i have owned this rover since 2011 and have put 25k miles on it. really a great car for a lot of reasons. it is unbelievable in the snow and it can carry or tow anything.
i use it daily and it never fails me. if there is one critical project and that would be replacing the heater core (a $900-$1100 job) though there are some mechanics who can do it for less by using a less labor intensive technique (check it out on you tube - still $600.) there is no rust any where & the tires have about 5k miles on them. car looks & drives great but i have to many cars at the moment. |

Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions
Fri, 13 Jun 2014Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.

Ferrari exec to lead Jaguar North America
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that Jeff Curry will be serving as the brand's new North American vice president, effective August 13. The move is a coup for Jag, which lured Curry away from his previous posting as VP of marketing for Ferrari North America, and is further evidence of just how strong Jaguar's comeback has gotten.
Curry has spent over 20 years in the auto industry, and has worked with Audi, SiriusXM and Land Rover, where he made his start in the industry. His primary responsibilities with Jaguar will cover marketing communications, customer relationship management, and product planning.
Jaguar Land Rover's North American president, Andy Goss, heaped praise on the brand's newest addition saying, "Jeff brings with him extensive automotive and luxury marketing experience, critical expertise in leading-edge technologies and a personal passion for automobiles."
