1995 Lexus SC 400

Love this car ... A friend of mine was detailing it for me and wrecked the car on the first day of rain fall we had this year. He lost control and the car slid off the road coming to a stop between two trees. My friend was fine as he was traveling at less than 20mph when this accident occurred.
The vehicle is drivable but the front end is damaged. The motor has been well maintained. This car is so much fun to drive, I absolutely love this car.
The title is clear and the vehicle is registered until June 2014.

FYI:
The title shows several ownership changes, I have been the sole owner for the past 3 years. The transfer of ownership between the last three owners shown on the title was done between the names of family members only for personal reasons only. The car has been in my possession and I have been the sole driver for the past three years.

My friend removed the hood and both front side fenders of vehicle so he could get a better idea of the damage to the car. He said that the frame is straight. The front clip of vehicle will need to be replaced. This car is in drivable condition. The power steering will need to be cleaned out and refilled with fluid. The radiator may need to be replaced as well. The airbags were imploded at the time of the accident. See pics for more details regarding condition of this vehicle.

Final Lexus IS F rolls off assembly line in Japan, bound for US

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

We knew this day would come, but it's nonetheless a bit of a sad one for Lexus enthusiasts as the very last example of the IS F has rolled off the assembly line in Tahara, Japan. Decked out in its trademark bright blue, the final IS F is destined for a customer right here in the United States.
Far from just another now-defunct model in an endless succession, the IS F marked the first time that Lexus did a proper performance model, debuting in production guise at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show alongside the LFA concept long before the latter entered production and took the idea of the high-performance Lexus even further. The IS F may not have sold in huge numbers, but it definitely marked a milestone for Toyota's luxury division.
Don't cry too much, however, as the new RC F that effectively takes its place packs an even mightier punch. While both are powered by essentially the same 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic driving the rear wheels, the outgoing sedan's 416 horsepower and 371 pound-feet of torque is easily outgunned by the new coupe's 450 hp and 383 lb-ft.

Lexus celebrates 10 years of F performance

Wed, Feb 7 2018

RC F and GS F are getting special editions. To celebrate 10 years of f performance. Only 240 of the RC F will be produced, a number chosen because there are 240 Lexus dealers in the U.S. Transcript: RC F and GS F are getting special editions to celebrate 10 years of f performance. Both cars are finished in a matte paint called nebula gray. The wheels are painted in a gloss black and the brake calipers are painted a bright blue to match the f brand's colors. They each get bright blue leather seats with gray accents and blue suede shift knobs. Sadly, they don't get any performance upgrades over the normal models, but they are visually striking. These 10th-anniversary edition cars are extremely limited production. Only 240 of the RC F will be produced, a number chosen because there are 240 Lexus dealers in the U.S. Only 100 of the GS F will be sold. They'll be available for purchase this summer, but Lexus hasn't finalized pricing for the cars. Lexus Performance Autoblog Minute Videos Original Video

Lexus files to copyright LC 500 nameplates [UPDATE]

Mon, Dec 8 2014

UPDATE: Reached for comment, Lexus told Autoblog that it "cannot offer comment on the potential naming of a production version of the LF-LC concept" and pointed out that automakers trademark nameplates as a matter of course. Some automakers already slap a production-ready name on their concepts, but not Lexus. The Japanese automaker typically labels its show cars with the letters LF-XX. So when we heard that Toyota had green-lit the LF-LC concept for production, we naturally started wondering what name the production version would carry. But if the latest intel is any indication, we can stop wondering. According to Lexus Enthusiast, the automaker has filed to trademark the names LC 500 and LC 500h in a variety of markets – including the United States, Canada and Australia. The application tells us a number of things: first of all, that the LF-LC will retain that second set of letters along the road to production (like the NX but unlike other recent Lexus concepts). And secondly, it indicates what engines we can expect to find under the hood. The 500 designation would seem to suggest that the base version of Lexus' upcoming halo sports car will pack the 5.0-liter V8 from the RC F. The bigger question mark is over the hybrid version. Current gasoline-electric models in the company's lineup include the RX 450h (based on a 3.5-liter V6) and the LS 600h (with a 5.0-liter V8). For the LC 500h, Lexus could be planning a more potent electric motor to mate to the 3.5L V6, or planning a new powertrain altogether.
