This is my story. She has 122k. Before I purchased this SUV I researched all pros and cons regarding this model. The P-38 was Range Rover's last model before switching to the new body style. I looked into close to 13 vehicles from New York to Boston but I wasn't convinced. There was always something off or wrong. A month later I made my decision after I noticed this SUV on ebay in a dealership and I traveled to Chicago to buy it because it had great millage and it was in perfect condition. Well, long story short, a month after I purchased it I started having issues with the (EAS) It seems all of these SUV'S have this issue. Once you fix an air leak on one of the shock absorber fittings, another one will go bad a month later. After careful research I learned the best thing to do was to change the whole system. When this system collapses the truck will almost hit the ground as if it didn't have shock absorbers. I had the system changed at the Land Rover dealership in Guilford CT. I have all the records and paid $2,023.76. I also took care of repairing all the buttons to make sure the features where working properly. I also put in new breaks and changed all the fluids. A month ago I replaced the windshield because it had a crack from the last snow storm. I spend $525.00. The truck is working well now, it has no issues. It's emission ready until 2014. I have always taken it to the Land Rover dealership for maintenance. I am selling it because I'm interested in purchasing another vehicle from a relative in a good deal for me and I need the money. This SUV was my wife's vehicle.

I don't need anyone to sell it for me, don't loose your time, No Scams, No Money Grams, No Checks, No Money Orders ONLY CASH. I will not respond to e-mails or text messages from blocked numbers. I do not care if you're in jail, in the hospital, in an Army base or at the Space Station if you want to do business with me, it has to be in person. Do not offer $700.00 less than asking because I will not accept less, in fact, in order to make it easier for you, the less I'm willing to accept is $8,500 Not negotiable. If you belive that my SUV is over your budget, don't call me and get another less expensive one, but prepare yourself for the EAS NIGHTMARE. Research on ebay the year, model and miles you're going to be surprised with the current prices. Xcar drives Jaguar C-X75, other Spectre villains of 007

    Thu, Oct 29 2015

James Bond returns to US theaters very soon in Spectre, and with the action-packed film wrapped, the producers are lending out the keys to some of the movie's automotive stars. We've already seen Jay Leno behind the wheel of Bond's Aston Martin DB10. Now, Xcar's Alex Goy has taken a turn in some of the flick's villainous rides from Jaguar Land Rover, including a very special Jaguar C-X75. The crew from JLR's Special Vehicle Operations team certainly did an impressive job of giving the movies baddies some appropriately nefarious rides. To challenge Bond, they turned the Land Rover Defender into a beast with chunky, off-road tires and blinding-spot lights. They also made the Range Rover Sport SVR even more diabolical than normal with a blacked-out look and LED lightbar. Of course, the king of Spectre's villain cars is the C-X75. According to Goy, most of the ones in the movie use the company's 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, but two are actually original prototypes with the hybrid setup. He gets to drive one of those special examples in this clip. While limited to some low-speed cruising, the coupe still looks wonderfully menacing on the road. Related Video:

BMW tops Consumer Reports 2023 Brand Report Card

    Thu, Feb 16 2023

Feels like we wrote about Consumer Reports' 2022 Brand Report Car and 10 Top Picks a few weeks ago, but it was last April. So the mag is back with a ranked roster of 32 brands and 10 vehicles in four categories for your debating pleasure. Starting with the brands, last year's top three were Subaru, Mazda and BMW. This year, the Munich crew climbed two spots to win the prize thanks to "Superb road test scores and solid results in CR’s reliability and owner satisfaction surveys." Subaru narrowly fell to second, maintaining its four-year run in the top three. Mini, eighth last year, jumped five spots to get the last step on the podium. The rest of the top 10 were Lexus (up one spot from last year), Honda (down one spot from last year), Toyota (up three), Genesis (up 12), Mazda (down six), Audi (down three) and Kia (up eight). The magazine and testing outfit says its Brand Report Card "[reveals] which automakers are producing the most well-performing, safe, and reliable vehicles based on CRÂ’s independent testing and member surveys," and that "Brands that rise to the top tend to have the most consistent performance across their model lineups." Last year's top 10 had six automakers from Japan, three from Germany (giving Mini credit for England), none from the U.S. or South Korea, and five luxury brands. This year's list counts five makes from Japan, two from Germany because Porsche fell out of the top ten, two from South Korea, still none from the U.S., and four luxury brands. Buick again ranked as the best domestic, dropping to 12th after being 11th last year. The big mover was Lincoln, its 10-place jump up to 16th attributed to better reliability from the Corsair and Nautilus. Tesla's improved overall reliability saw it climb six spots to 17th. Dodge climbed one spot to 15th. Jeep got out of the penalty box in last to come second-to-last. Land Rover fell three places into the penalty spot.  CR's top 10 vehicle models The 10 Top Picks list is practically a new list. Only two holdovers made it to 2023, those being the Subaru Forester and Kia Telluride.
