Hi, up for sale i have my 2001 Lexus is300. Its Black on Black interior with suede inserts. I Originally bought this car with plans to swap in a 2jz-gte i have in my garage however I am now getting Married and so that plan has come to a Halt as i need to find and buy a house first. I also have 2 other cars at home as my daily cars. Anyways, this car is really really in exceptional condition. Nothing is wrong with it! I just did major maintenance on it about a week ago.
That maintenance included: Timing Belt and Water Pump Replacement, Oil Change, New Tires w/ Professionally balanced wheels, Transmission Service, Power Steering Flush, Cooling System Flush, Throttle Body Cleaning as well as fuel Service. Aside from all that, I bought new gs300 rims and mounted 4 new tires on them, I replaced both motor mounts and transmission mount, Replaced radiator and cooling fans due to a small leak, Bought new headlights because old ones were fogged up (expensive), All Spark Plugs Changed, Replaced driveshaft due to old driveshaft having a bad center support bearing, Also the 2001 is300s are known to have an air leak at the left rear quarter window, i replaced the window seal and no more air leak! Vehicle has new paint due to small rear end hit. But was fixed and does still have CLEAN TITLE. So New paint Professionally done! LED Tag Lights and Parking Lights. Pioneer Radio. 5% New Tints.
So Drives smooth and very Quiet!. Basically i have fixed and improved everything on this car! Over 2000 Dollars in improvements and maintenance. Engine does have 175k miles however while timing belt was being done i performed a cylinder leak down and compression test and engine checked out Perfect. Transmission is also perfect. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Power Train. Only thing i have not fixed is the right rear tailamp has a small crack on it however all lights do work! Just needs a new lens. I saw one for sale for about 89 dollars. Interior is very well kept, clean, No tears or rips anywhere, Dash is clean which is rare on is300s. Thats about all i can think of off the top of my head.

2014 Lexus CT 200h F Sport
Fri, 25 Apr 2014The idea of the Lexus CT 200h F Sport intrigues me. A compact, premium, efficient hatchback with an added dose of sportiness? Sign me up. It's why I'm still crossing my fingers for Volkswagen to sell the Golf GTD on our shores (though recent reports on that front are bumming me out). And judging a book by its cover, this Lexus certainly looks like it could be an interesting proposition.
Lexus first launched the CT for the 2011 model year, and for 2014, the little hatch has been given a makeover, now proudly wearing the company's new spindle grille, for better or worse. When we reviewed the CT after its launch, executive editor Chris Paukert called it "handsome, well screwed together," and "one of Toyota's boldest offerings in years." That may have been true, but after a slight makeover and some fresh new F Sport duds, I'm wondering if the CT proposition isn't looking a little more unfortunate than before.

Lexus eschews production in China over quality concerns
Sat, 03 May 2014One of the more popular trends in the auto industry is setting up production operations in China. Mainstream manufacturers like Ford, General Motors and Volkswagen have done it, and even luxury marques like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz have or will soon have manufacturing ops in the People's Republic.
One company that isn't building cars in China, though, is Lexus. The Toyota-owned luxury brand still manufactures all of its vehicles in Japan (aside from a few RXs, which are built at a Toyota factory in Canada). According to Tokuo Fukuichi, Lexus just isn't ready to build cars there yet.
"The German Three have a brand image that they have cultivated over the past century in their long history, but Lexus is not in people's minds like that yet," Fukuichi-san told Reuters UK.
