Less than 3000 miles on the build. I've been building her up for the past year and I can tell you this is the perfect Twin Turbo opportunity for someone looking to get into 1000+whp cars.

This car is near perfect on the exterior. Only blemish of note is a small scratch out of sight under the car on the rear diffuser, well less than normal wear and tear as I had the dealer swap for the freshest one on the floor at the time of purchase.

Interior is equally near perfect with the only blemish being one small hairline scratch on the driver's side door panel, out of sight when the door is shut and near impossible to find in broad daylight unless you know exactly where to look.

Wheels have never been curbed and have received a gloss-black treatment to better compliment the yellow tri-coat. Tires have <2000 miles on them and are Toyo Proxes R888. They are literally like new.

This is model is equipped with regular brakes. NON-CCB    So that means they are quieter, work better for daily use, and won't kill your pocketbook when it is time for maintenance. Rotors and pads are fresh with >80% life remaining.

This beast runs 800whp and 1000whp on pump gas. She also has settings for 1000whp race gas and 1100whp race gas. She can be tuned for whichever race gas you prefer before delivery. A four setting switch cleanly mounted at the rear of the center console allows for on-the-fly power setting changes.

She might have 1100whp but she runs OEM stock when you are not "on it". City speeds she is smooth as silk. Easy cold starts every time. Smooth idle all day long. No odd mannerisms. No weird check engine lights. You disable traction control manually at startup to prevent interference when on-boost (a requirement of most tcs-equipped boost-enabled cars). And then you are ready to go. She gets 19-20mpg on the highway. And the attention this car generates is unreal. You can literally daily drive this beast!

And you simply won't believe the power. Even in the lowest setting it will knock the wind out of your lungs. The blink of an eye is all it takes to reach throw-me-under-the-jail speeds. And with the 220mph drop gears you can enjoy allowing the car to stretch it's legs at mile events if that is your thing.

Car has zero issues. Has received fresh fluids services in the past 1000 miles. Needs nothing at all. PPI is welcome. This car truly is "like new" !! And she is mechanically overbuilt so she will last.

I am selling so I can move on to other projects. (we have a one-toy-at-a-time rule in my house it seems)

Includes both keys, transmitters (with new batteries in each fob), all manuals and tools. Nothing is missing!

Serious buyers only please private message with questions. More pics available on request. Thanks for viewing!

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato prototype spied testing in the snow

Wed, Jan 19 2022

Back in the summer of 2019, which seems like so much longer than two and a half years ago at this point, Lamborghini showed an interesting concept called the Huracan Sterrato. It was a lifted, widebody version of the mid-engine supercar, and its name literally translated to dirt. It was quite cool, and surprisingly grounded. And it must've been received well not just by us, but possibly customers, because these spy photos seem to indicate Lamborghini is working on a production model. There are a few indicators, but the most clear is the fact this test car has a noticeably taller ride height than its pavement-pounding predecessors. The concept, for reference, had an extra 1.85-inches of ground clearance. Furthermore, the prototype is sporting roof rails like those seen on the concept. Some other interesting additions that may or may not indicate plans for the production car include the skid plate up front, the additional lighting on the hood, and a new roof scoop up top. They're all clearly temporary additions, but the concept had bodywork that suggested some sort of skid plate, as well as auxiliary lighting. The roof scoop is a bit of a head-scratcher, though. We're not one to turn down a sweet mid-engine supercar scoop, but roof rails would seem to suggest carrying stuff on the roof, which would seem to directly block said scoop. On the other hand, that scoop could provide cleaner air when out in the dirt. Missing from the concept are the fat fender flares, but that's not too much of a surprise. We would expect the powertrain is basically the same as that of the Huracan Evo with a naturally aspirated V10 and all-wheel drive. It will probably have specific driving modes that adjust the traction and stability control systems for sporty, slippery driving conditions. We could also see the car being shown sometime either this year or next year, since it will likely be based on the current Huracan. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lamborghini Huracan is officially sold out through end of production

Tue, May 16 2023

The Lamborghini Gallardo managed a trick no V8-powered Lamborghini pulled off before, going back to the 1973 Urraco: Act as a thoroughly worthy undercard to the V12 main event. Perhaps the two extra cylinders made the difference, the Italian automaker selling 14,022 examples during the Gallardo's 10 years on sale. That was a massive number, especially when the automaker was selling closer to 1,000 cars per year than the 9,233 it sold last year. The Huracan proved an even sweeter package, selling 14,022 units in just five years. With more than 20,000 on the roads worldwide, the V10 storm is about to come to an end. A single sentence in Lamborghini's summary of Q1 financial performance reveals the V10 is "sold out till the end of production." The results summary doesn't specify the date the last Huracan rumbles off the line. We know it will happen sometime next year, the automaker's production almost entirely accounted for through the end of 2024. Whatever follows the Huracan will make its debut later this year, and somehow, Lamborghini has managed to keep the powertrain secret. It's agreed that the chassis will be a modified version of the platform created for the V12 hybrid flagship Revuelto. Car magazine says the Revuelto's "monofuselage" will be reworked with aluminum to lower the price. As recently as last November, Auto Express wrote about Lamborghini technical officer Rouven Mohr saying, "[the Huracan successor is] not a range-oriented hybrid and there will be no kind of downsizing," the mag saying Mohr conveyed the sentiment "that it’s against LamborghiniÂ’s philosophy to reduce the engine size and then 'compensate' with electrification as some rivals have done."  A twin-turbo hybrid V8 has come up more recently, this engine being of Lamborghini's design. With the company longer having a corporate sibling in the Volkswagen Group stable to share V10 hybrid costs and upkeep with, a hybrid V8 makes much more sense. The Group is awash in V8s and will be using hybridized versions in models from several brands. The scuttlebutt on this engine alleges about 850 horsepower of total output, turbos that don't spool up until 7,000 rpm, and a 10,000-rpm redline. And we already know it's going to sell like hotcakes — or crespolini, rather.  Related: 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato First Drive: Ridiculous obliteration of boundaries Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. The best cars we drove this year

Tue, Dec 30 2014

Six hundred and fifty. That's roughly how many cars pass through the hands of Autoblog editors every year, from the vehicles we test here at home, to the cars we drive on new product launches, testing roundups, long-term cars, and so on. Of course, our individual numbers vary due to several reasons, but at the end of the day, our team's repertoire of automotive experience is indeed vast. But let's be honest, some cars certainly stand out more than others. So as the year's about to turn, and as we're readying brand-new daily cat calendars for our cubicles, our editors are all taking time to reflect on the machinery that made this year so special, with one simple, open-ended question as the guide – a question that we're asked quite frequently, from friends, family, colleagues, and more. "What's the best car you drove this year?" Lamborghini Huracan When I review the list of everything I drove in 2014, picking an absolute favorite becomes almost impossible. I mean, how does one delineate between the joy offered by cars as different as the Alfa Romeo 4C, Volkswagen Golf R, Mercedes-AMG GT S and even the humble-yet-wonderful Chevy Colorado? Okay fine, I'll just pick the Lamborghini. I drove the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 on a racetrack, in the mountains, and along southern coast of Spain. It felt like the king of the car jungle in all of those places, sucking the eyeballs of observers nearly out of their heads as it drove by, and almost melting my brain with its cocktail of speed and grip and intense communication. It feels a little easy to say that the one new supercar I drove this year was also my favorite, but the fact is that the Huracan is one of the finest cars I've driven during my career, let alone 2014. Judge me if you must. – Seyth Miersma Senior Editor Rolls-Royce Wraith There are a couple of ways to look at the question, "What's the best car you drove this year?" In terms of what was so good I'd go out and buy one tomorrow, that'd be my all-time sweetheart, the Volkswagen GTI. Or if I'm just talking about sheer cool-factor, maybe something like the Galpin GTR1, BMW i8, or Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. But instead, I'm going to write about the sheer opulence of being the best of the best. The hand-crafted, holier-than-thou, shut-your-mouth-when-I'm-talking-to-you supremacy. I'm picking the Rolls-Royce Wraith. I drove the Wraith for a week in April, and was really, really impressed. This car does everything, perfectly.
