Up for sale is my 2003 Land Rover Discovery S. 109K original miles. Blue with black interior. This is a well sorted truck. Runs and drives perfect. Head gaskets, water pump and oil pump were all replaced by previous owner this past winter a little over 5000 miles ago. If you know anything about the Discos, you will know that these are 3 of the biggest maintenance issues on these trucks and you won't have to worry because they have all been taken care of. I have driven the truck about 500 miles since I have had it. I also own another Discovery. My wife is not thrilled about me coming home with this 2nd one so this one is up for sale. I have had the truck for a couple of months. There are no mechanical issues with the truck but there are a couple of small cosmetic issues. There is a little paint de-lamination on the Roof (see pictures) and a small spot on the right front fender with a little pant de-lamination as well. This is a common issue on these trucks. The body shop quoted me $500 to fix the de-lamination issues. If you look closely, at the rear pic of the tuck, you will also see that there is a small hole in the rear bumper. I am sure it could be easily fixed. The truck is clean with no dings or dents. There is a rip in the driver's seat (see pics). Tires are all 80% including the spare. Check engine light is on as in most Disco's due to an Oxygen Sensor code. Engine runs perfect. It does not need to be fixed unless you live in an area where you get emission/smog tested. My other Disco has the same code and has had the light on for over 20K miles and it also runs perfect.. In a nutshell, this is a great truck & is ready to go. It is an 11 year old truck so there is normal wear and tear as you would expect but nothing out of the ordinary. There is also an rear backup camera installed (see pics). Let's say you just got a big promotion at work or the kids are moving out of the house, and you finally have some extra money. You decide to blow it all at once and treat yourself by upgrading your ride. Naturally, you look to a luxury automaker. What do you choose?
Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you.
