You are looking at a perfect 2004 6-speed Lamborghini Gallardo that needs nothing. This combo of clear bonnet and 6-speed and color with the carbon fiber accents make this a sought after car. This is the way a Gallardo should have come from the factory. This car has a lot of similarities to its sister the Superleggera. Has a carbon fiber & clear engine bonnet, Carbon fiber rear wing (factory fit & Style), Carbon fiber wheels and the of course the LP-550 front bumper (nose). This car looks amazing. The interior is two tone with Yellow & black. It also has some carbon fiber cues & styling for the center console. The extra do not stop on the Exterior. It has a nice Pioneer touch screen dvd /cd/MPS/Navigation player with an amazing 400 watt stereo. Back up camera built into rear wing. New door speakers component set with built in X-over and a 13'' Sub built into the center console between the two seats. The box was made with a carbon fiber looking material to match the rest of the accents. The 13'' sub is a new design from JL audio that is only 5'' deep so it does not take up any needed space. The engine is fully stock with only the addition of Hefner performance cat-back exhaust kit for a nice sound without being obnoxious. Car runs, drives and sounds great. Has a new battery and i keep it on a battery tender. Rubber is good. The car has a rear lamp light that comes on after you use the tern signal. This can only be reset by a Lamborghini dealer and there are none close to me. The car thinks it is missing the rear lights associated with a European model. The computer has to be set to American and it will go away. All lights and signal work as proof of this. The only down side to purchasing this car is that getting a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) from a Lambo dealer will be close to impossible since i am at least 4 hours from the closest one. Feel free to have it checked out by anyone else. I also have the PPI report that was done by Lamborghini of Miami when i bought the car giving it a clean bill of health. I am second or third owner to my knowledge. The car is near perfect in every way.

Barn-find 1969 Lamborghini Miura S headed to auction for its 50th birthday

Wed, Aug 14 2019

Car collectors who have caught barn find fever show no sign of healing from it anytime soon. An unrestored, barn-found 1969 Lamborghini Miura S will sell for big money when it crosses the auction block in the fall of 2019, and it might return to the road in time to celebrate its 50th birthday. Auction house RM Sotheby's explains the Miura S it will sell in London on October 24 has only covered a little bit over 10,000 miles since it rolled off the assembly line in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. German advertising executive Walter Becker purchased the car in 1971, according to CarBuzz, and sold it to racing driver Hans-Peter Weber in 1974. He drove the Miura, maintained it, and went to great lengths to keep it original until he died in 2015. It has been parked in a German barn since, so it's a freshman barn find that likely doesn't need a ton of work to once again move under its own power. We'd be more worried if it spent 25 years in a barn. The front turn signals aren't original, and the seatbelts are aftermarket units, but the rest of the car is 100% authentic. Its body has never been repainted, the seats have never been re-upholstered, and the 365-horsepower, 3.9-liter V12 engine has never been opened. It's complete, and there are no signs of obvious damage or neglect. We've seen 10-year old supercars in worse shape than this one. The Miura is one of the most sought-after 1960s Italian cars, only 338 examples of the S variant were made from 1968 to 1971, and finding an unrestored example that hasn't been completely destroyed by people, rust, or both is rare. RM Sotheby's expects the 1969 model scheduled to cross the block in London will sell for anywhere between 800,000 and one million British pounds, sums that represent $965,000 and $1.2 million, respectively. We'd get the V12 running, keep the rest original, and enjoy it, but the next owner might be tempted to give it a full restoration, especially now that Lamborghini sells a full catalog of Miura parts via its Polo Storico division. Lamborghini teasing 50th Anniversary model in video?

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

This new year is going to mark a lot of anniversaries in the automotive world, including the 60th year of the Chevrolet Corvette and 50 years since the introduction of the Porsche 911 and the Lamborghini brand. We already know Chevy is celebrating with the all-new C7 Corvette, and we've heard rumblings that Lamborghini might be planning a new model of its own.
Tucked in at the end of a great video highlighting the first 50 years of Lamborghini, there's a quick glance of a shadowy car with Gallardo-like headlights. There isn't much to go off of in this shot, but we do see that the front fenders are more squared-off than any other current model, meaning that it could very well be the 2014 replacement for the Gallardo.
Scroll down to watch Lamborghini's history (and possibly future) wrapped up quite nicely in a 72-second video.

Dave Lang lands 180 Rollerblade jump over Lamborghini, Bam Margera crashes it anyway

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lending further credence to the internetism "This is why we can't have nice things," real-life court jester Bam Margera had a tough weekend with his Lamborghini Murciélago after letting rollerblader Dave Lang perform a 180-degree jump over it.
While the stunt seemed to go off without a hitch, a second video has emerged showing Margera attempting to back his Lamborghini convertible up. Despite the presence of side mirrors, the former Jackass host hits a Cadillac. The damage to the Murciélago appears largely cosmetic, although we highly doubt the error is going to come cheap.
There is some salty language in the video, although everything, even the subtitles, are bleeped out. We've got both videos below, so if you're in the mood for a little schadenfreude, feel free to take a look.
