The car just drives, and drives, and drives. I commute 50 miles a day, and the car never lets me down. It is a 1999 with high miles, but anytime it needed a repair, it was done. You can find a lower mileage car, but when the air suspension dies at 85K, as they all do, you will be faced with $2000+ job. This suspension in this car was replaced already.

EVERTHING WORKS. The leather is beautiful, I have two keys, all lights work, AC Cold, Heated Seats work. Purrs at 75MPH and up and still gets 18-24 MPG.No leaks, and sunroof even closes automatically when car is shut off. Has Sony radio, with bluetooth, XM ready, CD and Aux plug. The only problem, is one back window does not open. and the headliner could use TLC. Come take it for a spin. Has some usual rust and dings, all glass is good. Sold as is, and may be sold locally. DOES NOT BURN OR LEAK OIL Anyone who knows these cars knows 300,000 it not unusual at all. This is why car services love the Lincoln. This was probably one of the best engines ever made. Tires are in good shape, and are matching Goodyear Eagles

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues

Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014

Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
