2008 Lincoln Navigator Base Sport Utility 4-door 5.4l on 2040-cars
Alva, Florida, United States
2008 Lincoln Navigator... I am the original owner and have driven and maintained this vehicle since new. This beautiful 8 passenger SUV is fully loaded with heated and cooled power leather seats, has a 3rd the row power fold down leather seat. 6 speed automatic transmission, Ice cold dual air conditioning, power moonroof, roof rack, navigation system, rear seat entertainment system, power running boards, back up camera, power windows and locks, power lift gate and more. to much to list, (see the picture of the original manufactures sticker). The color is white chocolate tri-coat with camel leather interior, adult driven, 125k highway miles and still runs and looks like new, I paid $63,200.00 new off of the showroom floor with a set of 24 inch rims and tires. I have changed back to the original stock rims but still have the 24 inch rims and tires and will include them with a bid of 10% above the reserve. This will make someone a great vehicle at a fraction of its original cost.

Farley says Lincoln learnings in China could influence brand in US
Tue, 14 May 2013Automotive News reports Lincoln is looking to Chinese luxury shoppers for customer service ideas. Those notions may eventually make their way back to the US in the form of new dealership training. Jim Farley, the executive vice president of global marketing for Ford, tells Automotive News, "In many ways, China will be a listening post for Lincoln in the United States. Soon China will be the largest luxury market in the world." Farley also said that in China, the Lincoln brand is currently where Lexus was when the Japanese brand first landed in the US.
Lincoln is slated to open its first Chinese dealerships in 2014. The brand is largely unknown in Asia, and Lincoln representatives have been visiting other luxury dealers in China for an idea of what buyers there expect. Lincoln has also studied non-automotive luxury shopping, paying special attention to high-end retail branding.
Of course, this whole song and dance feels awfully familiar. Lincoln has focused heavily on remaking the brand and recrafting its marketing here in the States, thus far without sufficient product to back the play. Lincoln is already late to the China game, and without the necessary products to lure buyers away from established bodies like Buick and Cadillac, Lincoln may be doomed to repeat its fate here in the US.
Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion
Thu, 30 Oct 2014After the horrible weather last winter, it's hard to look forward for the season to return this year. For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.
Never mind the naysayers; Lincoln is worth saving

In the case of Henry Leland, naming his new car brand after the first President he cast a vote for in 1864 seemed a jolly good idea, on paper.
You should always be careful about the name you choose to give your new baby. The power of association can work in many ways, not always positive.
