Rare 2008 Lexus Gs460 4.6l V8 Mark Levinson Luxury Sedan * Low Miles * Nav *auto on 2040-cars
Kansas City, Missouri, United States
|
Due to winning bidder from Knoxville not being about to come up with the money according to clear instructions stated in ebay listing, I must re-list. Up for ebay auction today is something very special and hard to find...a low mile 2008 Lexus GS460 Mark Levinson edition luxury sedan with every option offered, top of the line, V8, it has it all. Beautiful condition inside and out, runs like an Indy car and luxuries inside like a millionaire's yacht. There are two known GS460 models in all of Kansas City proper, and she owns one of them. If you want the best Lexus they make, and every known option including navigation, sensors, automatic rear shade, tint, sunroof, auto, full leather seating, all airbags every direction, heated seats, the list goes on and on. I suggest you Google this model for all the options on a "Mark Levinson" model, it would take up a full page. Speaking of Mark Levinson, this is the finest car audio in existence, and one of the main reasons I purchased the car for her. She loves her stereo and nothing beats the quality, this option alone is in the $6000+ range! Speakers everywhere in this treasure. Every navigation and electronic button works like it should, auto climate, so many I can't keep up with all the electronic marvels. If there's an option you desire, ask me about it and I'll reply "yes" because this model has everything in the catalog. Exterior is amazingly beautiful and straight, pearl white, with the very minor highway chip here and there but it's hard to spot from 6 ft. away, you'd have to get up close. Any time I sell one of my collectible cars I have to mention that it's a previously-owned car, not a brand new off the dealer showroom floor car...so please, expect a little wear somewhere. But I can't find any dents or dings anywhere, maybe hood chips if you look, but overall...this Lexus is in amazing condition! Look at the pictures! Enlarge them with the ebay cursor...you'll be hard pressed to find a 2008 nicer than this one. Good luck with that search. Am I bragging? Yeah, a little, can't help it on this example. It's always been garage stored and looks it. Paint glistens in the sun, always professionally detailed during the year, always maintained at our Lexus dealership in town. Whatever it needs along the way, it gets. Considering this vehicle retailed new at $64,000, you are buying a Lexus that most will not have seen...a V8 GS460, limited production and marketed mainly to the West and East coast dealers with scattered southern state availability. Included in the sale: original FOB transponder key with newer battery so you won't have to bother with that for a few years use, all original owner's manuals, any paperwork associated to the car that might be in the glovebox. All four original Lexus stitched floor mats come with, all have been professionally cleaned and detailed with the car itself and located in the trunk. GS460 uses premium gasoline and I will fill the tank for the new owner so you can get in and drive home without stopping at the gas station. I think that covers it. My wife has owned and enjoyed this Lexus from 7600 miles to its current number, and drives it daily so that number could change by the time you win the bid. Once the reserve has been met, she will park it in the garage with a tarp over it and from that point on...it sits until a new owner is determined. The salvage title represents an early wreck and insurance claim dealer repair in California from owner number one. We are owner #2. Everything was Lexus dealer serviced/repaired and inspected before insurance sale bidding began. If you know anything about insurance claim sales, they repair the vehicles at the factory dealership of the car. No aftermarket parts or subpar mechanics used. Expensive, Lexus-trained personnel and expensive Lexus OEM parts only used on this one. That's why I purchased it in the first place! You won't notice a thing different between this vehicle or a clear title Lexus other than the title stating as such. Drives like a low mile sedan, performs in every way without hitch, no known current issues you need to deal with...Lexus is ready for sale and because of that salvage title, you will own something special, out of reach financially for most, but for a price most successful people could afford. No one will own a nicer Lexus anywhere, in any city for this reasonable of a price because I purchased the car correctly from day one. I will not give the Lexus away for Volkswagen money, just being as honest as I can be upfront so you don't get your hopes up and want to lowball and waste time. This is a luxury supercar loaded and scarce on the market, running perfect and looking as nice as any 2008 on anyone's lot in America. It's been taken care of by a local celebrity mortgage executive and it shows. She wanted a car that nobody else was driving around town and one that had all the options Lexus offers. Also of note: never ever smoked in...owner is non-smoker. That's important to me when buying a car and I know it's important to many. If this is something you are ready for, get your finances in order, make a decision to own, not just bid for bidding sake...and somebody is going to hit the jackpot today on this gem. 2008 Lexus GS460 Mark Levinson sedan is sold "as is/where is" from Kansas City, MO, 64111. There are no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer must satisfy payment in full within 3 days after auction end. Wired funds to the Kansas City Policemen's Credit Union are accepted, must settle before transfer of any property. Cash in hand is also acceptable before any property transfer takes place. Do not show up with cashier's check in hand and expect to drive away, that's not happening. Any funds must settle or clear credit union before any title signing or transport of vehicle, no exceptions whatsoever. If any of these rules are not acceptable to you, please do not bid. I am a serious seller and this is a serious machine selling for serious money. I have salvage title in hand, and that title will be signed over, dated, in full compliance once funds have been satisfied to me, the owner. If you have a problem with buying salvage title cars, please do not bid. Thousands of salvage title cars sell every day on ebay and all have insurable, loanable titles just like clear "non-salvage" but for any reason you are not comfortable with this, please let someone else buy the car. Every car sale I make goes through smooth as silk and I consider salvage car buying the ultimate "deal" in the car buying market. Once payment is made in full to the seller's satisfaction, transport home of your Lexus is next on the schedule. It is up to you, the buyer, totally to take care of transport arrangements with various companies or paid drivers, etc. You handle all the details of transport. Can you drive this car home? Of course you can, and if you're within driving distance...that's what I'd do. I would get in this beauty and drive to any point on the map, it's serviced, it's comfortable, and you'll never drive anything like it on the highway. Power galore and quiet interior, smooth handling. If you're a buyer who likes to keep the miles down and want a rollaway transport, then make arrangements. Please keep in mind, if you're not familiar with the GS460 that it sits rather low to the ground and needs a rollaway type transport or car-specific company to do the hauling. Like BMW, Mercedes, Audi and such, you are buying a high end luxury sedan that needs proper treatment when transporting. You're buying something special, don't let just anybody haul it to save a $100 bucks! Almost done...I will hold the car, undriven in my garage, for a couple weeks while you get your business together on transport, but need to be paid in full...I repeat...PAID IN FULL within 3 days time after auction end. 3 days time after auction end. 3 days after auction end I want paid in full. 3 days after auction is over, I need the car to be paid for in full. Everybody understand? Good. That means during the bidding process, I want you to go to your bank and prequalify for the purchase and prepare yourself like I do when buying something of substance. Don't wait until the end, find out you've won, then casually go to the bank and start the process. If you do not have the money (as my Knoxville, TN bidder did not) in your bank account or accessible immediately, I do not want you to bid on the car and waste my time and yours. I don't know how much more clear I have to put this. I'm a busy man, wife is a busy woman, you're probably busy as well. Excuses are for somebody else, I only want people of means to bid. If this is too much for you to handle, go elsewhere, what more can I say? My reserve price is not a lot of money in my world. And if you aren't the winner and ask for a second chance...act upon that second chance offer! I'll email the winner with my phone number and expect a call back and money paid in full within 3 days and let's move this sale along. There is an epidemic of ebay bidders who don't pay when they bid for some reason. Nobody with zero feedback is allowed to bid or with negative feedback. Your bids will be canceled. I want a successful, money-earning man or woman to buy this Lexus. Excuses are for somebody else. I'm reasonable, I'm fair, but eventually I want my garage space back so do not pay for the car and a month later show up to take it home. Please, pick up the Lexus within a couple weeks time, is that too much to ask? I don't think so. I'll work with you but let's keep the time frame reasonable for both the buyer and seller. I think that covers it. Good luck to all bidders and I know she is going to miss this treasure, it has served her well these past 4+ years of ownership, loved every day of it. I doubt we'll ever own something this nice again, maybe, but doubtful. What's nicer than a GS460 Mark Levinson? Not much in that price range, I can tell you that. Somebody is going to love this car. Let the bidding begin... |

Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
Lexus teases Frankfurt Motor Show concept... is it the RC Coupe?
Tue, 20 Aug 2013With the teaser image of the concept car above and the announcement that Lexus will be premiering it to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday, September 10, you know pretty much what we know. The Japanese luxury brand has decided to to say nothing more. Picture sleuthers have, however, suggested that it is a conceptual preview of either the RC Coupe or the hotter RC-F that will be revealed in Tokyo, or, less likely, the coming NX crossover - and that covers all the bases that we know of.
Along with that, Europeans will get to lay eyes on the GS 300h for the first time, the sport sedan powered by Lexus' 2.5L hybrid powertrain. You'll find a skosh more information in the press release below.
2023 Japan Mobility Show Mega Photo Gallery: All the highlights and reveals from Tokyo
Fri, Oct 27 2023The 2023 Japan Mobility Show managed to serve up a surprise heap of exciting and futuristic designs and production reveals. Our staff was on the ground in Tokyo for this year's show, where we captured not just all of the latest automotive trends, but some genuinely weird and fascinating stuff. Browse: Some Delightful Oddities of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show But on to the cars. This year's show featured introductions from Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Some are weird; some are wild; most are probably destined to change significantly before production or merely fade into the void with the rest of the industry's vaporware, but if even a few of these make it to showrooms, we'll consider it a win. Scroll on down for our live galleries of each of the show's major debuts (and cars we're only now seeing in person for the first time).
