For sale we have a left hand drive 1985 Land Rover Station wagon with 7 seats!

Only 138.889 km WHICH EQUATES TO ONLY 86,000 MILES FROM NEW. Very good condition, as you can see in the photos! NO RUST! It is from Spain!  Land Rovers of this age from the UK and the rest of northern Europe have been exposed to the salt on the roads etc!
Not here in Spain. Check out the photos!
What you see in the photos is how the car is with an untouched by salt & bad weather perfect chassis!
Although made under licence for the Rover group in and assembled by Santana under License, it is pure Land Rover with it's Rover designed 2 & a Quarter Diesel and the LT 85 box as used by Land Rover themselves due to its high strength on their V8 models.

We have installed brand new rear lights and rear cappings as well as light guards. Freshly painted fenders. New mirrors. All brand new lights on the front including clear crystal H4 headlights on the front as well as a brand new grille and front light surrounds and protection guards. Excellent newly trimmed interior, front seat belts and with the extra brand new jump seat in the back there is room for 7 people! All new chequer plate, new arches. It has an extra fuel tank as an original optional extra. You could use this as veggie oil tank.
It would make an excellent go anywhere Safari or mountain tour Vehicle. Once registered in the USA you could install the excellent 200 or 300 TDi from a Discovery for the ultimate series 3. Fancy something quicker? Plenty of old Range Rovers around which can give up their V8. People have even installed big block Chevys in these cars!
Study the pictures! I think they speak for themselves!
For the full low down on this car go to the Gas Donkey Land Rovers Facebook page!
More photos and Video!
Parts are not a problem for this car. If you need it I can get it for you as I have access to a large supply of new parts for these cars.

A few typical Land Rover dents but overall a very nice clean car, very smooth and reliable to drive and lives up to it's low miles. With the very highly sought after 5 Speed LT85 Gearbox it is very economical. One of the best original non welded Land Rover's this side of a full restoration. I have driven it regularly with a mix of Freeway and mountain roads with no problems.
The car passed it's inspection with no problem.
I am constantly seeking good original Classic land Rovers so please check back. The car is obviously original and follows the rules for being let into the States down to the letter. 1985 so well over the 25 year rule!
A lot of competitors who want you to pay loads more for their cars are scaremongering to try and put people off of buying from source in order to get a better deal. They would do as they are charging ridiculously high prices for these cars. I repeat it is over 25 years and genuinely original, IT GETS IN. I have agents in the U.S. that are U.S. Customs Bonded importers if you need help getting it in.
If you would like any extras like big Black modular wheels and Tyres fitted before entering the USA in order to avoid customs charges please let me know and I will fit them.

Please check my FULL 100% feedback I have sold cars to Germany and the United States my last Land Rover is living happily in Colorado and another is on it's way to Long Island. Long distance buying can be scary but I would urge to check my feedback. I can show you any bit of the car you desire as a guarantee that I actually do have this car. More questions? Contact me and I will give a Skype contact number, it's easier to talk over the phone and with Skype it's free.

Gas Donkey Land Rover.
Please note this is a car from 1985! Not a new one please study the photos on ebay and request the link to Photobucket for more. It is not a new car. Once this car is in the States with the rare long range tanks, 5 Speed LT85 box, low miles it will be instantly worth much more. Similar 2 Door cars have gone upwards for $20,000 this is a 5 Door with 7 seats.
Please no people who do not have the intention to pay up or decide that now is not the right time once the auction is won. I don't have enough money as was the case last time!
Buyers, if you do not purchase I will pursue for lost selling fees. Sorry to the genuine people out there but this is happening a heck of a lot now on eBay. Deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours and full payment within 5 days.

Jaguar Land Rover rescues British off-road tuner Bowler

Wed, Dec 18 2019

Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicles Operation (SVO) rescued British off-road tuner Bowler from an uncertain fate. The firm has worked with Land Rover in the past, but it has always been independent. While JLR isn't in an ideal position to make acquisitions, and its recent financial troubles are well documented, Bowler was on the brink of shutting down. The small, 34-year old company had entered administration, and the 26 people it employed risked losing their jobs. Monetary details haven't been released, meaning we don't know how much Bowler was worth, but the firm pointed out it's now fully owned by SVO. It joins SV, Vehicle Personalization, and Classic as the division's fourth pillar. It's too early to tell precisely where Bowler will fit in the JLR latticework, because the initial focus will be on stabilizing the company. It will remain based in Belper, England, and every member of its full-time staff has been offered a position as a JLR employee. Bowler made a name for itself by turning the original Defender into a rally car, and Land Rover said the expertise it acquired during decades of racing is highly sought after, so that's a hint we'll see more hardcore models developed jointly by the two companies sooner or later. The new Defender would lend itself well to the Bowler treatment. The Bowler name could replace the SVX nameplate used on the stillborn, V8-powered Discovery, for example. The tuner's focus on off-pavement performance means we're unlikely to see a Bowler-badged Jaguar, but anything is possible as global demand for SUVs (especially quick ones) continues to rise. What's certain is that, once Bowler is stable, it will grow bigger.

Fully Charged rolls into season 3 with VW XL1 and electric Land Rover

Sat, Jan 18 2014

It's been some time since last we visited with British actor and electric car proponent Robert Llewellyn and his web-based video series, Fully Charged. The show, now sponsored by Ecotricity, has started rolling out its third season and now has available two episodes featuring a pair of truly unique – and diametrically opposed – vehicles. The first installment starts with some interesting numbers involving the host's Nissan Leaf and its energy consumption over the past 36,000 miles, but soon moves on to the ultra-aero, ultra-expensive Volkswagen XL1. Now, if you've already seen the footage from our own XL1 first drive review, there's not a lot new here except, perhaps, more enthusiasm and a better listen of the two-cylinder diesel kicking in. Still, it's a great reminder of a truly unique vehicle and we enjoyed the segment. The second episode features an electrified Land Rover Defender 110. This is a vehicle you'd more likely see on an African safari than at the local mall. It's not a home-built conversion either, but rather, something the company has put together "for the boffins to create the ideas and see if they work." Boasting a 50-mile range, it's certainly something we like to take on an off-road adventure. Llewellyn is given the chance to do just that, and though the course is somewhat milder than what we might attempt, it does feature a stretch of river and some rough, rutted tracks. You can watch both episodes by scrolling below let us know which vehicle you'd prefer in the comments. This writer is going with the four-wheel-drive. This content is hosted by a third party. Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.
The official press release is posted below.
