This 4-door, 4-wheel ABS,4-speed automatic, 4WD, 5-passenger vehicle is a great and comfortable ride where you can adjust the cooling system to be "ice cold" in the summer and the heating system to be "warm and cozy" in the winter.
The driver and passenger can adjust his or her own riding comforts by the individual heating and cooling controls, heated seats and posture/sitting adjustments.
This vehicle has a rebuilt engine with a little over 100,000 miles on it, but the odometer reads over 200,000 miles. Also, I just put a new battery in it last month.
This vehicle NEEDS someone with the time to give "Lanny" (that's what I call him) some serious TLC: Lanny's fuel door does not close properly, the rubber seal on the gas cap needs to be replaced, new air filter is needed and maybe a couple of O2 sensors; the electronic issues it has are: the radio and rear sunroof does not work and the right side doors, front and back only operate manually. new windshield wiper blades are also needed, but the blades do work fine both front and rear when it rains. Fuel economy: city miles: 13 highway miles: 17, gas tank: 24.60 gallons.
The front sunroof works well as do the windows on all of the doors; the tires, including the spare are good, equipment also includes a trailer tow package, and remote control anti-theft protection keyless entry.

Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota
Wed, 12 Dec 2012As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.
