Super-Bad!

Now if you're into bragging rights, it doesn't get much better than this! This competition killer is a 2008 Lamborghini Superleggera with just 11K miles. The car alone would get you a bunch of props, but the owner of this one is a firm believer in the "Stock Sucks" theory. He sent it to Dallas Performance where they spent a bunch of money making it one of the fastest street legal cars around. This thing is now putting out 1,100 wheel horse power! If you can't earn some state issued driving awards with that, your local highway patrol should lay off the donuts! If you think your ticker can handle this car, give me a shout and we'll get you strapped in!

Less than 2000 miles on the build. I've been building her up for the past year and I can tell you this is the perfect Twin Turbo opportunity for someone looking to get into 1000+whp cars.

This car is near perfect on the exterior. Only blemish of note is a small scratch out of sight under the car on the diffuser, well less than normal wear and tear as I had the dealer swap for the freshest one on the floor at the time of purchase.

Interior is equally near perfect with the only blemish being one small hairline scratch on the driver's side door panel, out of sight when the door is shut and near impossible to find in broad daylight unless you know exactly where to look.

Wheels have never been curbed and have received a gloss-black treatment to better compliment the yellow tri-coat. Tires have <2000 miles on them and are Toyo Proxes R888. They are literally like new.

This is model is equipped with regular brakes. NON-CCB    So that means they are quieter, work better for daily use, and won't kill your pocketbook when it is time for maintenance. Rotors and pads are fresh with >80% life remaining.

This beast runs 800whp and 1000whp on pump gas. She also has settings for 1000whp race gas and 1100whp race gas. She can be tuned for whichever race gas you prefer before delivery. A four setting switch cleanly mounted at the rear of the center console allows for on-the-fly power setting changes.

She might have 1100whp but she runs OEM stock when you are not "on it". City speeds she is smooth as silk. Easy cold starts every time. Smooth idle all day long. No odd mannerisms. No weird check engine lights. You disable traction control manually at startup to prevent interference when on-boost (a requirement of most tcs-equipped boost-enabled cars). And then you are ready to go. She gets 19-20mpg on the highway. And the attention this car generates is unreal.

And you simply won't believe the power. Even in the lowest setting it will knock the wind out of your lungs. The blink of an eye is all it takes to reach throw-me-under-the-jail speeds. And with the 220mph drop gears you can enjoy allowing the car to stretch it's legs at mile events if that is your thing.

Car has zero issues. Has received fresh fluids services in the past 500 miles. Needs nothing at all. PPI is welcome. This car truly is "like new" !! And she is mechanically overbuilt so she will last.

I am selling so I can move on to other projects. (we have a one-toy-at-a-time rule in my house it seems)

Includes both keys, transmitters (with new batteries in each fob), all manuals and tools. Nothing is missing!

Serious buyers only please private message with questions. More pics available on request. Thanks for viewing!

Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse isn't mellow, comes in yellow

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

Normally, this is the part where we remind you that the Lamborghini Gallardo is about to be replaced, and that this LP570-4 Squadra Corse is the swan song for the model range. That first part may be true, but at this point, we'd be shocked if yet another special edition Gallardo didn't debut before the car's successor is unveiled. Gotta make that money, honey.
But back to the Squadra Corse. This latest Lambo shares the majority of its components with the Gallardo Super Trofeo, which itself is based on the Superleggera, meaning that car's 570-horsepower V10 carries over, as does the carbon fiber rear wing and removable engine hood. Massive weight-saving methods have been employed here with the Squadra Corse, and thus, the big coupe tips the scales at just 2,954 pounds - that's less than a Volkswagen Golf.
Of course, with that little weight and that much power, performance is pretty staggering. Hitting 60 miles per hour takes 3.4 seconds and the car will rocket to 124 mph in 10.4 clicks. Top speed: 199 mph. Just couldn't muster up that additional mph, we guess.

2021 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago is all about the hexagons

Mon, Jul 20 2020

Every modern-day hypercar needs to have loads of limited-production special editions. Even the most exclusive cars such as the Bugatti Chiron aren't exclusive enough. And as a result of needing to satiate the demand for special hypercars, there are some odd limited editions. The latest is the 2021 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition. It's special because of hexagons. Well, it's not just hexagons. It also celebrates Lamborghini's Ad Personam customization program and the fact that customers can now participate in the program virtually instead of flying out to Italy. As it so happens, this special Aventador can only be ordered through the virtual version of the program. So what's the connection between an online customization program and hexagons? We have no idea. And the connection is more tenuous when you see that Lamborghini says its hexagonal patterns for the car were inspired by the hexagonal clouds on Saturn's north pole. Yes, you read that right. Oh, and the name? We also don't know, but it might just be that they're the middle letters of Lamborghini's design theme called "hexagonita." Among the hexagon details are silver patterns that fade in and out on the paint. The interior upholstery features a hexagonal pattern all the way down, too. Outside of that, the customer gets to pick the paint colors, which will also be reflected by contrast panels on the seats. Otherwise, it's a regular Aventador SVJ, which is still pretty exciting with a blistering Nurburgring lap time and 770 horsepower. Only 10 of these hexagonal Aventadors will be built, and that leaves us a bit vexed. Shouldn't Lamborghini build a number of these cars divisible by six? A very mild hex upon the person that missed the opportunity to sextuple down on the hexagon theme. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lamborghini Urus prototype spied lapping the Nurburgring

Thu, Nov 2 2017

The Lamborghini Urus is coming on December 4, just days after the end of the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Italian automaker's first SUV has been in development for years, but things are finally coming to a climax. Crossovers are hot, so we wouldn't be surprised at all if the Urus becomes Lamborghini's best-selling model. As such it needs to look, sound and drive like a vehicle worth of the charging bull badge. Thanks to YouTube channel Stateside Super Cars, we have some new video of the new Lambo lapping the Nurburgring. The Urus will be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 making 650 horsepower. This is likely to be a hopped-up version of Audi's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. In fact, you can see a new Audi A8 with that engine lapping the 'Ring just behind the Urus prototype. The video gives us a small taste of the exhaust note, giving a deep low burble with a few cracks and pops on lift-off. The 'ute is still covered with a wrap, but you can make out the basic appearance. It doesn't look too far off the concept we saw a few years ago, with an aggressive roofline and a distinctly Lamborghini front fascia. Look for full details in just over a month. Related Video:
