Lamborghini : Diablo 6.0 Se on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
|
The only 6.0 SE currently for sale anywhere in the world. The last time any 6.0 SE was advertised was the final car that sold @ Barrett Jackson auctions January 2012, so you know how far and few between these cars are let alone change hands. The Barrett Jackson car was Canadian spec and not for sale or to be driven in the USA. My car is a USA spec, it is # 34 & probably one of no more than 10 in the USA. Painted in Maroone Eclipse, a highly sought after color in modern Lamborghini's and offered here as one of only 20 in the entire world. Pictures car never do the car justice, this is my 4th 6.0 i've owned and the most beautiful of them all. Vehicle has just completed a major overhaul and full service, all books and both tool kits included. Factory car cover in the bag (Yellow), as well as the custom 3 piece luggage set that sits in the trunk. These are all unique and one offs. I'm pretty sure i have everything with the car just as it was when it left the factory. List of components replaced:
Drive train.
Interior.
Last notation and VERY important, if you are the winning bidder, YOU MUST have this car PPI'd. I want the buyer to be 100% happy with the purchase, you're spending a LOT of money on this classic car, make sure you get what you expect. DO NOT buy the car and wire funds sight unseen, if you do purchase and decide not to view the car, the money will be refunded and transaction cancelled. In other words, part of the transaction record REQUIRES that the high and winning bidder pay for a PPI at the dealer of choice, if no PPI is requested 96 hours after winning bid, deposit will be RETAINED (Due to you not following guidelines, i will keep this deposit) and car will be re-listed. I'm happy to give any test drives, pick you up at TPA and take you and the car directly to the service shop of your choice. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. I believe based on very accurate records, that the Maroon Eclipse 6.0 SE is one of only 5 in the entire USA & i feel this is the most perfect and pristine example.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario is one helluva birthday present
Fri, 19 Apr 2013While most 50th birthday parties include wacky and at least somewhat offensive gag gifts, Lamborghini will be celebrating its first 50 years with some incredibly exciting machines. Aside from the Veneno, the Italian automaker will also commemorate its first half century with new versions of the Aventador and Gallardo, which will both be on display at the Shanghai Motor Show.
The special Gallardo LP 560-2 50 Anniversario is a Gallardo with a unique paint scheme, a transparent engine cover and a few carbon fiber parts from the Superleggera, but the Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario is where you'll find the true party favor. Confirming what leaked out earlier in the week, the Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario squeezes an extra 20 horsepower from its 6.5-liter V12 compared to the "base" Aventador LP 700-4, which is accomplished with different engine tuning.
If the Aventador wasn't already flashy enough for you, the 50 Anniversario gets painted up in a two-tone paint job with a bright yellow Giallo Maggio exterior color over matte black for the lower portions of the car, along with gloss-black wheels. Lamborghini chose yellow because it has been the most popular color for its cars since the Miura. As for unique styling elements, the Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario gets a revised front end with an extended splitter and bigger air intakes, and the rear fascia has been completely redesigned for better aerodynamics and engine ventilation.
Surviving Countach from 'The Wolf of Wall Street' headed to auction
Tue, Aug 8 2023The Lamborghini Countach’s rarity and status as the bedroom wall poster car of the 1980s has made it exceedingly valuable as a collectorÂ’s car. That said, a few examples of the car have risen above the rest as incredibly rare and expensive, and one of these super-special Lambos is headed to auction in December. RM SothebyÂ’s recently announced that it would auction a 1-of-12 white Countach that starred in "The Wolf of Wall Street." The 1989 25th Anniversary Bianco Polo Countach is one of two cars used in the film, but the other was badly damaged during production. With its U.S.-spec bumpers and Bianco (white) interior, the car is considered exceptionally valuable – at up to $2 million by some estimates. The damaged car still wears its scars, but SothebyÂ’s pointed out that the Countach in its auction sustained no damage during filming. The location and current condition of the other Countach are unknown, but as far as we can tell, no one has attempted to restore or auction it in the years since filming. This content is hosted by a third party. That sizable powerplant made 449 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque when new, which reached the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Its performance isnÂ’t all that impressive by todayÂ’s standards – it takes around 5 seconds to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill. The 190 mph top speed is quite stout, but the CountachÂ’s appeal is about more than its specs. From its debut in the early 1970s, the Countach has commanded the imaginations of car enthusiasts, young and old. Many of us grew up in the 1980s with the car plastered on our bedroom walls, and its staggering 26-year production run is the stuff of legends. The 25th Anniversary models had styling touches designed by Horacio Pagani, and this car is breathtaking, even with its goofy U.S. bumpers — safety regulations here required the addition of awkward bumper guards on the carÂ’s nose. Watch a ham-fisted Russian wreck his Lamborghini
Fri, Jul 8 2016Russia is responsible for some of the best dashcam videos on the planet. And today, we're sorry to say that includes the destruction of a poor Lamborghini. You can't always judge a book by its cover, but based on the look of this particular Lambo – a chromed finish and aftermarket alloys – its driver probably has more money than talent. That's probably the best explanation for why he was driving so quickly in such treacherous conditions. After looping around one vehicle, the back steps out and the car – The Daily Sun incorrectly calls it a Huracan, but it's a Murcielago – spears an innocent Peugeot. The Lambo ends its journey by colliding with a guardrail, splaying most of its front end across the M9 motorway outside Moscow. Police took the Lamborghini's driver, a 30-year-old man, into custody for his role in the wreck. One witness told The Daily Sun that the supercar passed the film car like it was standing still, something police confirmed, saying "[The Lamborghini owner] was driving at high speed on the wet tarmac and lost control."
