YOU ARE BIDDING ON MY 2006 LAND ROVER LR3 SE V8 SUV IN GREAT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT, THE PAINT IS VERY SHINY WITHOUT ANY DINGS OR NOTICEABLE SCRATCHES AND THE INTERIOR IS A NICE CUSTOM TWO TONE LEATHER BEIGE AND BLACK AND STILL IN GREAT CONDITION AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS, IT HAS 3 SUNROOFS AND AIRBAG SUSPENSION THAT GOES UP AND DOWN ABOUT 4 OR 5 INCHES FOR OFF ROADING AND SUSPENSION WORKS PERFECT.

I INSTALLED A BRAND NEW KENWOOD EXCELLON NAVIGATION / DVD RADIO HEAD UNIT THAT IS TOP OF THE LINE AND COST ME OVER 2500.00 TOTAL INSTALLED BY PROFESSIONALS WITH WARRANTY, I HAVE ALL RECEIPTS.  THE NAVIGATION RADIO LOOKS GREAT AND LOOKS LIKE STOCK.  IT IS TOUCH SCREEN AND HAS IPOD IPHONE CONNECTION AND USB AND SD CARD AND BLUETOOTH AND DVD BYPASSED SO YOUR PASSENGER CAN WATCH MOVIES WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING, THIS UNIT HAS EVERYTHING!
ALSO HASE A REAR VIEW BOYO CAMERA, CHROME LICENSE PLATE CAMERA. NOT THE CHEAP PLASTIC ONES THEY SELL ON EBAY THESE DAYS. THESE ARE METAL AND BOYO IS THE BEST BRAND AND ALL CHROME FINISHED AND GOES AROUND THE WHILE LICENSE PLATE WITH THE CAMERA IN THE TOP MIDDLE AND VERY CLEAR ALMOST LIKE HD WIDE SCREEN VIEW WITH 180DEGRESS WIDE VIEW.

I ALSO HAD THEM INSTALL A HIGH END VIPER REMOTE START / ALARM THAT STARTS YOUR CAR ONE MILE AWAY RANGE WITH THE VIPER REMOTE OR YOU CAN USE YOUR VIPER SMART START I ALSO HAD THEM INSTALL THAT TURNS YOUR IPHONE OR ANY SMART PHONE INTO A REMOTE AND YOU CAN START YOUR CAR AND GET INFO ABOUT YOUR CAR FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTRY OR DIFFERENT STATE. MY FRONT SIDE WINDOWS ARE TINTED TO MATCH THE REAR FACTORY TINTED 20% SHADE WINDOWS SO IT LOOKS ALL ONE SHADE GLASS ALL OVER BUT THE WINDSHIELD, NOT ALLOWED TO TINT WINDSHIELDS IN SOME STATES EVEN RHOUGH I HAVE MY HUMMER TINTED ALL AROUND AND IT HEKPS WITH THE UV RAYS 100% OFF AND KEEPS MY CAR COOL IN HOT DAYS AND SO DOES THE REMOTE START OF COURSE, BECAUSE YOU START YOUR CAR FROM YOUR HOME WHEN IT'S HOT INSIDE THE CAR BECAUSE THE REMOTE SHOWS YOU THE INTERIOR TEMP OF USUALLY OVER 110' THAT'S WHEN IT'S ONLY ABOUT 85 OUT SO THE REMOTE START WILL COOL YOUR CAR OFF BUY TURNING ON YOUR AC FOR 10 MIN AND YOU CAN ALEAYS CHANGE THE TIME SETTING, SAME IN THE WINTER AND EVEN BETTER BECAUSE IT WARMS UP YOUR ENGINE AND YOUR INTERIOR OF YOUR KEATHER SEATS BEVAUSE UOU SHOULE ALWAYS LET THE CAR WARM UP FOR ATLEAST 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY TO KEEP YOUR ENGINE HEALTHY AND YOUR CAR WOULD NEVER LEAK OIL OR BREAK DOWN.  THAT'S THE WORST THING TO DO IS TO DRIVE A CAR AWAY IN THE VERY COLD WINTER BEFORE IT WARMS UP AINCE ALL RUBBERS ARE FROZEN AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS COLD AND NEEDS TO WARM UP SLOWLY. IT'S A FACT THEY NEVER TELL YOU.

I AM SELLING 3 OF MY HIGH END CARS SINCE I HAVE TOO MANY VEHICLES AND I HAVE BARELY EVEN DRIVEN THIS LAND ROVER IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS IT HAS BEEN GARAGED BECAUSE I ALSO HAVE A HUMMER AND AN SL500 I WILL ALSO LIST FOR SALE AND AN EXOTIC LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO, I WILL BE MOVING TO MIAMI IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS SO I ALSO ACTUALLY HAVE MY HOUSE FOR SALE, I AM ONLY KEEPING MY HUMMER H2 AND MY LAMBO AND SELLING MY BENZ AND THIS LAND ROVER AND MY EVERYDAY CHRYSLER...
I HAD PURCHASED THIS LAND ROVER LAST YEAR FOR MY GF TO DRIVE BUT AFTER WE BROKE UP SHORTLY AFTER THAN I STARTED DRIVING IT A FEW DAYS A WEEK JUST TO WORK AND BACK IN THE WINTER THAN I JUST GARAGED IT ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND I DRIVE MAINLY MY HUMMER AND MY CHRYSLER.
IT ACTUALLY DOES PRETTY GOOD ON GAS AND HAS LOTS OF POWER WHEN YOU NEED IT.

I HAD A TUNE UP DONE AND CHANGED THE SYNTHETIC OIL AND ALL FILTERS AND CHANGED ALL 8 SPARK PLUGS AND COILS AND MY MECHANIC ALSO RECOMMENDED I REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT AND THE WATER PUMP SO I DID... AND DRAINED AND REPLACED THE ANTIFREEZE AND HE EVEN REPPLACED THE RADIATOR BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ONE HAD A SMALL LEAK THAT I NOTICED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND CHECKED ALL THE BRAKES AND SUSPENSION AND ALL THE BALL JOINTS ETC... EVERYTHING WAS IN GOOD HEALTH.
ALL TIRES ARE ABOUT 75% GOOD WITH LOTS OF TREAD LEFT...
THERE ARE NO LEAKS COMING FROM MY LR3, IT WAS PARKED IN MY GARAGE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THE GROUND IS TOTALLY DRY AND WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF OIL LEAK OR ANY WATER OR COOLANT LEAK AT ALL!

YOU ARE ALSO INSURED BY EBAY BUYER PROTECTION WITH THIS 2006 LAND ROVER LR3 SE V8 FOR UP TO $50k AND IF YOU GET THE CAR SHIPPED TO YOU AND PAY IN FULL WITHOUT SEEN THE VEHICLE AND YOU FIND IT NOT AS ADVERTISED OR ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION OR ANYTHING BROKEN AND NOT DISCLOSED IN MY LISTING THWN EBAY PAYS FOR ALL REPAIRS OR REFUNDS YOU IN FULL AND THAT IF I DONT HELP YOU FIRST BUT I AM GIVING ANY BUYER A 6 MONTHS WARRANTY ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG OR BRAKES IN THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION THAN I WILL PAY FOR REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT.

Lexus leads J.D. Power's Vehicle Dependability Study for 2021

Thu, Feb 18 2021

J.D. Power's latest Vehicle Dependability Study is out, and, not surprisingly, Lexus sits at the top for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Right behind Lexus is Porsche, followed by Kia, which is the highest-ranked mass-market brand in the study. Genesis, last year's top-ranked brand (in its first year included in the results), fell from first to eighth, though the G80 sedan did earn an award in its midsize luxury segment. The Porsche 911 was called out as the Most Dependable Model by J.D. Power for the second time in the last three years. The vehicles being studied are from the 2018 model year, which means owners have had three years to get to know their cars and trucks. It's notable that this year's study shows a marked improvement in overall vehicle dependability as tracked by J.D. Power. The overall level of problems, scored by the number of problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), declined by 10% compared to last year.  "The study results validate what we have known for some time," said Dave Sargent, vice president of global automotive at J.D. Power. "Automakers are making increasingly dependable vehicles — but there are still some problem areas that need to be addressed and some warning signs on the horizon." Tesla makes its inaugural appearance on the Dependability Study, though its score of 176 PP100 isn't official. Tesla is the only automaker that has chosen not to grant J.D. Power permission to survey its owners in all 50 states. As we've pointed out in the past, the Vehicle Dependability Study includes eight major vehicle categories grouped by J.D. Power as follows: audio/communication/entertainment/navigation (ACEN); engine/transmission; exterior; interior; features/controls/displays (FCD); driving experience; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and seats. All issues reported by owners are all tracked equally, which means a problematic phone pairing procedure dings an automaker's rating the same as a blown engine or transmission. And in fact, the ACEN category has more reported problems than any other, which means the majority of problems reported don't lead to a vehicle that leaves its owner stranded. 10 most memorable cars and SUVs of 2019

Tue, Dec 24 2019

It's no surprise that a car reviewer will drive a large number of cars over the course of a year. Indeed, when the clock strikes midnight on Dec 31, I will have driven 75 new cars, trucks and SUV this year (and one old Peugeot) over the course of weekly evaluation loans and first drive events. That sure seems like a lot. Some definitely got more attention than others, and some came and went without leaving much of an impression – I completely forgot I drove a Kia Forte. Yet in the spirit of this day, I thought I'd pick the 10 that I would love to see under the Christmas tree tomorrow morning. You know, just in case you were looking to get me something. I'll also throw in a couple disappointments that were memorable for the wrong reasons. They'd get sent back to the store on Boxing Day. Lexus LC 500 Pictured below and resplendent in its Flare Yellow metallic paint, the car that would reach highest on my list is the divine Lexus LC 500. As a devout lover of GT cars, the LC ticks all the boxes. Muscular and characterful engine? V8, check. Beautifully made and memorable interior? It's gorgeous, to hell with Remote Touch. Check. Comfortable and reasonably practical? Superb seats and, uh, yeah. Makes me want to stand there and stare at it? You bet. Though I long figured my heart would say LC but my head "Porsche 911," after this go-around, that's no longer the case. LC, pretty please. 2020-lexus-lc500-f34-2 View 19 Photos Polestar 1 I actually feel lucky that I got to drive the Polestar 1. Only 150 will be produced each year, and it's a far more special thing than it would initially appear. And that's despite initially appearing to be a beautiful, classic two-door GT car with a roof so rakish it's only possible because it's made of carbon fiber. That itÂ’s a massively powerful plug-in hybrid with more all-electric range than any other PHEV is a thick dollop of whipped cream on a slice of Toscakaka. You know, Swedish dessert, Swedish car. Fine, I'll stick to Ikea references.  Polestar1_Launch_SanFrancisco-0014 View 44 Photos Volvo V60 Cross Country Speaking of Sweden, did I drive this car off the road there? Sure did! And despite this, the V60 Cross Country scratches that certain wagon itch and looks sensational to boot. I wish it were available with the T8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, but it's best not to get greedy at Christmas.

BMW and Jaguar Land Rover to jointly develop electric car tech

Wed, Jun 5 2019

FRANKFURT – BMW and Jaguar Land Rover on Wednesday said they will jointly develop electric motors, transmissions and power electronics, unveiling yet another industry alliance designed to lower the costs of developing electric cars. Both carmakers are under pressure to roll out zero-emission vehicles to meet stringent anti-pollution rules, but have struggled to maintain profit margins faced with the rising costs of making electric, connected and autonomous cars. "Together, we have the opportunity to cater more effectively for customer needs by shortening development time and bringing vehicles and state-of-the-art technologies more rapidly to market," said BMW board member Klaus Froehlich. BMW and Jaguar Land Rover said they will save costs through shared development, production planning and joint purchasing of electric car components. Both companies will produce electric drivetrains in their own manufacturing facilities, BMW said. The BMW Jaguar Land Rover pact comes as rivals FiatChrysler and Renault explore a $35 billion tie-up of the Italian-American and French carmaking groups. Nick Rogers, Jaguar Land Rover's engineering director said, "We've proven we can build world beating electric cars but now we need to scale the technology to support the next generation of Jaguar and Land Rover products." BMW was in talks with rival Daimler about developing electric car components but was also in discussions with Jaguar Land Rover, a company it once owned, to explore an alliance on engines. BMW already has a deal to supply an 8 cylinder engine to Jaguar Land Rover. Carmakers are increasingly open to sharing electric car parts because the technology is expensive and because customers no longer buy a car based on what engine a vehicle has. "Carmakers are much less precious about sharing electric car technology because it is much harder to create product differentiation with electric car tech. They all accelerate fast, and everybody can do quality and ride and handling," according to Carl-Peter Forster a former chief executive of Tata Motors and a former BMW executive. Jaguar Land Rover is still run by former BMW managers, including Ralf Speth the company's chief executive who spent 20 years at BMW prior to joining JLR, and Wolfgang Ziebart, the engineer who oversaw Jaguar's I-Pace electric car program, who is a former head of research and development at BMW.
