I am the second owner of this magnificent automobile. I have owned for 2 years. I purchased this car from the original owner. Car was driven by a lady. Her husband purchased it for her new. Car was never driven in the winter. The color combination, in my opinion is the best. It is a Pearl White, with Beige Leather. Since I have owned the car, I have put 2000 miles in the 2 years. I upgraded the wheels to 16 inch, new factory Lexus ES300 2002 wheels, with new 16 inch Michelin tires. The a/c was just replaced about 200 miles ago, at the cost of about $1600.. New factory floor mats,. All maintenance was done on the car. New brakes at 48,000. The climate control contrls had a couple of bad pixels, and it was sent out and repaired. The exterior is perfect, no dents or dings anywhere. The paint looks as nice as the day it left the showroom. I had pinstripping painted on, and you should be able to view in one of the pictures. You will not find hardly any wear, anywhere on the car, inside or out. the black door pieces on the exterior look as good as the day the car was new. You would think these would be worn, from your hand, when closing the door, but are not. The console area, dash area, door panels, all look as new as can be. I am a fanatic when it comes to my cars. . The 1992 SC300 was the first year for this car. . It is an exceptional car, that is in exceptional condition. This Lexus is as close to New as you will find anywhere. This is not your average Lexus.. Well worth what I am looking to get. Serious offers only, please. . Please check my feedback, and see what kind of seller I am. I just retired, and we don't need 3 cars. Thanks for looking, and good luck. Car comes with all manuals and books, and original window sticker. . Remote key also. THIS CAR IS CLOSE TO NEW CONDITION!! The car was taken to a show in January and won best of show for my division.
On Feb-18-13 at 20:34:27 PST, seller added the following information:
If you check KBB or NADA car values, there are many variables they cannot possibly account for. Some cars are more desirable than others, which they have no idea. Please do not try to low ball me with Estimates from these two sources. I would never sell any of my cars for what they think there worth. This car is in near new condition. Thanks Randy

2018 Lexus LC 500h is a wonderful mechanical mishmash
Wed, Mar 2 2016Lexus is following up on the Detroit debut of the LC 500 with a Geneva debut for a new hybrid model that, yes, has a four-speed automatic. We're still getting used to the idea, too. But as we've explained before, even with the old-school gearbox there's some real cutting edge stuff going on here. While the LC hybrid will have a four-speed auto, it will work in conjunction with an eCVT, a Lexus hybrid system, and possibly black magic. It's all very complicated – you can get particulars here – but it's best to think of the LC 500h's transmissions not as a CVT and a four-speed auto, but as a sort of ten-speed hybrid of the two, since both systems are always engaged. The hybrid system is much more familiar. There's a 3.5-liter V6, a battery pack, and two electric motors. Total system output is 354 ponies and Lexus claims the sprint to 60 mph will be done in under five seconds. For the record, the gas-only LC is projected to do the deed in around 4.5 seconds, so the hybrid shouldn't be a dramatic compromise in terms of performance. Of course, stats only tell so much. The ultimate question for the LC 500h is how its wild mix of transmissions, batteries, motors, and an engine will behave on the road. We don't have an answer for that yet, but we do have live images of the new hybridized Lexus at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Check them out. The LC 500h is equipped with Lexus' next generation hybrid powertrain, the Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System, providing enhanced driving pleasure, more performance, and greater efficiency. The LC was first revealed at the 2016 North America International Auto Show. Its styling, performance and craftsmanship position the vehicle as Lexus' flagship coupe. The LC also utilizes Lexus' new architecture that promises enhanced dynamic capability. Inspired by the acclaimed LF-LC concept that debuted in 2012, the LC represents a shift in Lexus' engineering processes and design ideologies, and marks the beginning of a new phase for the Lexus brand.
Ford tumbles to second worst in Consumer Reports reliability survey, list dominated by Japanese [w/video]
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It's no secret that MyFord Touch has had its share of problems since being introduced, but the most recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports shows just how much this infotainment system has affected Ford. Just two years ago, the automaker was in the top 10 for the institute's reliability rankings, but since then, it has tumbled to the second-lowest rung just above dead-last Jaguar. In addition to MyFord Touch, CR also attributes a handful of new products that have had issues right out of the gate.
Compiled from 1.2 million subscriber surveys, this year's auto reliability survey heavily favors Japanese automakers, with eight of the 10 spots hailing from Japan. Toyota brands grabbed the top three spots (Scion, Toyota and Lexus - in that order) with Mazda, Subaru, Honda and Acura filling the next four spots. The only non-Asian automaker cracking the top 10 was Audi at number eight.
Audi climbed a total of 18 spots from last year, and Cadillac and GMC round out this year's top gainers breaking into the top 15. Helping Cadillac's upward movement, the CTS Coupe was named the most reliable domestic car. Lincoln, Volvo and Chrysler join Ford on this year's biggest loser list.
Lexus LC 500h | Autoblog's 2018 Technology of the Year winner
Fri, Jan 12 2018Each year, we here at Autoblog review and test hundreds of cars from dozens of automakers, but only a few show the kind of technological advancement (whether that's infotainment, active safety features, advanced engine or transmission designs, or novel suspension) required to compete in the Technology of the Year award process. We award an automaker for bringing to the market features, components or an entire vehicle that we feel pushes the industry forward and sets the stage for things to come. For 2018, the Autoblog Technology of the Year award goes to the Lexus LC 500h and its Multi-Stage Hybrid System. For years, hybrids have sacrificed engaging dynamics in favor of improved efficiency. A few high-end models bucked that trend, but nothing truly mainstream felt quite right. Lexus' Multi-Stage Hybrid System is different, marrying an e-CVT that has six virtual gears to a conventional four-speed automatic, resulting in 10 effective ratios. It's as complicated as it sounds, though in practice the difference between it and a standard automatic is nigh imperceptible. You get the benefits of a hybrid — fuel efficiency, part-time all-electric driving — without sacrificing driver enjoyment, all packaged inside a stunning, fun-to-drive grand tourer. We feel the new hybrid system really gives the LC 500h a leg up on the competition, particularly because it pairs long-distance comfort, high performance, and efficiency in a way we feel will really resonate with consumers (and competing automakers, too). Our editors were impressed by just how well the LC 500h passed off duties between the internal-combustion engine and the electric motors, the only real tell that it was in EV mode being the tachometer needle resting at zero. And the regular Lexus LC 500 is also a wonderful car. It's also a step forward for Lexus as a whole. For years, the Japanese automaker was known for solid luxury vehicles that were sedate to a fault. The LFA was a worthy halo car, but it was also basically unattainable to an average well-off buyer. The F performance vehicles (IS F, GS F, and RC F) gave a much-needed kick to the brand but were a bit rowdy and rough around the edges. The LC 500h strikes a more perfect balance that feels truer to Lexus' brand values: It's quiet without being boring, and exciting without offending. It's also green without punishing the driver for it. Lexus paid great care to get the balance of this car right.
