Lamborghini teases something 'Reactive' for Geneva

Lamborghini is teasing a big reveal at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show on March 3, but the exact identity of the vehicle remains a mystery. However, Lambo is including a fairly obvious clue in its video that suggests one likely candidate. The Italian brand's clip shows off some rocky roadsides, a glimpse at the interior and a brake rotor. It also claims this is, "the most reactive car ever." The hint is hiding in plain sight with the slashing S that appears in each line of text. Lamborghini was seen filming the Aventador SV at the end of January along a road not unlike the one on display in this clip. It boasted a new front-end treatment and a massive rear diffuser and rear wing. Also, that S-shaped slash in the video is practically identical to the one the side of the car that was spotted. Power is almost certainly increased as well, but like the model's true identity, the brand isn't giving specifics yet. Of course, it's possible this clue could just be a red herring to throw off fans. Regardless, Lambo definitely has something exciting in store for the Swiss show. Related Video:

Lamborghini Urus finally set to debut on Dec. 4

It's been more than two years since Lamborghini announced it was planning to build its second SUV, the Urus. It's been more than five years since the original concept was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show back in 2012. Finally, on Dec. 4, the Italian automaker will reveal the full production version at an event in Sant'Agata Bolognese. We've seen plenty of concepts and spy shots of the Urus by now. We know it will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 making 650 horsepower and upwards of 600 pound-feet of torque. A plug-in hybrid — a first for Lamborghini — will follow soon after. Pricing hasn't been announced, but look for a base MSRP of at least $200,000. In the teaser video, Lamborghini is making a big deal about this being the first super sport utility vehicle. If any automaker can back up that claim, it's Lamborghini. This isn't going to be some rough-and-tumble V12-powered off-roader like the LM002. This is a high-performance machine in a similar, but far more over-the-top, vein as the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 M. The timing of the reveal is an interesting one. The event is just days after the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. Rather than compete for coverage, Lamborghini is taking a more modern approach to the Urus' reveal. Infiniti takes QX60 on vacation for National Lampoon-inspired ad

Infiniti is packing up its version of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster for a new ad inspired by the American comedy classic National Lampoon's Vacation. Well, actually the 30-second spot replaces the green station wagon with a QX60, but the commercial does a great job of evoking the movie in a short time. The release timing is clearly perfect too given the remake hitting theaters on July 29 with Ed Helms and Christina Applegate. Infiniti's ad replicates one of the film's memorable scenes, but it replaces Chevy Chase behind the wheel of the Family Truckster and Christie Brinkley in a Ferrari 308. Instead, we get Ethan Embry in a QX60 and a blonde in a Lamborghini Gallardo droptop. The slight twist at the end really makes the commercial work, though. The ad starts airing nationally on July 9, but you can watch it streaming above now. Beyond just the surface-level homage, Infiniti gives the spot a slightly deeper connection to the Vacation series. As Ethan and the blonde keep up with each other on the highway, Christie Brinkley is revealed as his wife who catches this action and ends the scene with an ironic response: "Honey, a blonde in a convertible? Seriously?"
