The car has a rebuilt title. It is clear of any leins and may be transfered to any state in the U.S. just like a Regular.
History of the car;
I bought this car 20,000 miles ago. I am a real estate agent here in Northern Michigan, and used this to show properties.
The car was in an accident before I aquired it. I bought the car and had the Hood, chrome grill & Headlights replaced. The front fenders
are original and have no dents. The hit was light. I did not have to replace the bumper cover though there is a mark on the front where it hit
the hitch of the truck in front of it. NO COMPONENTS ON THE ENGINE, OR SUSPENSION WERE HARMED. Air bags were NOT deployed! You would
not know this car was rebuilt unless you were told. The best testimate to this is I put a new set of Michelins on it, and almost 20,000 miles later,
there is no uneven wear on the tires. Everything functions as it should. All options work great. I value my feedback so if there are any questions
what so ever, please send me a message before bidding.
Condition;
The interior still smells new. I never let anyone smoke in it, I kept the carpets clean and used winter mats. They are in good condtion, and show well.
There are 3 areas that have damage. The bumper cover as mentioned. It is not that noticable from a distance which is why I did not spend the $400
extra to fix it. It looks more like a scuff than anything else. The C pillar has a dent in it from being backed into by someone with materials sticking
out of his pick-up truck. The last is I took a stone chip while on a road trip last week, and the windshield split before I could even get it home due to
our winter temps. It will need a glass. It still had the original Ford Glass in it. I can have this done for you before you pick it up if you choose, Auto
Glass Specialists are right down the road. Everything else looks good for a low mileage car. There are no scratches or scrapes that I can see.
The car is wonderful. You will not be dissapointed. Unlike other rebuilt cars, this one has been on the road and proven to not have any troubles.
I dont believe this is missing any options for 2008. I am selling due to the fact that I bought a 7 passenger SUV which helps me at my job when I have
kids along. There are no service lights on at all. Again, if you have any questions for me, please ask before you bid!
If you have no feedback, I need to talk to you so I know that you understand the process. My name is Brian, and other than e-mail.
I can be reached at (520) 490-9261. Thank you.

Junkyard Gem: 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC
Sun, Jun 27 2021The Lincoln Division put the Continental Mark VI on the Panther platform for the 1980 through 1983 model years, making it much smaller than its vast Mark V predecessor but not much nimbler and certainly not as opulent. For the 1984 model year, though, the new Continental Mark VII moved onto the Fox platform, making it sibling to the Mustang and therefore more of a true high-performance luxury coupe. By 1986, the Continental name was gone from the Mark VII (relegated to Lincoln's cushy land yachts), and the LSC version came with the same hairy V8 as the Mustang GT. Today's Junkyard Gem is one of those cars, found in a Denver yard last month. For the 1988 model year, the base Mark VII got the axe, leaving only the Bill Blass Edition and the LSC. Sadly, the Bill Blass Mark VII didn't come with an inflatable Sherman tank. For 1988, all Mark VIIs came with the 225-horsepower 5.0-liter High Output V8 engine, same as the Mustang GT. Could you get a manual transmission? Sadly, you could not. Swapping one into one of these cars is pretty easy, but the more likely swap has always been to grab the 5.0 out of a Mark VII and drop it into a non-V8 Fox Mustang. If you were shopping for a BMW 5-Series or Mercedes-Benz E-Class in 1988, the Mark VII offered an attractive Detroit alternative. The 1988 LSC cost $25,016 (about $58,200 in 2021 bucks), while a new BMW 528e cost $31,500 and had a mere 127 horsepower. The M5 had a wild six with 256 horses— 31 more than the Mark VII— but it cost a terrifying $46,500. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz 260E offered just 158 horses and cost $37,250. Granted, both of the Germans offered manual transmissions, but approximately zero American luxury-car buyers actually wanted three pedals by the late 1980s. Truth be told, this car looked like a great value next to its Teutonic competitors at the time, more so than GM's and Chrysler's efforts of the late 1980s. Not quite 150,000 miles on the clock on this one. The Mark series continued through the Mark VIII and then that's all she wrote, Katie bar the door. This content is hosted by a third party. Lincoln putting perfume on its sales
Mon, 18 Aug 2014Lincoln has a scent. But unlike those from Mustang, Lamborghini or even Shark by Tara, you can't buy it and you have to visit a Lincoln dealership to inhale its notes of jasmine hedione, mate tea leaves and tonka beans. Essence of Lincoln - that's what it's called - is being piped through the ventilation systems at some showrooms to help "create an emotional connection between the luxury brand and its customers," and olfactorily promote the idea of "luxury and warmth." Where it's not run through the ducts, visitors can sample it on scent cards.
Master perfumer Rene Morgenthaler worked with aroma house SensoryMax to design Essence of Lincoln. Also including traces of Earl Grey bergamot and green tea, whenever you encounter it you're meant to enjoy "a feeling of belonging to an exclusive, forward-thinking group that values style and success." And then buy an MKC. There's a press release below with details and an image to explain more, if you're still having a little trouble smelling the orange blossoms.
Lincoln Nautilus, Ford Edge latest prediction: Production ends in July 2024
Thu, Aug 20 2020In June, Auto Forecast Solutions put out a report compiled by its vice president of global forecasting, Sam Fiorani. One item in the report covered how Fiorani had heard from "multiple sources" that Ford shut down the program to replace the Edge crossover in 2023. Assuming this came to pass, with the Lincoln Nautilus based on the Edge, the inference is that the Nautilus would retire at or around the same time. Ford's response to media queries about the report was either "No comment" or PR-speak deflection. Lincoln's statement on the matter to Motor1, a crafty non-answer, was, "The Nautilus plays and will continue to play an important role in Lincoln’s growing SUV portfolio which includes the Corsair, Aviator and Navigator. Lincoln is investing in growth segments like SUVs and we have no plans to exit the segment." It's possible Lincoln has no plans to leave the segment, but the Nautilus might, according to a fresh, unsourced report in Ford Authority. The site claims the Nautilus will end production at the Oakville Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada, in July 2024. Again, we can't know how much, if any of this, is true. But we're zeroing in on a timeline for the potential end of the Edge and Nautilus in the U.S. Those are the only two products Oakville currently builds, and when the Canadian union Unifor asked Ford about the reports in June, Ford couldn't offer union reps anything concrete or reassuring. The Detroit News quoted Unifor chief Jerry Dias as saying of the automaker, "There is no question, they are going through a major evaluation of their portfolio, based on a whole host of things."  We could be seeing one of the earlier theories for Edge's potential demise coming true. Some analysts suspect Ford could be pruning its crossover lineup because it has too many similarly-sized offerings at the moment, the Edge hasn't met its sales targets in Europe, and more compact crossovers are on the way that could bring better street cred if they're associated with the Bronco or Bronco Sport. Unifor and Ford are now in negotiations over a new contract, so it's possible we'll get more clarity in the next month or so about Ford's plans and what will come of Oakville and its roughly 4,000 workers. If Ford walks away from the assembly plant, it will only have two engine plants left in Canada, and no vehicle assembly north of the border for the first time in about a century.
