The rear cabin has it's own air conditining unit and the control for it is located in the driver's compartment. Due to being a six-door configuration, this vehicle new cost significantly more then a 120" Lincoln filled with tv's, bars, and stereos.

This vehicle can remain in funeral service or be used for executive transportation, airport service, nights-on-the-town, shuttle service, or any other work that requires a highly presentable, comfortable, dignified vehicle. This vehicle is priced very closely to what you would pay for a non-stretched Lincoln-L!!!!

Need more then one limo? We have a second identical limousine available too!

NOT SO SMALL BUT SMALL PRINT: We are offering this vehicle for a valued client of ours. It is still in funeral use and the milege may be slightly more then what is shown due to being in funeral service. Since it is still in service, it is not located at our dealership. This vehicle is located in the New Haven, CT area. It may be shown by appointment only! Please contact us if you have any  questions, comments, or concerns BEFORE bidding. We urge you to visit, examine, and road test the vehicle before you bid. Payment in full is due at the end of the auction, so unless you have funds ready please do not bid. Shipping is available, but not included in the price.

Why Lincoln says it's loving Ellen and Conan MKC ad spoofs [w/videos]

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

You would think that commercial being ridiculed across the Internet would be an advertising executive's worst nightmare, but that's not necessarily the case. At least not when it comes to Lincoln and its latest campaign to promote the new MKC.
The campaign features Matthew McConaughey channeling his characters from True Detective and The Lincoln Lawyer, and was quickly spoofed by both Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. But instead of shaking their heads in dismay at the comedy talk-show hosts' take on their ad, Lincoln and its advertising firm Hudson Rouge welcome the free publicity.
"We're flattered. Just to get out into the public mind with parodies says you've achieved a certain amount of notoriety," Hudson Rouge CCO Jon Pearce told Automotive News. "It's hard to put a dollar amount on earned media. We couldn't ask for better."

Mulally wanted to kill Lincoln as late as last year, Fields vows to turn it around

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Lincoln fans might want to give incoming Ford CEO Mark Fields a pat on the back for having a hand in saving the brand from the chopping block last year. He's among the people spearheading the rejuvenation of the division away from its stodgy image to appeal to younger customers.
According to two unnamed sources speaking to Bloomberg, CEO Alan Mulally was ready to kill Lincoln last year. Following the slow production ramp-up of the MKZ combined a with a costly ad campaign, Mulally was frustrated and openly suggested dropping the brand. However, Fields and Jim Farley, Ford's marketing boss, convinced the CEO that the brand was worth saving. They also created a plan to prevent similar problems for new models in the future.
It seems that one part of the strategy may involve waiting until new models are at dealers before starting a big ad campaign for them. Lincoln global director, Matt VanDyke, recently told Autoblog that the division is holding off on a full marketing push behind the new MKC crossover to prevent the supply problems that plagued the MKZ last year. Its big offensive begins in the fall when the CUVs are at all of the dealers and consumers are at home watching more TV. VanDyke also told Bloomberg that Fields, Farley and Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, have more direct oversight over new product launches now.

2013 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost

A Bench-Warmer In Waiting
I hail from Cleveland, and that means I'm familiar with sports franchises that are always falling short of championships. The Indians, the Browns, the Cavs - they've all come close, but being a resident of C-Town means learning to appreciate the effort more than a reward that never seems to come. So I can appreciate the situation in which Lincoln finds itself today, one where the past is full of repeated attempts to be competitive, and looming on the future's horizon is the next hope on which everything hinges.
That next hope for Lincoln is not the car you see here, but rather the smaller, all-new 2013 MKZ sedan. Like LeBron James entering Gund Arena for the first time, the MKZ will enter dealerships this fall as the brand's chosen savior, markedly more stylish, advanced and desirable than anything offered by Lincoln in recent memory. And that would make this car, the 2013 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost, one of the other 20 guys whose names I can't remember who played alongside LeBron during his rookie season.
