Land Rover Defender 90
This Land rover defender 90 was recently imported in my latest batch of Land Rover defenders, It cleared customs no problem and met all the criteria in order for it to be allowed in the united states it went through an examination and a VIN check which it passed all with flying colors, it's now been issued with a clean Florida title. This Land Rover was fine structurally and mechanically but the bodywork was lacking being 25 years old the paint was faded and looking tired. I had the vehicle completely sanded then painted in a green and black theme with the Land Rover metallic green. The vehicle has some nice leather seats that are very comfortable, inside is in fantastic condition also everything works as it should it starts first time every time as expected it has the 2.25 petrol (gas) engine which is very good runner, it doesn't use any water nor oil, as with any defender I have it has a through inspection and any imperfections are taken care of this one passed with flying inspections had no rust the underbody was steam cleaned to remove any road grime and then was fully under painted to ensure protection from the elements. The engine was serviced with new spark plugs, coil, thermostat, coolant flush, oil and filter, brakes were checked and are at 90% remaining. New rims and tires were put on the vehicle which look great and add to the whole look. The rear bed was covered in Linex to add to the tough look and feel of the defender.

Jaguar Land Rover names new manufacturing chief for EV transformation
Thu, May 3 2018LONDON — Britain's biggest carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is replacing its director for manufacturing as it prepares its plants for an electrified future, the firm said on Thursday. JLR operates three factories in its home market but is building its first electric car, the I-PACE, in Austria. The Indian-owned automaker's Chief Executive Ralf Speth told Reuters earlier this year he is waiting for more information on trading conditions after Brexit before he decides whether to make electric cars in Britain. On Thursday, he said Executive Director for Manufacturing Wolfgang Stadler is retiring from the business, to be replaced by Director of Quality and Automotive Safety Grant McPherson starting July 1. "He will oversee the ongoing investment into our UK and global manufacturing, transforming our plants to enable Jaguar Land Rover's exciting electrified future," Speth said.
