1982 Lincoln Mark VI Coupe

I have a nice 1982 Lincoln Mark VI Coupe up for auction with under 80K actual miles. Pulled an Autocheck and mileage is verified legit. I bought this car with intentions of having it around for a while but now I have no room for it. I would like for it to go to someone with the same passion as me for these older Lincolns.

When I bought it I did some work to get it as near perfect (to me) as I could. Spent a lot of extra time and money on it doing so. This car will go anywhere you want it to! Drives awesome and gets plenty of looks.

The Car:

Burgundy on Burgundy Int.
5.0L CFI 302 CID V8
New Tires
New Front Brake Lines and Pads
Rebuilt Alternator (100 amp)
New Water Pump
New Radiator and Cap
New Fuel Pressure Regulator
In-Dash CD/MP3 Player (Also Have Original Radio)
New Set of Rear Air Shocks
134A Conversion
PIAA Fog Lights
All Power Options Work (Seats, Windows, Locks Keyless Entry, Ect.)
Clean Texas Title
Current Tags and Inspection

The Flaws:

I give the paint a 7 out of 10 rating. I just 3 stage color sanded the paint with a compound/wax/seal treatment.. Looks a ton better than it did when I got the car but it is not perfect in any way.
The Interior is nice but has normal wear. I'd say a 7 out of 10 Rating... See pics.
The Cruise Control does not work. The steering wheel was replaced with a new unit and the contacts do not line up in the wheel. I have the original wheel that does allow it to work.
The light covers vacuum module/canister must have a slow leak. The doors operate as normal but sometimes open overnight on their own.
Headliner is faded but not falling. If it were me, I'd leave it be..
Vinyl roof has small cracks in places. Not tearing but small weather cracks in various places.
I would replace the window seals. You can hear a slight wind noise when cruising. Not leaking though..
When you first press the brake pedal after starting up the car, the diagnostic computer says "Brakelamp Out" .. It's not but it still reads it for some reason.

I'm telling you this is one solid car.

I would not hesitate to drive it coast to coast.

If you desire more pictures, I can send as many as you like.

I can arrange for shipping and delivery of this vehicle for an extra charge. Please email me with details so I can generate a specific quote for you.

I reserve the right to end auction due to local sale. If the leading auction member is willing to offer the same amount I have it pending for locally, I will finish the auction and cancel the local sale.

Good Luck!!!!!!!

2019 Lincoln Nautilus First Drive Review | A refresh that's more than skin deep

Fri, Sep 21 2018

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Its name is new, but the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is really a rebranded, restyled and updated version of the second-generation Lincoln MKX, which has been on sale since 2016. Renaming your bestselling vehicle is risky, but Lincoln has been struggling, and it feels the names of its vehicles are partly to blame. Recall that since 2007, Ford's luxury brand has used letters to name some models, including MKZ and MKX, and traditional names on others like Navigator and Continental. Well, now it's ditching the letters and renaming those vehicles. The MKX is now the Nautilus. The smaller MKC is rumored to become the Corsair, which was a name used by Edsel back in the 1950s. The seven-passenger Aviator will go on sale in 2019, and the MKZ's new name is anybody's guess. Zephyr again, maybe? NordicTrack is already taken. Lincoln has also been rolling out a new grille design, which debuted on the Continental in 2017 and replaces the unloved winged look that was supposed to remind luxury buyers of the elegance of the 1939 Lincoln Continental — but didn't. Fitting the new grille to the 2019 Nautilus completes that rollout, and the five-passenger SUV is certainly more handsome than before. Its mesh is a repetition of the Lincoln Star logo, and it works. The SUV's front fascia, headlamps and hood are new as well, and the hood has grown a sizable and attractive center peak. Underneath that hood is a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with direct injection. It's the same engine used in the smaller MKC and the Ford Edge, which shares the Nautilus' chassis, but Lincoln doesn't use the name EcoBoost for this and its other powerplants. The 2.0-liter replaces the naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6 as the standard engine, and it's rated 250 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm on 93 octane fuel. Those numbers are down from the V6, which was rated 303 hp at 6,500 rpm and 278 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. But Lincoln has also replaced the antiquated six-speed automatic transmission with an eight-speed, so overall performance is comparable, and city fuel economy is up significantly. With the V6 and front-wheel drive, the MKX was rated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. The new combination has a 21 mpg city rating. The considerably more powerful twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 remains optional, rated 335 hp at 5500 rpm and 380 lb-ft of torque at 3250 rpm.

Lincoln video teases new things to come... but what?

Sun, 02 Dec 2012

Lincoln has released a new video teasing... something. In what looks to be an advertisement for more advertising, the company has worked up a clip featuring everything from a drum solo and a flying hawk to Abraham Lincoln himself. The video shows a few shots of what looks to be an MKZ and promises more news is coming on Monday.
What does the company have up its sleeves? Rumors are bouncing around the web like so many ill-informed ping-pong balls, and cover everything from an alternative powertrain for the MKZ to a new two-door model - noise that is underscored by the presence of a Ford Mustang chassis lurking in the background of the video around the 27-second mark (see screen capture above).
Could Lincoln be considering a rear-wheel drive luxury coupe built on the pony's bones? A move like that seems awfully unlikely, but it certainly wouldn't hurt our feelings. Either way, we'll find out more tomorrow. In the interim, check out the teaser video below for yourself.

Lincoln MKC configurator comes alive

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Lincoln has already announced most of the trim level and option pricing for its upcoming 2015 MKC due out this summer, and now it has launched a configurator allowing prospective buyers to get a better idea of how this new model will stack up against other compact luxury crossovers. We already knew that the MKC will have a starting price of $33,995, but now we know that its price includes a destination charge of $895.
Models equipped with the base 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine come standard with the Premiere package - $33,100 for front-wheel drive and $35,595 for all-wheel drive. Both models offer equipment upgrades from the Select and Reserve packages. The $3,230 Select package adds features like leather seats, power passenger seat, folding and heated door mirrors and painted 18-inch wheels, while the pricier $6,935 Reserve package adds in heated and cooled front seats, panoramic roof, hands-free liftgate, two-tone wheels and an embedded modem (providing features such as remote lock and unlock, vehicle finder and pre-conditioning).
Opting for the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline-four raises the base price to $39,965, and it comes standard with all-wheel drive and all of the equipment in the Select package; the Reserve package is still optional. All models can be further optioned up with the $2,235 Technology Package (adding adaptive cruise, active park assist and lane keeping system) and the $580 Climate Package (heated rear seats and steering wheel, auto high beams and rain-sensing wipers). Checking all the options, a fully loaded 2015 MKC with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost will have a total MSRP of $47,715.
