2000 Lincoln LS Sport, V-6, 5-speed manual
Excellent Car. Very well maintained. Every system on this car works properly. Recent new clutch, pressure plate,
bearing and flywheel. All brake rotors replaced with Powerslot slotted disc rotors for enhanced performance.
Sport suspension includes 17" wheels and stiffer springs. The car has summer performance tires (50% tread)
Bridgestone Serenity tires. 163,000 miles. Ceiling mounted DVD player works with either headphones or stereo
radio system.
There is hail damage on the hood, roof and trunk lid. They are not bad, and hard to see in pictures. The driver's
seat has a hole in the leather on the door side bolster (as seen in photo). Paint is flaking on lower front passenger
side valance panel (as seen in photo). Wheels have scuffing, but not much. Headlight covers are fogging a little
(as seen in photo). Engine runs smooth as silk, ALL coil packs (common problem) were replaced carefully. The
car has a full size spare tire and matching wheel rim. I installed an adjustable mount for phone or iPod on the
dash (as seen in photo) that can be easily removed if desired.
This car gets about 18.5 mpg in town. 24.5-26 mpg on highway (70-85 mph). It has a fresh oil change, and will
be sold with a full tank of gas. It is ready to go and is a great car for smooth, comfortable long distance
traveling. Most of my travel in this car has been interstate and highway.
Upon successful completion of auction, I ask for a $300 Paypal deposit within 24 hours. The balance can be paid
with cash at pickup. Title is clear. I will be happy to help in any way regarding the sale and transfer of
ownership. Please bid only if you have established an ebay history. If no history send me a message before
bidding, so I will not cancel your bid. Please ask questions, and I will be happy to talk on phone after a message
is sent to me. I have had one mechanic work on the car since I got it 10 years ago. If you want to talk with him
I can forward his number after we talk. Thanks for bidding!

2015 Lincoln Navigator
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Typically, when I approach a new vehicle launch, it's with a degree of optimism. Nowadays, we just expect that every new vehicle will pose a legitimate challenge to segment leaders. Mid-cycle refreshes, meanwhile, have taken on a greater degree of importance, as customers' preferences for the freshest vehicles remains strong and automakers rush to keep the latest tech in their offerings.
Conversely, I admit to not being terribly optimistic hopping into the 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I was the first person from Autoblog to see the new model in the metal, way back in January ahead of its Chicago Auto Show debut, and my initial reaction was far from positive. But, as I'd been the one that initially tested the new Cadillac Escalade and had just finished a week in the long-wheelbase version of General Motors' most premium SUV, I was a natural candidate to head down to Louisville, KY - home of Navigator production - to sample the brand's latest.
Lincoln's attempt at freshening the old Navigator's bling-bling face is pretty typical of today's more thorough mid-cycle refreshes, with dramatically new front and rear clips. The addition of standard 20-inch wheels or optional 22s - in place of standard 18s and optional 20s - goes a long way towards modernizing the Navigator's staid exterior. The cabin, meanwhile, is home to finer leather, which covers most of the dash as well as the steering wheel and seats. Warm Ziricote wood would prove to be a particular highlight on the top-flight Reserve model that I drove (the only trim available for us to test).
Lincoln scales back free maintenance
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Complimentary scheduled maintenance programs have been great tools for luxury automakers to draw in new customers, but some are starting to scale their programs back considerably. According to Automotive News, Lincoln is joining Jaguar and Volvo on the list of automakers reducing the length of time it will be providing free maintenance to its customers.
Lincoln's four-year/50,000-mile maintenance program first kicked off as an incentive in 2010 and became permanent later that year, but starting with the 2014 model year, this will be cut to just two years and 24,000 miles. This could make short-term leases even more appealing for some consumers, but according to Automotive News, some Lincoln dealers are unhappy with the scaling back. The move admittedly comes at an odd time for Lincoln, with parent Ford seemingly working hard to increase consideration among luxury buyers as it looks to reverse the marque's long decline.
Updated Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator caught in new spy photos
Mon, Oct 26 2020Face-lifted Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator prototypes were spotted in the wild Monday wearing fairly extensive camouflage disguising updated bodywork for the 2022 model year. Ford's two body-on-frame offerings (BOFferings? Nope. Pretend that didn't happen.) are both due for a nip and tuck, and with GM's fresh slate of full-sizers now available, the timing couldn't be more perfect. There's not much we can discern from this Navigator prototype. The camo does a good job of masking whatever Lincoln has in store for the nose, but the tailgate has some discernible updates, including a significantly more pronounced recess for the license plate that also appears to be mounted higher on the hatch. This would likely indicate that the rear lighting scheme is getting an overhaul, as there doesn't appear to be enough room between the lower edge of the glass and the plate for the current scheme to be preserved. The Expedition, on the other hand, has quite a bit going on. For starters, this prototype is not sporting the chrome-and-polish look we've come to associate with these often-blingy SUVs. Instead, we see a set of Goodyear Wrangler all-terrains on what appear to be 18" wheels, which are positively dwarfed by the turbine-style wheels on the Lincolns. Leaning even harder into the off-road theme, this prototype is not wearing the scalloped front air dam seen on other Expeditions. While it may have been removed for testing purposes, its absence (or replacement) would certainly do wonders for the big SUV's approach angle. Elsewhere, we can see what appear to be a new set of tail lights, and it would be safe to assume based on the camo that we'll see new front and rear bumper treatments. We can also see a bit of the Expedition's interior, and there are quite a few things to note on this front. For starters, the prominent, vertically oriented infotainment screen takes after the Mustang Mach-E's unit. This is significant not only on spec, but also because it signals that the Expedition's interior will be departing more significantly from that of the F-150. Related Video:
