06 Land Range Rover Hse Fullsize 4x4 Awd 4wd Clean Supercharged Blue No Reserve on 2040-cars
Waterford, Michigan, United States
2006 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER FULL SIZE HSE NO RESERVE AUCTION STARTING AT $1 Highest bidder owns it! Up for sale is the wife's Range Rover.
I originally bought this car for my wife. Only the best
for her! The only problem is she doesn't like the gas millage. It
is not that bad for the size. It still gets about 18 mpg highway. She was used
to a V6 Mercedes Benz R class. So now it's up for sale, you know what
they say Happy wife happy life.
Mechanically this is a very healthy car. There are no dash lights on, no codes pull up.
She runs drives shifts ect... like it is still a brand new car and she
looks like it too. When you buy a luxury car like this it better be! You
may find cheaper ones out there that are not as healthy. By the time you
get them fixed up to be as nice as this one already is you've spent more than
you would have if you just bought healthy one to begin with and you have to go
through all the headache of getting it repaired.
I did give it an upgrade to the Supercharged style.
That includes the Front Grill, both side vents, and the taillights.
Front and side grills are both painted gloss black that match the theme of the
truck. Only thing i didn't do was the
emblems they are about $20 shipped here on ebay if you want to make it look
completely like the Supercharged Range Rover which are considerably more expensive model.
Even, used, of this year they cost about $10,000 more than these sell for
on average.
You might think I'm crazy for listing a high end car like a custom
Range Rover here on eBay for $1 and not putting a reserve.
I probably am It may end up going for thousands less than what its
worth, but I feel confident enough that as nice as it is it should go
for a fair price. Not hiding anything with the car the condition it speaks for
itself.
I have tried to list everything I can think of about the car good
and bad. I also included pictures of everything and lots of them. I want the
new buyer to be happy with the car and not have
any disappointments when you get it. If there is anything you want to
know please ask me I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have, get
you more pictures of the car. If your are able to I defiantly recommend coming to
see the car and take it for a test drive. If your not local I'll do my best to
address any concerns you have. If your willing to pay for an inspection I will
even drop it off at a local dealership so they can look at it for you.
Take some time and go over the pictures look for all the little
details. I have posted plenty of pictures
below for you to see. Also, everyone, the Range looks amazing in the picture
she looks just as amazing when you are standing in front of her! Please
remember though this is a 8 year old truck with 110k miles. It is not brand new and is not perfect nor am
I trying to sell it as she is. For example the wrap job isn’t perfect not show
quality but it is a very decent job. Driver
seat has some wear and there's almost a barely noticeable crack on the left rear
tail light. With the 24” Rims they do not have the TPS Sensors in them so the
dash light does come on with those on the car. It does NOT come on when the
original rims are installed. You can purchase the TPS Sensors (Tire Pressure
Sensor) for about $100 shipped for all 4 tires here on ebay. I took some close
up pictures to show you the flaws I noticed with the car so you can see for
yourself. It is a very nice car but please don’t expect it to be perfect no
used car you buy anywhere is going to be perfect, if you’re expecting absolute
perfection this is not the car for you. I would recommend calling your local
range rover dealership and purchasing it brand new. She is one heck of a SUV
you can be Proud to own!
If you do have any questions or want more information about
anything feel free to message me here on ebay or give me a call or text at 248-747-2196
The upgraded Original Rims with the TPS sensors and
tires are available for sale to the winner for an additional $800 on top of the
auction price if you would like them. PICTURES: INTERIOR PICTURES WERE TAKEN PRIOR TO WRAPPING The car is sold As Is Where Is. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. If you need a ride for the airport please give me a call and let me know ahead of time when, so I can pick you up if needed. I do my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible and list everything I can think of, I am only human and I have quite a few cars so it is possible I missed something. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give me a call at 248-747-2196 with any questions you may have or to see the vehicle. If you are interested in purchasing it you are welcome and in fact I encourage you to come see the car before you place your bid. Vehicle is for sale locally seller reserves right to end auction early due to local sale other wise NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGHEST BIDDER WIN. Deposit must be made within 24 hours no exceptions, deposits are non refundable. Full payment must be made within 3 days unless prior arrangements have been made. If you have under 10 Feedback you must call me and let me know before you bid. Remember its the one who bids HIGHEST who WINS not the one who bids last, don't wait till the last minute and miss out! I have made that mistake before! Good Luck and have fun! |

Best cars for snow and ice in 2023 and 2024
Tue, Jan 23 2024What's the best car for snow? The real answer is "the one with winter tires." What do we mean by that? You could have the finest, most advanced all-wheel-drive system or four-wheel drive in the world, but if you're running all-seasons (the spork of tires), your fancy four-wheeler won't matter much. The odds are, any vehicle on the road running good winter tires will probably perform adequately in slippery, slushy and/or snowy road conditions. (Here's a more complete explanation of why winter tires are totally worth it). In other words, you don't really need any of the cars on this list. With a set of winter tires, countless others will do the job, and even these will be at their best with proper rubber. You can find a variety of winter tires for your car here at Tire Rack. Keep in mind that you will need a full set of four snow tires for safety and performance, no matter what you're driving. The days of your dad putting just two snows on the family truckster to get it moving in a straight line are long gone. Don't get us wrong, getting a car that performs well in snow and ice is still a worthy criteria for car buyers. According to the U.S. Transportation Department, 70% of Americans live in places that get snow and ice. And much of the country has been blasted with arctic air for much of the new year. So let's look at the cars. First, we're highlighting choices for a variety of buyers and price points. Second, we're not just considering snow; we're considering general wintery conditions people will experience driving to work or school. As such, these are all choices with advanced all-wheel-drive systems, usually with "torque-vectoring" systems that not only automatically shunt power front and back, but side to side between the rear axles. Most have extra ground clearance for getting through deep snow, and we prefer those vehicles with more responsive steering, throttles and transmissions that provide a greater sense of vehicle control in slippery conditions.  Acura RDX Read our Acura RDX Review Acura's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system was one of the first to offer torque-vectoring, and besides often being touted for its ability to greatly enhanced dry-road handling, its benefits in the slick stuff can be profound. It's actually surprising that Acura hasn't leaned into this capability further by offering more rugged versions of its vehicles.
With a new Jaguar and the Shell app, your car can pay for its own gas
Wed, Feb 15 2017Contactless payments are making their way into the car. Jaguar and Shell have the first major rollout, allowing you to pay for fuel through the car's touchscreen. Of course you'll still have to get out of the car to actually pump the fuel into the car, but hey, progress, right? Apple Pay and PayPal will be available payment methods from the start, and Android Pay will be added later. For this all to work, you'll need a new Jaguar (or Land Rover) with the InControl infotainment system, a connected phone with the InControl app and Shell app, some space in your tank, and some electronic money. When you pull up to a Shell station and launch the Shell app through the touchscreen, the car will use geolocation to figure out which station you're at and then prompt you to enter the pump number you're next to (don't want to pay for someone else's fuel now do you?). Once that's done, you tell the system how much fuel you want (it's not clear if you can just fill the tank like most normal people do) and then the screen in the car shows you a receipt; one is also sent to you via email. While this might just seem like trading one screen for another and entering info through your car instead of at the pump, contactless payments also have an added level of security over pulling out a credit card. (Credit card skimmers, which steal card data when you go to swipe at a kiosk or ATM, have been popular at gas stations.) It will also be welcome in the winter months, when you can limit your exposure time. Plus you'll never again have to respond to this incomplete sentence, which greets us at Shell stations everywhere: "Is this debit card?" InControl is available on every Jaguar and Land Rover model. And if you get this Shell app working on an F-Pace with the Jaguar Activity Key, you'll have the latest in minimal-touch technology. The system will roll out to people in the UK first and should arrive in the US later this year. Related Video: Jaguar Land Rover Technology Smartphone Luxury shell paypal
A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]
Thu, Dec 18 2014Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
