1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC Special Edition

From what I was told I am the 3rd owner of this great soon to be classic Luxury/Muscle car. It has been babied by by the previous 2 owners, and now by me. It is in all original condition except for the fresh black paint (painted a month ago)! NO Bondo work on this vehicle! The body was in excellent shape other than the typical Ford/Lincoln Paint fade/oxidation, which is now something you don't have to worry about! The previous owner stored it over the winters on jacks to keep the air bag suspension off the ground...and it still rides like a dream!

Details:

-Just under 87,000 all original miles
-All Original except for the following replaced parts
Brand New Full Stock Exhaust (a little over a year ago)
Both power window motors replaced (3 months ago)
Passenger Side Power Door Lock Actuator Replaced 3 Months Ago (Drivers side runs strong)
Brakes and Tune Up Done a Little Less than 2 Years ago (less than 2000 miles since)
                Front Door speakers (both sides)
-Fresh Black Paint With Double Clear Coat
-Fresh 3M Tint Professionally Installed
-Engine Runs Strong and Has a Great Sound
-Air Suspension Ride is Great
-All 4 Original LSC Wheels (slight flaking on a few)
-Moon-Roof that works perfectly
-Black Leather Interior that is in Great Shape! (One rip in the drivers side, Passenger side and Back Seat Near Perfect)
-Power Antenna Works Perfectly
-Power Mirrors Work Perfectly
-Original Marchal Fog Lights with covers (currently not working)
-Only Premium Gas Used

Only Issues:

-Needs new A/C compressor
-Drivers side power seat will do everything but move forward/back (Its in a good position for me, which is why I never looked into it. Could just be a track obstruction)
-Passenger side power seat will do everything except incline
-Arm rest has an elbow wear mark (pictured)
-Fog Lights don't work, but I never really looked into them either (still have original Marchal Covers)
-Trip Computer doesn't work

Other than those few minor things the car is great, and I get a lot of comments/head turns!

These are the slowest-selling new cars of 2024

Fri, Apr 26 2024

While overall sales numbers are a solid indicator of an automaker’s success, another metric can show how well its new vehicles resonate with buyers on the ground. iSeeCars recently released a list of the fastest- and slowest-selling new car companies on the market, and a handful of brands appear to have some catching up to do. Lincoln landed the “top spot” among slow-selling brands, taking an average of 82.6 days to move inventory. Infiniti wasnÂ’t much better, at 79.8 days, and Buick came third with 79 days to sell.  Slowest-selling new cars of 2024 Lincoln: 82.6 days to sell Infiniti: 79.8 Buick: 79 Audi: 75.1 Ram: 69.7 Ford: 68.1 Dodge: 67.4 GMC: 66.6 Acura: 65.4 Lexus: 64.5 iSeeCars executive analyst Karl Brauer noted that the fastest-selling brands, which include Toyota, Alfa Romeo, and Cadillac, likely move inventory because they resonate with buyersÂ’ desire for value and a compelling product. The study also noted that seeing GMC, Ford, and Ram so low on the list likely indicates slowing truck sales, which comprise a significant portion of those brandsÂ’ numbers. ItÂ’s also possible that buyers are turned off by higher prices from those brands. Fast-selling new car brands also appeared on the used car list, where Honda, Lexus, and Toyota dominated. Unfortunately for Lincoln, it also made the slow-selling used list, between Maserati as the slowest and Alfa Romeo in third. iSeeCarsÂ’ analysis also examined EV and hybrid sales and found that hybrids tend to sell much faster than their electric counterparts. In March 2024, new hybrids took an average of 49.5 days to sell, while EVs took 70.6 days. That again brings us to the price and value arguments, where hybrids are significantly less expensive than EVs, though charging and range concerns also likely play a role. Lincoln Corsair's grille is growing in spy photos

Tue, Jul 19 2022

We've recently seen the refreshed Ford Escape in spy photos, and it appears its luxurious platform mate, the Lincoln Corsair, is getting a refresh, too. It's a significantly more modest restyle, with one exception: The Corsair is getting a bigger grille. Yes, like so many other makes and models, Lincoln is updating its little SUV with a big grille. The width and even the shape aren't that different than the current model. But it's taller, having been stretched downward into the front bumper. It may now have a thicker lower chrome bar like the Navigator. Besides the grille, the rest of the Corsair looks nearly unchanged. Even the headlights look the same as the current model. The rear is also the same. Photos don't show the interior, but expect that to be generally the same, too, possibly with a larger infotainment screen. With how mild this refresh is, we expect it will be revealed this year as a 2023 model. The Corsair should retain its full range of powertrains including the standard turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder, optional turbo 2.3-liter four-cylinder, and plug-in hybrid 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder. McConaughey's bizarre new Continental ad is perfect parody material

Tue, Dec 20 2016

So let's say you're running a car company and have a luxurious new flagship sedan and need to advertise it. What do you do? Did you answer with "film a commercial with a barely coherent Hollywood actor standing in a pond?" If so, perhaps you work for Lincoln, which brought back Matthew McConaughey to do another bizarre car ad. It starts with McConaughey and a Continental standing on a body of water. He starts talking about staring (or not staring) at the Conti, and then about sitting in the back seat (or not). The ad then cuts to McConaughey in the back who replies to the McConaughey in the front seat. Presumably, there are two McConaugheys at this point, and the front seat one just laughs in a slightly unsettling manner. He then makes a clicking noise, closes the center console and drives away. You can't make this stuff up. It's thoroughly strange, but we can't say we're entirely surprised. When Lincoln first launched some bizarre ads with McConaughey muttering sweet nothings about the MKC, the company got loads of attention. Admittedly a lot of that attention was to make fun of it, but you know the old saying that there's no such thing as bad press. Lincoln even brought him back for an encore in ads for the MKX and MKZ. In truth, we're also glad to see another bizarre Lincoln ad, mostly because we're hoping for another round of great parodies like the classic Jim Carrey spoof that aired on Saturday Night Live. Check out the ad above to see the strangeness. Related Video:
