hi all
here is my defender 110 total rebuild up for sale have owned it since 2009 when i brought it it had been well looked after and so i decided to do a rebuild project done with love and satisfaction it has been stripped down to the chassis shot blasted red oxide coating and heavy black chassis painted then wax oiled ,from chassis up every nut and bolt is stainless steel thought out ,every light hinge and bit of trim is new every thing inside is new doors are new that includes door locks rubber seals mats seat covers ect nothing old at all the only thing that is not original is the engine and gearbox and axles witch are a 300 tdi with a r380 gearbox and transfer box ,the axles are from a 300 tdi so is fitted with disc breaks all round even the tool try under the drivers seat is stainless steel along with the sound proofing on the floor pans nothing has been untouched and there is well over 500 photo's to go with the rebuild as history which can be shown if needed this truck is 25 years old next month i could go on and on about this truck but i will leave it up to you guys to ask what ever you like so feel free hope i can help regards mario |

I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Jaguar Land Rover in talks for Southern US factory
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Jaguar Land Rover is getting serious about global expansion, and that means it can't only build its vehicles in the UK anymore. The British automaker is cutting the ribbon at its new plant in China tomorrow, marking the opening of its first factory outside the UK. In 2016, it will open another factory in Brazil. But the latest intel has it that JLR is looking into a US factory, as well.
The report, which comes to us from the Sunday Times by way of Automotive News Europe, indicates that the company is evaluating locations for a North American factory, with options centering around Southern right-to-work states like South Carolina, where BMW operates its plant in Spartanburg and a wide array of other automotive operations are based as well. The JLR plant would reportedly ramp up to a capacity of 200,000 units per year.
In related news, while that new plant JLR is inaugurating in Changshu, China, is initially slated to produce the Range Rover Evoque, it is also expected to start building the new Discovery Sport as well - just like the Halewood plant in the UK that has handled Evoque assembly from the start and which just built its first Discovery Sport, as well.
