AMAZING CONDITION AND CHEEEEEAAAAAAPPPP!
THIS IS A GIFT!  I JUST RELISTED AT A BELOW WHOLESALE PRICE TO SELL IT QUICK!!

I am selling my 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE.  This SUV is in immaculate condition inside and out.  It always starts and runs flawlessly.  It shines like new and runs like it too.  It is as shiny as the day it rolled off the showroom floor.  This is the loaded up Rover with the most beautiful front end and all the bells and whistles.  It has power leather seats, compact disc changer, several sunroof, 4 wheel drive, and fog lights.  It still smells like new inside.  The interior is as close to new as you will ever see.  There is no cracking or tears in the seats, stains in the carpet, and comes with embroidered floor mats.  Everything works as it should.
The SUV is reliable and comfortable as can be.  Although it looks like new it is not new.  It has minor wear and tear here and there but nothing major.  The most noteworthy are the scrapes that have been touched up on the corners of the front bumper and the dollar bill size dent on the driver's side rear corner.  These are strictly cosmetic and don't affect performance, reliability, or longevity whatsoever.
The air conditioning is freezing cold and the heat is scalding hot.  It tracks remarkably straight and quietly.  The engine and transmission are strong and the tires and brakes are like new.
This is an extremely well maintained, reliable, garaged, non smoker, unmolested, Land Rover with tons of life left in it.  It was inspected this week and I was assured that the vehicle is as fantastic mechanically as it looks and drives.  I am willing to drive it to your local mechanic of choice for a prepurchase inspection.  This truck as a clean title.
Please review my feedback and bid with confidence.  I am a straight shooter.
Bid to win.  There is no reserve.  The Rover is up for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if there are no bids so bid early so you dont miss this one.  It has low miles, is extremely clean, and is one of the most desirable years of Land Rover.

2020 Land Rover Defender vs. 2020 Jeep Wrangler: How they compare on paper

Tue, Sep 10 2019

For ages, the Jeep Wrangler has had the serious off-road SUV market in America all to itself, especially when it comes to two-door variants. But competition is coming, and the first on its way is the 2020 Land Rover Defender, which was just revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Each packages retro looks and impressive off-road capability, but does one have an advantage? We decided to take a look into each SUV's specifications and compare them on their engines, drivetrains, interior space and towing among other things, to see how they stack up. Since both SUVs are offered in two-door and four-door versions, we've made sure to feature both versions. You can find all the vital stats in the chart below, followed by more in-depth analysis. Engines and drivetrains The Land Rover is the clear high-performance option of these two SUVs. Its base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, offered only in the four-door Defender 110, is more powerful than either of the gas engines offered on the Jeep Wrangler. The Wrangler's four-cylinder matches it on torque, at least. The optional turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six in the Defender makes over 100 more horsepower and pound-feet of torque than either Jeep gas engine. But if you're looking for diesel propulsion, along with its associated torque and fuel economy, the Wrangler will be your only option. Final specs haven't been released, but in the Ram 1500, the same engine makes 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy hasn't been announced for the Land Rover or the diesel Wrangler. But if fuel economy is a concern, the four-cylinder Wrangler is the most frugal of the SUVs we have numbers on. As for transmissions, the Wrangler is your only choice if you have to have a manual. It's available on both the two-door and four-door models, but only with the V6 engine. If you don't mind an automatic transmission, both SUVs come with variations on the ZF eight-speed auto. Getting the power to the wheels is another area where these two SUVs diverge. The Jeep is very traditional with a standard selectable four-wheel-drive system with two-wheel drive, and low- and high-range four-wheel drive modes. On the Sahara, there's an available full-time four-wheel drive mode, but the other modes are still available. On the Land Rover, you get full-time four-wheel drive, the same kind used on the Land Rover Range Rover.

Land Rover planning SVX hardcore off-roaders

Sun, May 3 2015

The new Special Vehicle Operations division at Jaguar Land Rover has already given us an array of ultimate wheeled creations, but it isn't quite done yet. Next, according to Car and Driver, will be a new line of SVX models. Not to be confused with the Subaru coupe from the 1990s (which also had all-wheel drive, come to think of it), Land Rover's SVX models will be hardcore off-roaders. Details are few and far between at the moment, but they're said to take inspiration from rough-terrain events like the Dakar Rally and Camel Trophy as inspiration – different from the Ford F-150 Raptor that takes its cues from the Baja 1000. Last we heard, Land Rover was planning a hardcore Defender to send the model off to pasture in high-performance style, and considering an extreme Range Rover as well. If either of those rumors materialize, they look like they'd be prime candidates for the SVX line. JLR Special Vehicle Operations has already showcased what it can do with the high-performance Range Rover Sport SVR, the luxed-up Range Rover SVAutobiography, the exclusive F-Type Project 7 and the continuation classic Lightweight E-Type. C/D confirms that further SVR models are in store to replace Jaguar's R-S performance models, while the SVX line would likely remain exclusive to Land Rover.

Jaguar Land Rover said to favor Europe rather than US for new plant

Sat, Feb 21 2015

With its plants running at full tilt, Jaguar Land Rover is in desperate need of additional manufacturing capacity. That's led to reports that the Indian-owned British company was looking to join European, Japanese and Korean automakers in America's southern states, all while it opened new plants in the UK and China. The company even announced it would be building the Land Rover Discovery Sport in Brazil. Now, though, reports are suggesting that JLR is looking at Europe for a new facility, rather than the US, with Automotive News claiming the company's execs are eyeing the lower costs afforded by Austria and Turkey. The report cites the Birmingham Post (UK), the broadsheet that's closest to the company's headquarters. According to the original report, labor costs and wage disputes with unions are ruling out another factory in the UK, while those same disputes with labor outfits may also be souring the automaker on a US facility. "At this stage Europe seems more likely than America. The union pay dispute had a big effect," an unnamed source told the Post. "There is a feeling of alienation that has been left over from the way the pay talks were handled." JLR, meanwhile, offered a solid no comment to the Post, with a spokesperson saying, "No decision has been taken on future manufacturing locations. We will continue to evaluate opportunities to increase our manufacturing footprint in the future." Related Video:
