GREAT, 2008 Lexus IS250 AWD For Sale With ONLY 73k Miles!
I bought this car about 3 years ago with only 27K miles and it has been a great car for me ever since.  It is loaded with all of the options INCLUDING Navigation, heated/cooled seats, HID Xenon headlights, Steering Wheel Controls, and all of the other usual options for the IS250.  I bought it from a dealer friend of mine with a salvage title, it had been repaired previous to his buying it at auction so I don't really know what the initial damage was.  There is currently no damage other than the normal wear and tear of city driving, a few dings and paint chips around.  The wheels have some curb rash and pretty nasty corrosion on them which is normal for this year IS250 I understand.  There is also a small hole in the bottom of the driver's seat.
Mechanically this car is ready to go, it's gets a sticker every year with no problem.  It has newer tires and brakes are fairly recent.  The oil has been changed on schedule every 3k miles.  Everything in the car works as it should with the exception of the AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting) the light is on, but everything still seems to function like it should.
I love the car but I am looking to buy a house so I need to sell it and payoff my loan.  The book value on this car is well over $20k with a clean title, so someone is going to get a steal with this no reserve auction.
As usual, car is being sold locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction and is being sold AS-IS with no warranty.
I will be more than happy to assist with shipping if needed.  There is a DAS shipping hub in Massachusetts I can bring it to for any buyer once payment has cleared.
Please feel free to ask any and all questions.
GOOD LUCK BIDDERS!!!!

Lexus teases Detroit-bound F Performance Coupe... again

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

A few weeks ago, Lexus released a teaser image of its upcoming Detroit Auto Show reveal, simply calling it the "next Lexus F." Now, a new shot of the Detroit-bound car has been sent out, and while we still don't know what the new model will be called, we can tell you this: it's a coupe.
Originally, we assumed the new Lexus F model would be the successor to the IS F sedan. But now that we know it'll be a two-door, it stands to reason that this could be the performance oriented version of the 2015 RC coupe that made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show earlier this year. Of course, Lexus is still keeping quiet on any specifics, simply stating that the company "will unleash its upcoming F model as a coupe, conceived with grit, an entirely new expression of design and uncompromising performance."
The official name of the new F model is set to be revealed in early January, likely just before its official debut in Detroit. Stay tuned for more, and scroll down to read Lexus' very brief press blast.

Lexus teases Frankfurt Motor Show concept... is it the RC Coupe?

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

With the teaser image of the concept car above and the announcement that Lexus will be premiering it to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday, September 10, you know pretty much what we know. The Japanese luxury brand has decided to to say nothing more. Picture sleuthers have, however, suggested that it is a conceptual preview of either the RC Coupe or the hotter RC-F that will be revealed in Tokyo, or, less likely, the coming NX crossover - and that covers all the bases that we know of.
Along with that, Europeans will get to lay eyes on the GS 300h for the first time, the sport sedan powered by Lexus' 2.5L hybrid powertrain. You'll find a skosh more information in the press release below.

This is what a Lexus RC-based 'four-door coupe' might look like

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

It feels like there is a secret law in Germany mandating that every domestic automaker there must offer at least one model with a four-door coupe bodystyle like the BMW Gran Coupes, Mercedes-Benz CLS and Audi A7. Several of the German brands even have the swoopy sedans in multiple sizes. So far, Lexus has stayed out of that fray, but maybe not for long, if a recently spotted test car makes it to market.
The brand is known to be testing a highly styled four-door coupe, roughly the size of the GS, under heavy camouflage. Little is known about the new model at the moment, but its existence makes sense. If it really wants to take the on Germans, Lexus is going to have to fight them toe-to-toe with competing models - especially with ones understood to have high margins.
Pictured above is a rendering from artist Theophilus Chin imagining a slightly smaller take on the genre based on the RC coupe, which he calls the RC GT. His design leaves the original shape almost untouched, but shortens the front doors to allow room for a rear doors under the arching roof. His GT would be aimed more against the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe and rumored Mercedes-Benz C-Class four-door coupe, rather than the larger models Lexus actually appears to be targeting with its vehicle under development. His concept certainly nails the look, though, and while it might not have a basis in reality, we thought that it's well-resolved enough that you'd want to take a look, if only as a "what could've been" flight of fancy.
