You are bidding on a 2007 Lexus GS350 AWD. It is a 4-door, black on black, gorgeous car that lives up to all the luxury Lexus offers. It's got all the bells and whistles, including a few options, as follows:
• Black leather interior with burl wood trim
• Power everything
• Heated AND COOLED seats
• Window tinting for both heat and to protect the interior
• Invisible chip/bug bra coating on hood/front-end
• Premium wheels
• Navigation system, recently updated
• Internal Bluetooth with steering wheel controls
• Back-up camera
• Keyless entry with smart keys (leave them in your purse/pocket -- the car will sense them and just slipping your hand in the door handle unlocks the door. Push the button while pressing the break and the ignition starts. The car lets you know if the key is not present and will not start or open.
• Multi-disk CD changer
The car has only had 2 owners - I am the 2nd and bought it at 39,000 miles. It has been regularly maintained with oil changes, tire rotations, etc. All sensors work great including all the regular maintenance sensors, custom sensors, etc. Tires only have about 10,000 miles on them - 40,000 miles left.
It runs great and looks even better. Interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, scratches, etc. Exterior paint has one tiny ding on the gas door and another tiny one on the edge of one of the quarter panels at the wheel well - both VERY small and you probably wouldn't notice until I point them out to you. There are a few scratches here and there, consistent with a 5-year-old gloss black car. Most would buff out as most are in the clear coat. None are really bad. The car has 119,600 miles at present and drives like it has 19,600. It has been a garage-kept car and I am a non-smoker and so was the previous owner.
Please email if interested - I'd be happy to provide my phone number if you have questions or want to visit about the car, etc. It is also listed on Craigslist, so whichever sells it first!
Thanks for looking.

Flower petal-covered Lexus UX 250h wins art car competition
Sun, Feb 14 2021We confess not to know the first thing about art, so perhaps we don't quite get why anyone would want to cover every inch of a Lexus UX250h with flower petals. It's not as if it's an easy thing to do. But not only has someone done it, the resulting car has actually won an art car competition sponsored by the luxury marque. Without the flower petals, the Lexus UX is actually a pretty sharp looking compact premium crossover. It wears the Lexus design language with its many crsip creases and angled lines better than most of its fellow L-badgers. In fact, we can think of others whose sheetmetal would look better under a veil of paper blossoms. The winning entry, created by a design outfit called Clap Studio out of Valencia, Spain, beat five other Lexus UX art cars to win the contest. It took artists Jordi Iranzo and Angela Montagud a month to attach the thousands of paper cutouts to the body. "Our concept is a Zen garden that represents a state of mind: calm, pure consciousness,” they explained. The duo also point out that the car looks very different depending on the light, as the petals reflect and cast shadows in varying directions. Other entrants included more traditional art cars, with elaborate paint jobs, textures, or random objects affixed to them. At least one appeared to be covered in actual, not abstract, flora. Only the winning proposal was actually built, it seems, so in real life only one UX was defiled (or beautified, depending on your taste). Again, we don't know much about art. Related video:
Google self-driving car badly damaged in accident but wasn't at fault
Sat, Sep 24 2016A self-driving Lexus RX 450h hybrid sport utility vehicle owned and operated by Google was involved in an accident in Mountain View, California, on Friday afternoon. Nobody was injured, though there was an occupant inside the Lexus at the time of the crash. Initial reports indicate Google's autonomous vehicle was not at fault. The accident happened when another driver in a commercial van ran a red light and hit the passenger side of the autonomous vehicle. Google confirmed that the vehicle was piloting itself at the time of the accident. When it became obvious a collision was imminent, the human driver applied the brakes, but it was too late. The car sustained significant damage in the crash and had to be towed away on a flatbed trailer. This isn't the first time one of Google's self-driving vehicles was involved in an accident, but it does appear to be the first time one of the tech giant's cars sustained serious damage. In a statement to 9to5Google.com, Google said, "Thousands of crashes happen everyday on US roads, and red-light running is the leading cause of urban crashes in the US. Human error plays a role in 94% of these crashes, which is why we're developing fully self-driving technology to make our roads safer." The United States Department of Transportation earlier this week outlined a set of 15 safety assessment objectives for autonomous vehicle manufacturers to meet. The DOT said "automated vehicles hold enormous potential benefits for safety, mobility and sustainability." Toyota and Lexus will have standard automatic braking by 2017
Sat, Mar 26 2016Last week, NHTSA and IIHS announced that 20 auto manufacturers and three agencies had agreed to include automatic emergency braking (AEB) as standard equipment by 2022. Toyota was one of those 20 companies, but this week they upped the AEB ante: Nearly every Toyota and Lexus model and trim level will have standard AEB by 2017. That's next year. Many models already offer AEB as part of the Lexus Safety System+ and Toyota Safety Sense packages, but consumers have had to pay extra for these options (unless they leased a Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle; it already has AEB as standard equipment.) By the end of next year, all but the Lexus GS, Toyota 4Runner and Toyota 86 — which was developed together with Subaru — will have AEB installed at no extra cost. (Interestingly, the new Prius Prime unveiled at the New York International Auto Show has Safety Sense as an option rather than standard equipment.) The AEB function is part of Toyota's safety suites, which will be included in 25 Lexus and Toyota models. Both makes have a precollision system that detects the possibility of collision with the car ahead and engages the brakes if the driver doesn't react quickly enough, as well as lane departure alerts and automatic high beams. Toyota's move leapfrogs ahead of Honda making its Honda Sensing system, which includes AEB tech, available as a flat $1,000 option on every Civic Sedan.
