Up for Auction is a Beautiful 2001 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. This Car Only has 33561 Original One Owner Miles!! It was bought New in Palm Beach Florida and was used as a car primarily in in Florida for an older couple who were Snowbirds between New Jersey and Florida. In 2006 they came back to the East Coast and re registered the car in New Jersey with 22800 miles. They were older and Did not really drive much, either in Florida or New Jersey. From 2006 till today they did not even put 10,000 miles on the car. The husband recently passed away and the car is too big for the wife to drive. The car is a loaded Signature Series with a Carriage Roof. Besides a few scratches (most of which have been touched up) and maybe a door ding or two the car is in Excellent shape!! I took pictures of most of the scratches. There is also a very small spot on the top of the drivers Rear door on the Carriage roof that has some wear on the lip. Again I have a picture of it. It has Brand New Michelin tires that cost them over 1,000 dollars installed. The car drives like NEW!! It needs NOTHING except for a new caring owner! It is Fully Equipped with all the Luxury options you would expect from a Lincoln. The Air Conditioning is Ice Cold! Everything works as it should! There a NO Surprises with this Lincoln! It is barely even broken in! You see these cars all the time with 300,000 Plus Miles, this one only has 33561! The only option it does not have is a Sunroof! It has all of the other options including Power Pedals and a Wood and Leather Steering wheel. The interior is in very nice shape with no holes or rips. You must see and drive this car to appreciate it!! I am listing this car for the family of the original owner. You will be buying the car directly from them. The car really drives like a dream and has always been maintained at the dealer! If you are looking for a car like this you would be hard pressed to find and original one with such low miles! If you have any questions or are in the NJ NY Metropolitan area and would like to see and drive it feel free to call me at 646 302 9900. Lincoln MKX Concept goes for the gold in Beijing
Sun, 20 Apr 2014We've now seen the Lincoln MKX Concept in the metal, and we've shot it with the lenses of our own DSLR cameras. And we have to say, our opinion of the concept's design language has improved over our initial reaction. Yes, it's clear that this MKX shares its underpinnings with those of the Ford Edge Concept that we saw in LA, but the changes made by Lincoln stylists are a welcome departure from the angular lines of its corporate cousin from The Blue Oval.
We like the subtlety of the MKX Concept's front fascia, and the lighting elements both front and rear lend a luxurious quality to the crossover's typical two-box proportions. When combined with the smaller MKC that was shown in production form late last year, it's clear to see that Lincoln has a specific design direction that at least seems visually capable of setting it apart from the Ford models with which the brand shares its platforms. Here's hoping there are some Lincoln-specific upgrades underhood...
Have a look at our image gallery of live photos from Beijing above, reread the press release below, and feel free to let us know what you think.

Lincoln says MKZ supply crisis over
Mon, 25 Mar 2013After an excessive number of recalls on the 2013 Escape and Fusion, we can't really fault Ford for being a little extra cautious with the launch of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. Last month, we reported that dealer supply of the car was extremely limited due to more attention being paid to quality checks of cars rolling off the assembly line, which led to a 73-percent drop in MKZ sales from last year on top of a 32-year low in monthly sales for Lincoln in January.
The reason for the delay was that the sedans were being shipped from the Hermosillo, Mexico assembly plant to be inspected even closer at Ford's Flat Rock, Michigan plant before they were able to head to dealers. Things seem to be straightening out for Lincoln and the MKZ's production now, as Automotive News is reporting that supply should be up to a "normal level" by the end of this month.
